I purchased a Groupon for a 2 hour cleaning service with 2 cleaners. I am moving to Florida and I wanted my 1 bdrm 1 bth apartment to be clean before I did a walkthrough with my landlord. They were 30 min late. I told them they could park in my spot in the garage yet they parked right in the middle of my spot and the spot next to mine. I left a note for them to please focus on the kitchen and bathroom, along with payment, and a tip based on the full price of the service instead of the Groupon price. I came home when they were finishing up mopping my living room and bathroom. When they left I walked around to inspect my apartment and wondered (and am still wondering) what they did for those 2 hours in a completely EMPTY apartment! Some of the kitchen counters were wiped and my five dishes were clean, yet another one of my counters in the kitchen wasn't wiped and the kitchen floor wasn't mopped. I went to the bathroom and the counters were not wiped, the bathtub and separate shower weren't clean, the toilet inside and out was not cleaned, and the floors weren't even mopped well. Didn't smell a hint of bleach anywhere. There is absolutely no way that 2 people were cleaning that apt for 2 hours especially when there was no furniture or anything in there. I even went back to the Groupon site to see if there was anything in the fine print about the services. Nothing. I called the company to complain and they asked if I wanted someone to come back and clean it the following day. I explained to them that I was moving and that was my last day there. They said they aren't able to give me a refund and there was nothing they could do. Huge waste of money and disgusting customer service. If I knew they were going to slack on a Groupon purchase I wouldn't have gotten it in the first place, but based on the reviews it seems they do a good job if you pay full price. I hope they enjoyed the $65 plus tip I got suckered out of and basically handed to them to do a lazy sloppy job. read more

Never again. I bought a deal for two hours of cleaning with AHCS. They stayed for one hour, barely worked, then left. I was in the middle of production and couldn't call about the AWFUL service, so when I got a call a couple weeks later for follow-up, I told the staff what happened. They told me the cleaners' cars have GPS, and that the car was at my place for two hours. However that was orchestrated, I don't know. This place is shady. Don't use them. read more

