I went to this location to have some x-rays done. The customer service was good. The only thing I think that could use a little bit of improvement is the seating area as it is very small and there were a lot of people sitting there which made me a little uncomfortable given that Covid is still running rampant, but the people that performed my, necessary tests were nice. I wish I would've gotten their names. Other than that I would use this facility again in the future if necessary, but I would definitely wear a mask. read more

The scheduling lady with white hair from my observation and encounter is racist. I walked in as the only black girl. The black woman in window 1 asked me to go to the scheduling lady with the gesture of her ands with the assumption i didn't have an appointment. The white lady with white hair gives me a mask and proceeded to answer the phone as if I weren't there. I proceeded to the black woman in window 1 who finally asks if i have an appoint. I let her know i do and give her my va identification. The black woman sends me to window 4. I'm greeted with respect and feel safer speaking with this woman. As a veteran today i felt disappointed. They were arrogant in insisting that it must have been my mistake. They also refused to make room for me today so I now have to wait 2 more weeks. They refused to make any concessions! Not only is she lovely in appearance and demeanor, but she was technically skilled and very compassionate. I'm not sure why I made my Appointment at this location being there's one near my house! Anyway, I kept this appointment. When I arrived I signed in and the girl told me I was supposed to be there 1/2 hour before my appointment. I was there for a sonogram and told her when I made my appointment no one said I should arrive 1/2 hour early! Makes no sense to me. My appointment is for 2:30, I arrive on time and I am told there are 4 people ahead of me and you want me there 1/2 hour earlier than my appointment?? The waiting room at this location is packed with mostly elderly people with a few nuts thrown in! I couldn't wait to get my test done and leave. One man is on his cell phone speaker yelling his conversation in the waiting room as if he's home. What is wrong with people?!? I notice a sign "shut cell phones" but clearly no one who works there says anything. I need to get an EKG and chest X-ray so I called to ensure they provided these services. The call taker told me they did at the Sun City location however it was a walk-in basis only. I drive 45min to the Sun City location to be advised their EKG machine had been broken for more than one month. On top of this, the receptionist was extremely rude! Very busy when I went in for appointment and was extremely pleased with the service I received. Seating was at a premium and I think that should be addressed, definitely need enough seats to accommodate everyone. Other than that everything went smoothly. Had to come here for a couple tests because my local tower was "broken". A little tough to find was the biggest problem. Once there, staff was friendly and nice. My tech was great and before I knew it I was done my tests and on my way. No appointment necessary for routine xrays and EKG's! Nice! Went in for scheduled mri for my knee. 630 in the am. Reception was friendly and efficient. I really appreciate the MRI tech assisting me off the machine after the images were completed. Just the time of the study had stiffened the joint, and was having difficulty lifting it from the sleeve. The tech wqs there holding out his hand and assisting me in no time. I have been a health care provider for 40 years and fortunately have never needed much health care other than checkups. Excellent service in a great location. The facility is conveniently located off College Ave with ample parking available. The building is well-maintained and spacious. The no cell phone rule is a good touch since it creates a quiet environment. The check-in process was very efficient. The staff was very helpful and willing to go the extra mile to ensure my visit was pleasant. My doctor's office failed to fax my script. The medical assistant made the necessary calls to ensure the fax was sent immediately. She even updated my information with my doctor's office. During the entire process, she continued to reassure me that everything would be fine. Once I was called back for my mammogram, I experienced even more staff pleasantries. The tech was patient and made me feel very comfortable in a situation that could cause agitation. This facility is obviously very efficiently operated by an excellent supervisor and the staff is a direct reflection. I will be utilizing this facility for all of my future radiology needs. read more

I went into the Sun City location and set up an appointment for a week later. one day before the appointment they called to cancel saying they don't take my insurance. I said that this was critically important because I've had 2tias in a month. Did not know what day it was or my name for 20/30 minutes. Lady said they called appointments by importance. I am so mad!!! I took the day off work to go get a mammogram done that I scheduled 6 months ago. I couldn't get a appointment for the riverview office so I got a appointment down in sun city. I let my Dr know where exactly I was going and was told that order I needed was sent over. So this morning when I was told that my order was never sent over. I asked Karen behind the desk if she could please call my Dr's office or be able to look it up in my chart. NOPE I CAN'T DO THAT. You have to call your Dr and have them send us the order and you can reschedule. I was so mad when I left. But instead of calling I stopped in at my Dr's office and the sweet young lady that i talked with told me that the not helpful lady behind the desk at tower radiology sun city could of absolutely looked up my order and could of went ahead with my appointment. Total incompetence. Made appointment for ct scan in March. When I arrived they informed me that they have not done ct scans since May. No one bothered to call me or text/email. They did text and email me to CONFIRM my appointment. This was my fault because I should have known this could happen. It happened two years ago at this same office when I showed up for a ct scan with contrast only to be told they don't do contrast at that office. STAY AWAY!!! The front desk staff were awesome, just as they were a couple weeks earlier when I went for a cat scan. They were able to work me in, even though I was off track and showed up a day early for my exam. This time it was for an MRI followup based on the results of my cat scan. The MRI tech went through the proper procedures to ensure it was okay to get an MRI because I have certain type of spine stimulator inside my body. He was very informative and friendly throughout the procedure. Thanks again Robertson Tower! Front desk staff need training. Rude, inefficient, gossip and liars. Dara in the back was also an issue with attitude and medical confidentiality discussed in front of other patients. Kenny & Sandro, the actual technicians in back, were excellent. But would not ever go back because would have to get through the front desk. Also, they were over an hour behind schedule and it wasn't because of the guys in the back. So there is some kind of break-down in the reception area. Also, it's almost impossible to get through to a live body on the phone in a efficient amount of time. I spent endless amounts of time setting up appointments, calling back with information, etc. Often times, I would be disconnected and have to call back, OR someone would quickly transfer me somewhere else where I would end up at an unidentified voicemail box, leave a message and never get a return call. Or, dumped to a general receptionist only to be routed back to the queue I had already been in. EXTREMELY frustrating experience from A to Z! read more

