They take into consideration your children's' dietary needs, religious practices and do their best accommodate parents overall. Andrea is the current director and is doing a great job with her leadership! One of the best educators works here as well; Patricia has a way with kiddos like I've never seen. Oh! It's situated on Indy's canal so the views inside of the infant room are so pretty and the bigger littles take walks/rides on the canal on a normal basis. Their recently renovated playground is perfectly tailored as well. Parking is on West St. & can get pretty congested but for safety reasons, this is the way it has to be. All in all, this childcare center has my trust & I'd recommend it time & time again.

I first tried Care.com and other online sitter search sites and found them time consuming and less than reassuring. I would be on my own for interviews and background checks--way too much work and expense for a one-time event. Luckily, I found Sitters to the Rescue and it was exactly what I was looking for. They have their own network of experienced, background-checked sitters, and the service contacted a sitter who met my specific needs (infant, Saturday night, etc.) They were very knowledgeable about setting up a sitter in a hotel room and anticipated needs I wouldn't have, like having the sitter check in at the front desk. When our awesome babysitter arrived I felt completely comfortable. The hourly rate was a little more than if I had found a sitter on my own, but considering it included the legwork it was a good deal. If we need a sitter in the Indianapolis area again, I will definitely be using Sitters to the Rescue.

When we walk in the door every morning, the positive energy is just exploding and the welcome from each and every employee is the best way to start our day. My son loves the teachers and thoroughly enjoys this facility. We toured several daycares when we were pregnant and found only two that we would even consider sending our child. I love that there are no screens for the kids, they have dedicated outdoor time everyday when the weather is nice, and there are cameras in the rooms for parents to peak in on their kids during the day. I never feel like we need the camera to make sure he's being treated correctly, but being able to see him playing and interacting with the other kids brings a lot of joy. The teachers send a daily report and there are nearly always photos. I'm so thankful we found such a wonderful place to provide childcare.

His lead and assistant teachers were consistent throughout the year (no constant turnover and drama like we experienced at his previous center). The classrooms were spacious and well-equipped, and also serves as an instructional center for IUPUI students studying early education. We especially liked the STEM program as the class progressed through multi-week thematic units based on the children's current interests (e.g. simple machines, dinosaurs, castles, camping). Students use a blend of technology and tactile materials and toys, and our son was even able to read and comprehend short stories before leaving for kindergarten. There are a number of ways for parents to get involved as the classrooms go on numerous field trips and the center hosts family events and open houses. Class updates and pictures are provided via the Tadpoles app throughout the week. Parent conferences are held twice a year. The center is professionally managed by IUPUI and a friendly, new, hands-on director was just hired in spring of 2019. We would recommend the center to anyone working, studying, or living in the downtown area.

You can also park in front for short periods to load/unload. - vending with soaps/drying stuff and food/drink - free restrooms for customers - tons of carts to use - all machines are either coin OR card. I noted that they were a plumber that…read morequalified for Yelp's guarantee program, a neat program that I've fortunately never had to use. I did my initial contact outside of business hours. Early the next morning, I had a message from Adam B. Once I got to work, I returned the call and quickly described my issue and what I believed it to be. The first available appointment wasn't until Monday (it wasn't urgent, so I wasn't worried about going the weekend). I got my timeframe. I had a couple other appointments that day, so I ended up taking the day off so I could easily be available. I immediately liked that they told me who would be arriving - AND that was who arrived. I also liked that they use a customer portal that allows you to have some security if you pay online or to review your records. Christian arrived (there was one other person with him). It took him a couple minutes to diagnose the issue he believed it to be, and it took him not a lot longer to determine that diagnosis correct. He quoted the price, I agreed, and he got to work. After finishing the work, he determined the original issue I'd believed it to be wasn't quite needing to be addressed (but will be in the near future). We discussed options, including ways I could save a bit. Christian was personable and explained things in a way I could understand. The issue was likely caused by me, but he managed to avoid using the word "idiot" at any point. The repair was done in a timely manner. The price ended up being a bit lower than quoted. I appreciated his honesty as he very easily could have pointed me toward a repair not needing done yet. It also became obvious the last person I'd used had really only done half the job. Everything has worked beautifully since Christian finished. There are likely a couple more projects I'll tackle in the near future, and I won't hesitate to return to Grateful Plumber. The housecall was $59, but that was credited toward the repair once I decided to have them do the work. Friendly employees. Good follow-through. Fair pricing. Quality work. Problem solved. That's 5-star for me and another winner for Yelp's project feature.

My father is in ICU, we had a plumbing issue and I called this company. They said they would send…read moresomeone out the next day. Meanwhile late in the day someone from my Dad's church volunteered to come and look at the issue. The issue is fixed. I called the grateful plumber as soon as I had a chance , because of everything that is going on. The voice mail said that cancellations done in less than 24 hours would still require the service fee. I left a message and cancelled the appointment then I get a text that their service guy is on his way. I called back and talked with the owner I'm assuming and he said he is charging us a service fee anyway. That it was too late to call off his guys and that they had been holding this spot for me. Terrible customer service and interaction.

Mike took a pair of shoes that were literally falling apart and brought them back to life, even better than before. These Footjoys look better than anything Footjoy sells these days! Mike did such a great job that I dropped off another pair when I picked up my last 2 pair. And I have about 3 more pairs of shoes that are in need of being recrafted, Cento Shoes will be wear I am taking them. The price is right at Cento Shoes and they carry all the good and necessary shoe care products to keep your shoes in great shape and well nourished. Jennifer who works in the front of the house is just amazing and super kind. She got me taken care of in no time and while I was there picking up my shoes I got some new socks and shoe care accessories too. Cento Shoes has been around longer than I have been alive and Mike Cento has the same passion for shoes that I do. Footwear is really important to me. I too love this school for my 1 year old daughter. She has adjusted since her start at the beginning of this year and is talking more and even can recite her ABCs and count to 20! I feel completely safe as the staff is very careful and the Director, even more so, with the caliber of people that she has hired. She takes her business seriously and does not tolerate any sort of misbehavior from her staff. She geniuinely cares about her staff and the children under her care. And this huge for me as well as I am sure it is for any parent. You definitely want to make sure that your children are receiving the highest level of care in the safest and friendliest environment as possible and this is definitely the place for it! read more

The staff were welcoming and gave us a tour. They shared the fact that they are open from 7 AM to 6 PM and you can drop off and pick up your child whenever you need to during that window. They also give you the option to do part time and pick the days you would like to attend. Each year, they offer two weeks of vacation where you can skip the tuition for that week. They also seem to have fun events like picture day, egg hunts, child recognition ceremonies, and more. We are happy we stumbled across this spot for our daughter.