I purchased the service through Groupon. Scheduled a cleaning on February 16 for March 2 - which they canceled 2 days before. I rescheduled the cleaners for today and they didn't show up. When I called the company I was told that they would check the ETA and return my phone call. An hour and a half later nothing. AND now they're not picking up the phone!! I only gave them a star because I had to. Do not use them. I booked a week ago. When they didn't show up, I called. Was told they had me booked for the next Wed. which I would never had done as my party was the previous Friday and the next Wednesday would have done me no good. We even had an entire conversation about me being surprised I could book this late the day before Thanksgiving so there was no error as to when I needed them. I purchased a living social deal for a home cleaning and called to schedule. I got their voicemail so I left left a msg asking about next day availability. It took half the day for them to return my call and the lady left a minute long lecture on my voicemail about their open hours (which I called during) and how they were in a company-wide meeting so no one could answer the phone. But, she said nothing about next-day availability and didn't use my name, just a reference to my phone number. Nice. So, I tried calling back.... and called and called and called. After four tries the same rude lady that left me the voicemail answered. I explained that I had purchased the living social deal and that I was wondering if they had any availability tomorrow. She pretty much laughed and said there wasn't anyone available until next Wednesday. I believe in listening to what people tell you and she was making it pretty clear that they did not need nor want my business. So, I said thank you, hung up, and logged in to living social to get a refund for my voucher. Done and done. I can find another company to help with spring cleaning! As for the cleaning service? I used them one time previous, it wasn't bad, but like many other reviews, the crew of 2 did not stay the entire time I paid for. That is my fault not to have spoke up. If you pay for 3 hours of cleaning, that is what you should get. Also, if you use a groupon or living social deal; Make sure you use it in the valid dates or you will be sorry. I purchased a "$120.00 value" for $90. When the time got away from me and the coupon expired, they would still honor the paid value of $90, but now the $120 service was a $150?!!!! So i was asked to pay an additional $60. A 60% mark up? Sounds like they just wanted to keep the money but not do the service. Thats when Emily's rudeness kicked in, not to mention deceit and misrepresentations of the truth. It goes on....but the bottom line is; thank goodness Living Social was willing to give "deal bucks" to use on their site. Unfortunately Absolute Home Cleaning and Services has my $90 for nothing....but I don't want deceitful people in my home so I guess the lesson is learned. Gave me false information over the phone prior to purchasing the Groupon and did not want to take responsibility for that or work with me to solve the problem. That's not how you make new client. I usually do my own house cleaning, but decided to try this company out. They didn't clean my bathtubs or sinks. They also sprayed a cheap chemical on my floors, which I believe was their attempt of cleaning. I spent hours mopping my floors to get the sticky substance off. I should have know from the start! I got the groupon for 6 hours for home cleaning. When I called to make the appointment they said it would be two maids for 3 hours. And that was fine. So appointment was set for this morning at 9am. 9am hit and no one was here. At 9:45 I called the office and they said "oh we left you a voicemail yesterday and needed to reschedule for 1pm today." Okay,kinda messed with plans but at least it was still happening. So 1pm hits... No one is here... I call at 1:50 and they put me on hold for 5 minutes and come back to tell me they think it might be the weather that's making the maids late, but they will call them and give me a call back. They called me right back and said they were here. They come to the door and say they were told to be here between 2-3?!? WTH?!? Oh well, annoying but at lest they made it. I needed to leave the house, as I had plans previously made, but I had guest at my house that would be there while they cleaned. At 4pm they tell my guest they are done and if he wants to tip, they can take it now. Are you kidding me!?!?!! 1. They should have been here at 9am or at least 1pm. 2. It was clear I was the home owner as I gave all the direction to them. So why would you ask my guest for a tip?!? 3. When the hell is it ever okay to ask for a tip?!? 4. They left an hour early. 5. And worst of all, they did a shi**y JOB!!!! Crumbs in visible corners, hall table not wiped, food still on outside of trash can and counter. We payed for 6hs and they stayed for 2(4 because it was the two of them). They asked for a tip and to a guest of mine and they did a half a** job. I was home at 4:50 (so I could check out the house and tip) and was told what happened and then noticed the job they did. I attempted to call the office but they had closed. Got the groupon-- $90 for 6 hours of cleaning. Seemed too good to be true, but there was no funny business. Our cleaners, Rose and Kristie could not have been more attentive, polite, and friendly. They arrived 15 minutes early, and cleaned for three hours (6 hours=2 people at 3 hours). I was very skeptical about purchasing my Groupon because of all the negative reviews, but I must say , besides having to book 3 weeks in advance I was actually pretty satisfied with my service. They let me know ahead of time they were going to send me 2 workers for 2 hours of service instead of 1 worker for 4 hours of work, that was definitely ok with me. The workers called me the day before to remind me they were coming and approximately what time and the day of to let me know they were on their way. The were exactly on time. They came in introduced themselves (Lisa & Joey) asked what I wanted done and started right away..I loved that they brought all their own cleaning supplies. In exactly the 2 hours they cleaned my 2 bedroom 1 1/2 bathroom with no problem even had some time over to do a few of my big windows. They were efficient and professional. First, the not-so-good: the service ended up costing me nearly 3 times what they first quoted me, despite me telling them on the phone multiple times when booking that there was no way a move-out house cleaning could get done in 3 hours. The cleaners had to work an extra hour the first day, then they had to return the next day for a few more hours. And there was a time scheduling mix-up the second day so they showed up 3 hours later than promised, though I didn't mind as long as it got completed that day. Second, the good: the cleaning itself was spectacular. Tasha & Sherry made the place sparkling clean, almost unrecognizable. They were simply fantastic! Their work was professional and impeccable, and I couldn't have been any happier with how clean the house was. Buying a groupon for this service was one of the worst things I've ever spent my money on. I should've saved my money and cleaned my apartment myself because I could've done a much better job. Firstly, they show up WITHOUT a vacuum cleaner. One of the main reasons why I bought the groupon is because I have a cat and my own vacuum cleaner is broken. I needed my apartment to be vacuumed. Secondly, I paid for 2 workers for 2 hours.. When they got into my apartment the lady told me that they could have it cleaned faster than 2 hours and if this was ok because they had to pick up their kids in the valley soon. There were things on my coffee table that weren't even dusted. And many things were just dusted around. This was a half ass job that I spent entirely too much money on. read more

I used their cleaning services in October 2012. The 2 maids showed up ready to work and did so for the entire 3 hours. They didn't do a lot of chit-chatting (which I've had before with others). They just went from room to room cleaning. Both ladies were personable, clean and respectful of my home. I recently scheduled a deep cleaning service at our home. We have a baby and a dog and it's just tough to keep up! Illiana and Nancy were really great. Friendly but they got to work right away and didn't stop till their time was up. I have no complaints - they did all the special extras I asked for (cleaning base boards etc) - and got the whole house spic and span - and they were very thorough, more so than other cleaners I've had who did "ok" but skipped pulling things out of corners.
