Found this place on Groupon & sooo glad that I did. Their prices beat NO ONE ELSE. Ladies, there full leg wax here is $22 .. where they do that at?! NO WHERE. Went in for a Brazilian($16 w/ Groupon but they offer same price in store), I used to work for EWC so of course I got any service you can think of there by some of the best waxers so I know how it's suppose to feel & the whole process. I'm used to the hard wax & was a little skeptical about trying the soft wax but I love it! Painless, quick & to me it pulled more of the rooted hair out. I don't understand the high ratings for this place. Went in for a Brazilian and it was probably the worst I've ever gotten. I had to keep holding myself so my hands were full of wax, she used the same applicator and kept dipping in the wax. She also used the same one strip of cloth, then handed me a wipe so I can clean myself. A cheap one at that so it didn't take any of the wax off. It was the most painful wax too I even bled and I've never had that happen. Left so many long strays I'm so glad this was not my first Brazilian or I would never get another read more

I came to Aby's salon because a friend of mine recommended it. I usually get my Brazilian waxes from a well-known chain that has a location close to my house so I was very skeptical about coming to this salon, however the $25 price for a full chocolate Brazilian wax is what lured me in. I must say this was the best Brazilian experience I've had. Maddie was quick, super sweet, her technique was on point and it was CHEAP (I usually pay $59 without tip included). This salon doesn't have any bells and whistles that a typical salon would have. It's very "hole in the wall-ish" but I thoroughly enjoyed my experience here and will make this my regular waxing spot. I also really liked that Maddie didn't force conversation during the waxing process like a lot of waxers do. If you are experienced with getting waxes I would highly recommend coming here. Only because if you are new to waxing it might be a little intense for you considering how quickly she works. I am usually swollen and throbbing after a Brazilian wax, however at Aby's afterwards it barely felt like had just gotten waxed. So glad I came here! read more

I bought a groupon from this place for a Brazilian wax for$16. I was like WOW that's super cheap! Let me go ahead and purchase. I purchased and made my appointment to go in the next day, the ladies were nice but the waxing service was horrible. They gave me this towel which I'm pretty sure was never washed because there was still wax and blood from another customer I'm guessing. This was my first time ever getting a Brazilian so I was extremely nervous. The lady didn't make me feel comfortable at all. I knew ahead of time it was supposed to hurt. I wasn't expecting to be bleeding after the procedure so I wasn't happy about that. And I still left with many large patches of hair. I went to get an eyebrow threading and all I can say is wow. I am so happy and impressed. I stopped getting it done because other places were reshaping my eyebrows to a shape I didn't like, so I just decided to do it at home. Well I went a little to long without tweezing and decided I'd give threading another try. Because of all the positive reviews I decided to give it a try and I am so glad I did. She kept MY shape and just cleaned up around my brows. I do notice a few hairs that should've been taken out now that I'm looking at them in the sunlight, but nobody is perfect. But these are damn near it even with the strays. Best of all, the threading is $5! I highly recommend this place for threading! read more

My visit was short and sweet - she left me alone in a room to undress and wrap myself in a terry cloth skirt with velcro. I enjoyed my first time there. It's a hidden little shop along Dulles Avenue. It's a small shop. No one answered the phone because they did not have a receptionist... which would be a good idea. Very reasonable in price. $22.00 for a full leg waxing. It is soft wax but I'm used to soft wax and never had too much of an issue with it. They only missed a tiny little spot, but I'm not bother by that at all. I'm just glad it's close by me, affordable, and fast. I found this place through Groupon and called to make an appointment. I hadn't bought the Groupon yet, but when I called I was offered the same price. Sooo $16 for a brazilian sounded like a great deal, nope WRONG! It was the most painful experience of my life. My hair was grown in after shaving and was a little under a quarter of an inch long. She used the same dip stick every time, so their wax is disgusting. Once I realized she was doing this, I asked her to stop. She wouldn't even though I kept squirming. She made a creepy cooing noise to stop me from moving and tears were rolling down my cheeks. She still wouldn't stop and continued to make the cooing noise. I bled everywhere, I didn't even let her get halfway done, IT HURT SO BADLY. I was sore for days after this and had a bad reaction to their wax. Nothing was put on to remove the excess wax that was all over the place. Also, she just kept yanking on the same spot because she consistently missed hairs. She didn't use any of the methods that I've experienced when I go to other wax centers. I would highly advise to AVOID a brazilian here at all costs! Save yourself the money and pain. Shave if you absolutely have to. read more