I had an appointment for a CT scan. The technicians were terrible. They stuck me 3x and could not get a vein. I don't typically have this problem. I even told her where not to stick me because that was just used for blood work and yep she went right there. Tried a spot in my hand that doesn't have a vein. Called in another woman who was so nasty to both of us. She tried to stick the other hand nearly between my fingers and I yelled. She told me I was just sensitive and she was constantly yelling at the other tech in front of me. I needed this test for another test for cancer. Now that is getting pushed back. I have a huge vein in my other arm an no one tried that. They are very very unprofessional. read more

When i had called on the 10th to schedule for a CT SCAN the earliest was feb 14th..i was concerned my dr wouldnt get the results in time. My mom has stage four cancer and severe needle phobia. She has gone to tower radiology twice and both times they did not have what they needed to complete her order. The first time they could not find the correct order for her scan. Both scans needed to be with contrast which required her to be hooked up to a needle. Instead of making sure to read her file and ensure that both appointments stayed together, they canceled one of the appointments and told her she needed to deal with it. She was so upset she did not go to her appointment at all (because of the fear of being stuck twice with a needle.) We had to call and reschedule another appointment and when she arrived they could not find the order for contrast (which shows new cancer). She almost left, but after the receptionist kept looking she found the orders. There is no organization or compassion. Customer Service has definitely declined and anyone should be ashamed to treat someone so poorly that has cancer, it is inhumane. read more

I usually do not write reviews, but I feel compelled to do so given my experience. I had my 2nd MRI done today, but this was my first at Tower. Your receptionship, Danielle, was definitely multi-tasking and polite and efficient even if some of the clients were grumpy. The girl who performed my MRI, Crystal, was truly exceptional. She answered all my questions and made me feel very comfortable. I wish more young people were as courteous and professional as these two girls. You have a couple of gems in these two employees. Also, the pads used for support during my MRI were 100% better than the previous place I had my MRI done. Thanks for brightening my day ladies! read more

My mom went here for years to get my routine mammogram and after finding a lump they said it was normal breast tissue. This October 2017 I called again to get another mammo done and they were booked to far out so I scheduled my mammo at st Josephs. Automatically after doing my mammo they said it was most likely cancer the lump that Tower said was "normal breast tissue"! The following week I had a biopsy done and it was confirmed to be cancer! Two weeks ago I had my lumpectomy and my surgeon said the lump has been there for years. Please nobody go to Tower Radiology they never questioned my lump and told me twice it was nothing! read more

Normally I would not write a review, but I was very disappointed with my experience at Tower radiology. My primary complaint deals with the fact that the technician who guided me through the CAT scan was not proficient in drawing blood or applying the IV in preparation for the contrast dye. It took her several tries to draw blood, and even then barely got enough. As a result of this, I have a large, dark, sore bruise on my right arm. I have had blood taken about every three months for years, and never have I had that experience. As if this was not bad enough, when she attempted to set up the IV, which took several attempts during which she asked me how much fluid I normally drink, she finally decided the needle was properly inserted. Then, the CAT scan was halted near the end of the procedure because my arm was swelling up with the contrast dye since the needle wasn't in the vein. With no explanation, she immediately got a doctor, who told me I needed to massage my arm and put ice or heat on it to prevent my getting a hard lump in my arm, and told me if it swelled further I should go to the emergency room since I might be having an allergic reaction. Never before have I had such an incident with a CAT scan. Also, I was told I might have to come back again and do it all over since the dye went into my arm. This evening my left arm is swollen and painful. My right arm is bruised. I realize that occasionally these types of things happen, but my observation was that this was either carelessness or incompetence. The technician was by no means welcoming or friendly. She hardly spoke two words to me and did not explain the procedure, just went ahead and did it. The facility itself is run down and old. Baseboards have been torn off the walls, leaving large, open gaps. However, that was not of prime importance to me. I hope this review will encourage them to improve attitudes and skill. read more

This place is the biggest nightmare I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. I waited for over an hour while the employees strolled around aimlessly. I asked to speak with the person in charge and a woman i believe her name was Beverly comes out and says there's nothing she can do about the situation. and i could always find somewhere else to have my catscan done.
