I came in prepared with paperwork so I wouldn't forget anything, and he was very attentive he even recorded our conversation to ensure everything was documented accurately. I also had a follow-up with NP Amanda Dodge, who was easy to talk to and genuinely willing to help in any way she could. Overall, I felt heard, respected, and well cared for. While experiences can vary from person to person, mine has been very positive and I believe being prepared and open during your visit really helps.

At multiple visits, it did not feel like my chart or prior treatment history was reviewed, and I often had to repeat information about previous injection sites. When I asked clarifying questions about my treatment plan, I was discouraged from doing so and told not to question the approach. On one visit, I was told not to return if I was uncomfortable with how care was being provided. I also had bruising and swelling near my eye multiple times from him hitting a vein. While I understand this can happen, the repetition raised concerns for me since I never had this happen with previous doctors. Finally, after requesting to see a nurse practitioner instead, my appointment was canceled by the doctor and I was told not to return. I have no words...well I do, but I will refrain.
