Had a brief business trip downtown. The hotel is centrally located in downtown. The hotel is a quick walk to the light rail from the airport (Westlake Station near hotel). Room is vintage and the whole building has a historic feel. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Plenty of outlets (mostly along the floor boards). WiFi worked great. The bar in the lobby (Oscar's) was great. Cool atmosphere and affordable snacks and cocktails.

    Nice products.

What a great hotel in a great location! We walked to monorail, shopping, restaurants and Pike Place Market. All are within 15 to 20 minutes, depending on your pace. We arrived early and they were kind enough to hold our luggage while we walked about and checked out Pike Place Market for a few hours. When we returned, we retrieved our luggage and check in was a breeze. The room was comfy and well appointed. Coffee maker, mini fridge, bar glassware. The sofa could have used cleaning or updating but we never used it. The bathroom also offered nice products. Enjoyed breakfast downstairs at "Oliver's" one morning. It was a much larger portion than expected and delicious. No fancy coffee but sometimes it's humbling...and guess what...it was hot and tasty!

Mayflower Park Hotel is in a fantastic location in Downtown Seattle, especially for what we wanted to do during our time there! We only had a one night stay here last week in order to catch a Mariners game and visit the famous Pike Park Market (The fish market). (+) Fantastic location! You are in a very short walking distance to food options, a CVS, and a light rail station! The light rail made it VERY easy and convenient to go to and from the Mariners game for only $3 each! What a bargain! Plus, we took the light rail straight from SeaTac Airport to the stop that was a 3-minute walk to our hotel for just $3 each! Sweet! Plus, from our hotel to the Ball Park and back was only $2.25 each (each way)! On top of all of that, you are literally a 7-minute walk to Pike Place Market! (+) The hotel is an older, historic hotel! It had a lot of old school charm to it and I'm so glad I didn't necessarily go with one of its newer and glossier counterparts. (+) Service was very good! From the doorman to the front desk, everyone was so friendly and helpful! (+) I am very happy with the room we had there. We had a room with 2 Queen beds, but also 2 full sized bathrooms! This was tremendously convenient! The room was clean, well-stocked (plenty of full-sized towels!) , and on a high floor. It also came with a fantastic view of Downtown Seattle! Since our visit was brief, I was not able to enjoy Olivers, but we loved our time in Seattle so much, I can see us visiting Olivers next time! I would absolutely recommend the Mayflower Park Hotel for its fantastic location and great service in the heart of Seattle! 4 solid stars!

made a return visit to Seattle to visit friends and was very pleased with my stay at the Mayflower. I chose a corner suite, which was perfect for a four night stay. The suite was spacious, like a small apartment (without the kitchen). Bed was very comfortable. There was plenty of hot water, even on the 12th floor. I love the ambiance of this historic hotel. The service was, for the most part, excellent. Housekeeping, doormen, restaurant staff were all warm and welcoming. The only exception was a couple of staff at, of all places, reception. Upon check in Ashley seemed almost sullen. She mumbled, did not smile and there was no sense of being welcomed to the hotel. On check out there was a similar experience with the man at the desk. I did not get his name as, oddly, staff do not wear name tags. I will say that Steven, the manager was very nice and helpful. The hotel takes security seriously as a key card is needed to access the elevator and all floors. Main access has 24 hour staff. The fitness center has two bikes, a treadmill, elliptical, bench, some free weights and a yoga mat. Small, but serviceable. As others have mentioned the location is very walkable to Pike Market and the waterfront. There are only a few breakfast restaurants in the area and most are very busy.

We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the hotel and the care of the staff. Our room was clean well deck and had a good view. They took good care of our car and charged us $56 a day. It took them 15 minutes to go get our car but they warned us when we dropped it off This place is well located close to the train They gave complimentary umbrellas on rainy days, I liked that. We normally stay the Westin but found the Mayflower to be cheaper but just as nice.

My wife and I truly enjoyed our stay here and to this day she rants and raves about the pillows they have. This historic building holds quite a bit of history and the location is perfect for walking just about anywhere. Every bit of service from the valet to the front desk was outstanding. I definitely would stay again and I would stick with the king-sized suite once again. Check out the on-site restaurants as you will be pleasantly surprised by the selections and flavors.

