I took it to the owner, who is extremely cool and knowledgeable, took a look at it. Pointed out that the rim was exposing the bead and the tire had cracked. Didn't even charge me. Went back for the inspection and was in and out of the door. Another time I took my window regulator. Not only did they repair it, which other shops refused since I didn't buy it from them, but they also charged me a great price and told me they don't overprice repairs because they believe in honest work and not screwing paying customers. I have spent my money with these people on many occasions and usually the owner (who's a male usually helps and is usually professional and nice) so it was my first time dealing with her. However I am also a business owner and worked In customer service for years so the way you talk to a customer is super important to me. Especially if it's a customer who actually gave you their hard earned money on more than one occasion and to get a rude action like that is a slap in the face. I hate to say it but I may not give them my money ever again for that because that was absolutely rude! So to the lady who was rude here's a pointer for you "WETHER THE CUSTOMER IS GOING TO ABLOAGE OR NOT, KEEP YOUR ADDITUDE TO YOURSELF! NO ONE WHOS LOOKING TO PAY YOU WANTS TO DEAL WITH THAT CRAP! Just because of you being rude you lost a paying customer. I am no longer doing referrals either.

He diagnosed a few different things it could be over the phone, and it turns out it was the battery was dead (as he predicted lol). Within 24 hours or maybe 36, he was able to pick up my bike, have it diagnosed, and provide an accurate estimate of costs. I dropped off some cash to him, and the parts are on order. I am looking to be riding again within a few more days! After speaking some more with him, I found out that Drew is a knowledgeable motorcycle technician and shop manager with over 20 years experience. Safety is really important to Pat and he will make sure your bike is safe to ride. Had a little hiccup when I got the bike home but Pat immediately took ownership and resolved the issue and while he had the bike he even drained the primary and adjusted the clutch at no extra charge. Pat also solved an electrical issue with a turn signal that other shops had said they fixed.

After a few minutes on the call he told me to try another option first and see if it works. They were super friendly and helpful. The option he gave me to try worked perfectly and saved me some money. Good to see there are still shops out there willing to help. My carburetor on my 1974 Monkey is definitely going to be rebuilt by them.

I never thought it would be so difficult getting some work done on my bike, but the level of rudeness I endured from various other shops (ahem...Pro Street Cycles) was ridiculous. Nick is an easy going guy and knows what he's doing. His work is quality, and won't break the bank. He works on all makes and models, but it was especially nice to find a competent Indian motorcycle mechanic in the area. Not sure whats going on with a lot of young business owners these days, but they sure as hell don't want to do any work. This shop is different. Will definitely call these guys first in the future.

Its 96 cubic inch S&S engine…read morehad started puking oil on every start, so I took it to a local shop that kept it for 6 weeks and charged me a fortune, only to get it home and have it do the same thing. I contacted the local Harley dealer and they said - "yeah - that shop has problems - go to Oceana Cycles if you want a knowledgeable mechanic." So I did. Steve at Oceana Cycles took one look at my engine and knew the other shop had gone down the wrong track by trying to repair my oil pump. He started the engine, saw oil leak and knew he was right since it had been running 20 minutes earlier. He started it the next morning and it puked all over the shop. He diagnosed a clogged fuel overflow tube, rebuilt the carb and replaced the clogged tube by the day after, and I picked it up running like a top for a reasonable fee. If you ride a motorcycle in Virginia Beach, go see Trey Hodges and his mechanic, Steve when you need work!
