My vehicle was towed at 2-3 AM setting off my car alarm, I contacted them immediately to pay & have my vehicle not towed but they declined. Tow driver said I can get my vehicle at 8 am for 315$, if I had not heard my car getting towed & didn't actively seek out their information I'd have no idea it was towed. I also had to wait outside after 8 am to get my vehicle because the driver told me the incorrect time for their summer hours. Based on the costs for other Towing companies in twin cities, 350$ seems excessive for less than 24 hours. I checked their website for the hours & Google, it lists them as 24 hours which isn't true. Even more insulting the cost quoted was wrong it was 396$ which is not only far more it compounds another issue. They only accept cash, but don't give change which is unacceptable to me. If you're a cash only business, how do you have no change available? How do you charge 396$ for less than 24 hours, provide 0 change, when you set your prices that aren't rounded up or down to the nearest interval of 10$ or 20$. That's extremely unprofessional & disrespectful to customers. I'd be less harsh in my review if they could at least provide change. This isn't a food stall on the side of the road, you should have a proper register with a reasonable amount of change instead of actively stealing from customers. read more

Terrible customer service! I was disconnected twice. I was quoted $245 to tow the car 3 miles. It took 20 minutes for the rep to take my card information and then was told my card was declined & when I gave her my debit card information was told that card was denied as well. I had no problems with my credit card when I finally cancelled the tow request and called another service. They only charged me $175 read more

This company stole my MasterCraft boat. Plain and simple, they did not send any notice whatsoever as to retreive it or that they even had it in their possession. No certified mail, no phone call, no regular mail, no newspaper posting, nothing. When attempting to retrieve the boat they then claim to have sent it to auction. This is a $50,000 boat that was taken from underneath us while we STILL have the title in our name, along with an active bank lien on title. These people are crooks. I am going for the throat with the owner Tim Heldman and he will see me in court. I wont let up until justice has been served. This company has the absolute worst reputation besides from the countless lies they have told. read more

The guy pulled up... asked me to get the spare out of the trunk... When he finished, he just walked away... leaving the tire for me to put away. I was wearing nice clothes.. that got dirty. I called them after my truck died on the road tonight. They said 30-45 minutes to get there and they arrived at 45 minutes. Awesome driver, got me off the road quickly and then to my destination. Can't say enough about how nice and professional everyone was. read more

I stopped to use the bathroom in my buddies apartment and put my hazards on and I was gone for max 7 minutes. Then I come out to see my car pulling out on the trailer. And when I called right away they said it would cost 297$ for just the drive there and if you brought 3 100$ bills to pay they don't give change. And if you talk to the women at the front dest. She's beyond unprofessional. She was wearing pajamas and a dirty sweatshirt. If your thinking about having this tow company help you, your better off coughing up an organ to pay for it! read more

What a joke. These clowns took 8 hours only to cancel. U see first they say hey it will be 3hours until we get to you. So you accept your fate and you agree to wait the 3 hours only to have 3 hours come and go and approaching our four when calling to find out where your tow truck is they tell you that they never received a call they don't have any paperwork on it yada yada yada so you call your company and you say hey what's the deal the company says oh no we sent it calls gets put on hold for 15 minutes no less then tells them the PO number they finally find it say oops are bad it'll be another 3 hours the information gets relayed to you and while not happy with it you realize that you're going to just really you know have to accept because they're already on the way right and what's another 3 hours well three more hours come and go and by now you've missed a whole day of work only to have them cancel cancel back out of the contract that they verbally agreed to what a waste of a company read more

Horrible service, do not request a tow from this company. I called multiple times and each time they would tell me it would be 30 min and I waited for over 2.5 hours before calling another towing company that showed up in less than 10 min. The staff was unhelpful and rude when I called to ask if they could give me a better estimate. You're better off calling some other company, would give negative stars if I could. read more

They do not even deserve a star. This towing company was scheduled for me by my insurance rep and kept telling me that they were thirty minutes away for 4 hours. I literally came back to Landfall from Wisconsin Dells and I still haven't gotten a tow. I had literally called at 1 and still didn't receive service at 5. After four hours of waiting and calling for updates that continually put us off by 20 minutes here and 30 minutes there. We got close once we were told 15 minutes. I honestly wish I could give zero stars. It is the middle of the winter in Minnesota and my friend and have been sitting out here in a broke down car (no heat because the car won't start) we have now been out here for nearly 3 hours. They initially told us 90 minutes and then continued to add 30 minutes both times we called, we were broken down 6 Miles from the shop. We have road side assistance and RSA has been calling asking if we had been picked up yet and we had not. The staff was incredibly unhelpful and rude so we ended up calling Stillwater Towing Company and they said they would be here in 10 minutes! Honestly horrified it has taken so long. Was told that it would be 20 minutes, took like an hour and forty-five. When I called after an hour I was told 'the driver is on his way'. When I called after an hour and a half I was told 'the driver is on his way'. I actually had a tow truck from Absolute pass me and when I called to ask if he just missed me they said he was going to another call. I know stuff comes up, but when you tell someone 20 minutes and don't update them, they end up standing on the side of the road for 2 hours wondering where the tow truck is. I wish I would have called somewhere else, abysmal customer service. I could have pushed my car to the repair shop faster than it took these clowns to show up. read more

Absolutely terrible!!! Called at 12n to request a tow. They said they would be there by 1pm. Called again at 4pm. They have been busy, couldn't get there. Someone should be there soon. Finally car was towed at 430pm. Asked for a discount on the tow since they were so late. They said they didn't do discounts and the time they gave was only an estimate of time, not a for sure. If I had known that I would have called someone else. Luckily I got picked up by someone else so I was not sitting in a hot car all day. They obviously don't care about customer service, just your MONEY! Give your money to someone else!!! DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR BUSINESS. If I could give negative 5 stars, I would. My tow order was placed at 10:40 am. My girlfriend was waiting at the apartment for them. She got a call from insurance saying it will be approximately 3 hours or so. no big deal, at least they informed us. Didn't hear anything from them all day. I called back at 4:45PM, was placed on hold for a few minutes before an extremely rude man answered the phone. He then proceeded to lie to me, saying that I'm next on the list and they are on the way. USAA called multiple times to update saying that it is on the way. It is now 6PM and I'm still waiting to hear from them. The level of dishonesty and disrespect that these people show their customers is disgusting. I had no choice (because of roadside assistance) but I strongly suggest that you do not give them your money. read more