Appreciate the well lit hallway and quiet surroundings (6/27/21)

Remember the Heat Dome Hell that descended upon the Pacific NW? Well it felt like the effing center of the sun and I was able to snag one of the last remaining greater Seattle reservations for an air con getaway back on 6/27/21 to 6/29/21. I tried as far north to Lynnwood and Bothell, east to Bellevue, south towards the airport, and west to the Kitsap Peninsula. I'm recalling this as I belatedly post this five months later to the day. Now why would a local resident want to stay at the Mayflower Park Hotel in downtown Seattle? Well my townhouse gets both AM/PM sun and being well insulated retains mega heat. The thought of being over 100F overnight and without AC - um, nope. No luck trying to even find an AC unit from any of the hardware or box stores. Box fans rigged up as swamp coolers didn't help much. Normally, it would be delightful to be in downtown Seattle. But the pandemic coupled with this rare extreme heat wave, pretty much shuttered most of the retailers, businesses, and restaurants within a wide radius from the hotel. Even Pike Place Market was pretty much shutdown at the time. Andaluca (onsite restaurant) wasn't an option. Both Oliver's (onsite bar) and room service were overwhelmed. It was helpful that the food court in nearby Westlake Center, Buffalo Wild Wings, and Bartell Drugs remained open. I can say that the hotel staff that I interacted at the time with were amazing. Considering the re-emergence from full on pandemic closures and now dealing with the sudden influx of guests during this heat wave, kudos to the entire hotel staff! The Mayflower Park Hotel is centrally located at 4th and Olive in the downtown retail core where main access points were both clean and secure. Valet parking was available at the time, but I had parked in nearby Belltown on Sunday and commuted to/from via Metro on the other days. The actual hotel room in this older, historical building was clean, comfortable, and safe. I was thankful for creature comforts including useful internet access (was able to work remotely), a mini fridge, and of course, air conditioning! Hopefully five months later, more normalcy has returned to the Mayflower Park Hotel. But this snapshot from late June 2021, this home away from home was spot on awesome and greatly appreciated!

The location was one of the biggest highlights. We were able to walk to many of Seattle's popular attractions, including Pike Place Market, the waterfront piers, the Space Needle, Pacific Science Center, Chihuly Garden and Glass, Seattle Aquarium, and plenty of restaurants and coffee shops nearby. It made exploring the city easy without needing to drive. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The bed was especially cozy, and after long days of sightseeing, it was nice to come back and relax. The staff were friendly, helpful, and made check-in and check-out quick and hassle-free. One feature we really enjoyed was the complimentary afternoon pineapple treats and coffee, along with the hotel's cheerful atmosphere. It added a little extra touch that made our stay memorable. If you're looking for a centrally located hotel with comfortable accommodations, friendly service, and easy access to Seattle's top attractions, Staypineapple Hotel FIVE is a great choice. We would definitely stay here again on a future visit to Seattle.

The staff definitely leave something to be desired. I found them a mixture of condescending and rude. We requested early check in and where informed our room was not ready. Than watched them check in couple after couple. 2.5 hours later we got our early check in. A whole 15 minutes early. This was after it supposedly took them 45 minutes to clean the room. Now on to the room. The room was modestly sized with furniture shoved into every available space. The floors are plastic and cold. TV lost connection no less than 5 times forcing us to miss a few minutes of the show to reboot it. The best part was the bed. Very comfy bed. The comforters they provide are not designed for tall people though. The bathroom was not great. The shower is small with a temp control that sticks causing jumps in water temp. From luke warm to scalding quickly. For men beware the toilet. The water level is so high if you have to sit down to potty you will need to squat or parts might find themselves taking a swim in murky waters if you know what i mean. I would have normally told the staff all of this but the icy frosting on this stay was check out where the staff gave no greeting, didn't ask how the stay was or even express any positive sentiment towards us. In a city full of places to stay don't be fooled by there advertised low price. You end up with a low price experience for a high price in your check book.

