TERRIBLE SERVICE EXPERIENCE! I was told by a reputable auto service center that I needed a primary…read morecontrol module updated or replaced and had to go to the dealer because only the dealer could program a PCM. The reputable car repair shop diagnosed the issue and explained the solution. I provided Hertrich the diagnostic paperwork with the codes, the Dodge Ram service bulletin that described the problem and how to diagnose it and the technicians notes with the corresponding voltage readings. Service manager looked at everything and told me not to leave it because he didn't want to "lead" his technician toward a particular problem. He also said in his experience, it was the oil pump. I told him I wasn't paying for another diagnostic if it was the PCM because I already paid for that once and if it were something else then okay. It was the PCM exactly as I had been told by the reputable service center. When I picked up the truck, I asked why I was being charged $200 for another diagnostic when I had provided the diagnostic report, the service bulletin and the voltage readings confirming the PCM as the problem. He said, "W don't accept outside diagnostics." He refused to deduct the $200 diagnostic which consists of hooking up a computer to a plug and waiting 90 seconds for the reading. I had stopped servicing my truck there several years ago but had no choice since they are the only Ram dealer in town. DO NOT BUY OR SERVICE HERE!

Financing was actually impressive as I was told that the rate I had been quoted from my initial financial group was going to be .75 higher than what they were able to find for me. Winning!! She bought a car in June and has had nothing but issues with it. Windows were finally fixed but I guess the check engine light was just reset because she ended up having to put a new motor in the vehicle. Our mechanic said there is no way they weren't aware of the engine problems. One of my daughter's visits to the dealership resulted in her being told to leave the property and left her sobbing. She couldn't understand why they would treat her this way. She went from being proud to be able to finance her own car to embarrassed that she got taken advantage of. They have basically called her a liar and put down our mechanic. They were not good at returning phone calls or following up in regards to the tags for the vehicle and the issues they agreed to fix. Once she bought the car and it was in her possession they did not show any respect or empathy for the issues she was having. They had no desire to even offer to help with any of the expenses of the repairs. If you buy from them I would HIGHLY recommend you have your mechanic check it out from top to bottom before signing anything.
