I was scared to go here based on the reviews, but I'm okay mostly with this place, though I think they are a bit pricey for a decent, not luxury experience. I've brought my mom here, when she takes forever to pick a nail color, makes faces when they do an arm and back massage, and basically does crazy embarrassing old lady stuff like not being able to decide between two nude shades, because one might be too pink and the other might have too much shimmer. Not even glitter y'all, shimmer. Now that my friends is patience and quality service. When I've come here by myself to get pedicures, I haven't had too much of an issue. The ladies don't chat too much and it seems forced. It's different from my favorite place down in the Memorial City area, but it's okay. For full disclosure, my toenails have chipped after a pedicure, but I also have this great talent at bumping my toes to a sharp edge or object right after a pedicure. So I can't say comfortably, that it's them as I have that "talent". I like them. They're better than okay, but maybe not a place that I would call a favorite. I was pretty impressed walking in. The facility looked spacious and very clean. The lady Tina who handled my nails (dip) did a great job. Although I will point out that she should be more careful when filing. I had fake nails since I wanted them to look a tad bit longer... and the super glue stuck to my skin... as she started filing, she sanded into my skin. Leaving two cuts on my index fingers (yes both) Mary did my pedicure and she was oh so sweet and made my toes look and feel refreshed! I did a review a few weeks ago and spoke of how great my experience was too bad that didn't carry on to this appointment. First, I made a 9am appt I sat with the nail tech for over 30 minutes while she told me that the dip I had on my nails was not dip I politely told her I got these nails done here and registered when I came in maybe you could look up my previous service so we can speed this process along. Over 3 hours later I was gone. Within 30 min of my leaving my Gel nail was peeling I called, they told me to come back in which I couldn't do that day. I went back and not only did I need that nail repaired but another nail was pointed out to me that needed correction. I understand things happen but to spend $60 on nails that won't last a week is ridiculous. Went in today to get a refill. I originally got my nails done there and paid $45 for a powder set. Got a refill for $48. I feel played and my nails look bad. Don't get scammed like me. Why is the refill higher than a new set? She cut my finger and didn't apologize for it bleeding the work is spotty and everytime I go it's always something. I only came here cause it's by my house. Took her an hour to do my nails and for it to look like that!! The teaspoon of wax they put on your feet that sticks to your bag and not your feet. I been to cheaper nail shops that have better service for cheaper prices. I know a few people that go there and never get scammed, but I showed them the results and they couldn't believe it. This is by far the worst nail salon ever! I've been doing my nails for over 25yrs & never have four nails (dipped) broken within the same day. I got my nails done Friday 12/7 & I went back on Saturday 12/8 to fix the four chipped/broken nails. It's 12/9 & I have 3 chipped nails already. They skimp on everything and charge more than more qualified salons. The paraffin wax was a joke. My GF and I just looked at each other when they brought a plastic bag with barely a spoonful whereas the salon we normally go to massage your feet with the warm bag prior to application this was drying up before even applying. They offer pedicure with shoulder massage and that sucked too. So overall don't go here when we have better spots nearby. I wish I could have my money back because I'm going to have to go pay somewhere else to fix. I am known for ALWAYS having my nails done and this is not acceptable Taylor was super nice and pleasant but that's not the service I went in for so not enough for more stars. read more

I felt pressured to leave a tip and not even a week later, my nails are chipped and raised. My cuticles were overdone and now scabbing. My pedicure is peeling already. I'm kind of done with this place. I went in for a basic mani and pedi because that's all I trust them with at this point. The service is just basic. The colors are basic. They asked me if I wanted a drink. I asked for water and it never came. I asked them to cut my toes. They gave them the smallest trim ever and the cut is crooked. So my toe has a slant to the cut. They always leave the toe separater in which inevitably messes up at least 2 nails. They're constantly trying to up sell me. I've given them multiple chances because they are convenient but I'm done. Basic service is not worth the salon prices. I'll find another place. read more

Had a walk in at 4 pm on a Wednesday, started getting busy as it got closer to 5 pm. Signed in on n iPad in the front lobby which has a bunch of seating for waiting. Tina was very nice, gentle and made my first experience here great. I got shellac mani pedi for around $50. The neck massage felt awesome! They have complimentary drinks as well. Ask for Tina! Another lady did my toes, they don't look as nice as my hands but that's okay to me.. I would recommend this salon to anyone in the area, it's a clean and professional. Brought my mom for Mother's Day and we just happen to stop by since we were eating breakfast at the Avalon diner. The shop wasn't extremely busy which was a plus for a holiday weekend. The staff was very nice and very attentive. I thought the pricing was GREAT compared to other places. My mom got dip for the first time. I get dip a lot. I felt the nail tech didn't apply enough dip layers and my mom's dip color came out very opaque. However, I feel if we return, we can just request more dip layers. Wonderful nail salon! Form the moment I first called to make an appointment and to the end of my appointment, I was treated with professional and kind services. When I arrived I was cordially greeted and asked to pick out my polish colors. I was not rushed while I did this and that is always appreciated. There are many colors to choose from, as well. Another plus.. This location is clean. Even the foot bath was lined with a disposable liner which wa removed after my appointment ended. The nail tech who attended my pedicure wore gloves for the most part of the procedure and all instruments used for the mani/pedi were enclosed in sterile packaging. I chose the Pearl Spa pedi which was a completely relaxing experience (bless that hot stone massage!). For the mani, I chose a shellac/gel which I was and am very pleased with. The manicurist was consistent in asking me if everyththing was to my liking as she completed each step. The same can be said for the pedicurist. there are 2 stores in same fountains complex...the original --which is an average salon with friendly staff...and the newer version 2 doors down. [newer store more expensive] ive been going to the original salon for 7 years...ive had many tech's handle my services...all are good. the only thing i wish they would do is use plastic bags to eliminate "possible" bacterial problems associated with jet spas if not properly cleaned [i bring my own bacterial liquid that i got at sallys beauty supply & add to water each time] never had an issue thus far plz tip them at least 20% for their time...its a good service for less $$.. read more