One of the best surprises was that our room was ready much earlier than expected. I was fully prepared to just drop off my bags and wait until the standard check-in time, so being able to settle in right away was a huge win. It featured a huge soaking tub that I absolutely took full advantage of, and it even came with bath salts, which was such a nice touch. I'm usually not overly picky when it comes to hotel bathrooms, but I do love a separate stand-up shower and bathtub setup. It just adds a level of comfort and luxury that makes a stay feel extra special. The service was also fantastic. Everyone we encountered--from the front desk team to room service--was friendly, welcoming, and professional. Overall, this was a wonderful stay and a great start to our international trip. Finally, after a very long wait we were given keys to our room. I asked about any type of breakfast or happy hour. They don't offer any of that. The room has no little refrigerator other than a cooler drawer filled with outrageously priced snacks and alcohol. Good thing we didn't have medications that needed refrigeration. There's no microwave. There's no condiments for coffee or tea. There's a Nespresso maker for those people who enjoy Nespresso. I'm not one who particularly enjoys Nespresso. We did try the restaurant (All Water) both for dinner and brunch the next day. Service was very slow unfortunately for the restaurant (it took 1.5 hours while the restaurant wasn't busy, and they did forget our side of grilled broccolini until after we finished our meals/reminded them). We tried the tuna hamachi crudo, clams and mussels, roasted hen of the woods and grilled broccolini. The tuna hamachi crudo was good, though I was hoping for more brightness in the flavor. I enjoyed the clams and mussels as well as the roasted hen of the woods overall, but felt the grilled broccolini was a little too dry (seemed grilled without any oil or seasoning). We did also try a few seasonal mocktails which were delicious and the highlight of the meal. Brunch the next day was take out and we went with a steak and eggs and a caesar salad. Both were solid, but note that the caesar salad came with actual little sardines, so for those picky eaters, this may be a bit much.

The provided shampoo, conditioner, soap, and lotion worked well and had a nice light citrusy scent. There was a Keurig machine in the room; not my jam but helpful in a pinch. We always got stocked with dark roast coffee pods, which is my preference, whoo. Also an empty mini fridge which we were able to use for beverages and leftovers. The 7th floor has a nice little seating area outside the bar where I was able to get some quiet work done one weekday, and the outdoor terrace offers a mountain view on clear days. The fitness center is small: just two treadmills, one recumbent bike, an elliptical, a peloton, and many dumbbells, but I had no problem getting a treadmill run in each morning before 9 am. The temperature controls worked great, the bed was very comfortable and had an adequate number of pillows, the bathroom was well-appointed, and everything was very clean. The bath towels were large, soft, and plush. The frosted door to the water closet was a nice touch for the sake of privacy if you were sharing the space with someone. The shower was not huge but it was more than adequately spacious for me. There were 2 robes hung in the bathroom (though I didn't use them). The small table and chairs near the window were convenient and comfortable to work from. The view from my room was very nice, especially during clear days when you can see the water and the mountains in the distance. The room was always well maintained after the typical morning cleaning as well as during turn down service. I appreciated the staff placing slippers by the bed and how they always nicely arranged my toiletries in the bathroom, replaced used towels with fresh ones, and even placed things on the table in the bedroom (like my charger, earbud case, eyeglass case, and so on) neatly for when I returned. The bar area at the back of the restaurant was a nice little area and had a table large enough for our group of around 8-10 to comfortably sit at while enjoying a nightcap. My breakfast the day I checked out was also high quality and my server Nathan was pleasant, timely, and honest about prep time of some items I wanted to order but was constricted due to a time crunch. In general, every staff member I encountered was pleasant, eager to help, and always smiled and made eye contact when speaking with me. All in all, I had a wonderful experience and have no complaints. This property is one of the top 2-3 Four Seasons hotels I have stayed at over the past several years. I would wholeheartedly stay here again!

Hats off and compliments to the Four Seasons Seattle staff and management! My family had a…read morespectacular experience for 3 nights as we explored Seattle prior to hopping on an Alaskan cruise. This hotel is an excellent choice for those wanting to stay in a waterfront property that's walkable to the cruise terminal as well. Though Four Seasons is not the most cost effective option for a comfortable hotel in downtown Seattle, I highly recommend this hotel based on my recent experience in June 2025. Where to start.... Location, location, location! The hotel is literally a block away from the entrance to Pike Place Market where you can spend days shopping, snacking, and enjoying the views of the water. The views from the hotel room are breathtaking as the Great Wheel (Ferris wheel) and Aquarium are just a few minutes away by foot. From the Four Seasons, we were able to walk to Chinatown in under 30 min (you can also take the train just 2 stops down) and Seattle Center where the Space Needle is located is also walkable and also accessible via monorail. The staff greets you at the door every time you enter and exit, and the lobby is full of surprises like premium coffee and tea in the mornings and a candy bar in the afternoon. Every time our room was serviced, it was done to perfection and then some. The chat function on the app was amazing as I was able to make requests and ask questions with ease. Responses were close to immediate. At the front desk and concierge, staff are also very friendly and treated us with respect and honor. They also provided great advice for food and sightseeing options close by. They never tried to sell me stuff where they would make money off of it. I could go on and on, but I have to say that my family's experience was extremely memorable, and if I could give this place 6 stars, I would. If you're looking for the optimal location for breathtaking views, seconds away from Pike Place Market, and still walkable to the Space Needle, Chinatown, the Convention Center, etc., this is it, y'all!
