Our home away from home for the next two days ! Manny checked us in with speed and professionalism. Answered all our questions and smiled the entire time. Building clean and clear of clutter. It has a vintage or aged look . Fireplace sets the room for great ambiance. Elite restaurant attached for dining experience. Nice wine collection . Parking has a fee (fyi) Rooms and hallways were clean . Staff was friendly in passing. My room had a great city view. Very spacious. Bed comfortable. Refrigerator is in room . You can walk to pike market and surrounding areas but we Ubered the majority of the time and walked when we could. Tip: if you have bad legs, feet or back I suggest not walking. It's alot of steep hills which means incline is worst coming up. 18 min to the airport. Great stay !

I was shocked at how expensive hotels have gotten on the Eastside and found Hotel Vintage to be a better price... Check-in was very professional, the Valet was courteous, and the room was lovely with a view of trees and the iconic Seattle library. The room was large, with a slightly tired, or dare I say vintage sofa, but a very comfortable bed. Like all Kimpton properties, there is a yoga mat in the closet & there is room here to comfortably put it out & use it. Only complaint was the bathroom is pretty small, which matches the size of the in-room TV. Oh, and for July, their AC rocked: room was 65 when we walked in & a delightful surprise after a sweaty day in Seattle. Would definitely return.

DO NOT STAY HERE. We chose Kimpton Hotel Vintage Seattle specifically because it advertises itself as dog-friendly, which made what happened during our stay extremely disappointing. We left our two dogs in the room briefly while we went out to eat -- something that is commonly allowed at Kimpton properties and was not clearly communicated as prohibited at check-in. Shortly after, we received texts from the front desk saying our "pets miss you," which quickly escalated to being told there had been "multiple complaints" and that we would need to find another hotel. ( photo of text below). All of these horrible interactions were with Tyne, front desk employee. When we asked for clarification, we were told the dogs were barking, were threatened with security involvement, and were refused access to the pet waiver we signed. We were also told that leaving dogs unattended was not allowed -- which directly contradicts Kimpton's dog-friendly policies and our prior experiences at other Kimpton hotels. What made this situation worse was that we repeatedly asked to speak with a manager and Tyne told us we were not allowed to do so. Being asked to leave mid-stay without being shown the policy we allegedly violated, and without access to management, was upsetting and unprofessional. If you're traveling with pets, be aware that "dog-friendly" here may come with unclear rules, inconsistent enforcement, and no escalation path. I expected much better from a Kimpton property.

The staff was incredibly friendly, and the rooms were very spacious with a charming vibe that falls somewhere between vintage and cute. Everything about the stay was wonderful -- especially the happy hour with wine and snacks, which was such a great perk and really added to the experience. The only downside was the street noise, which was quite loud at times. Other than that, everything was amazing and I'd absolutely stay here again.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel the night before a cruise. It was in a great location, and we really enjoyed our stay here. The bed was comfortable, and the room was nice. They left two bottles of water for us in the room, which was a nice touch. The best part was the complimentary Happy Hour in the lobby from 5 to 6 pm. They served both red and white wines. They also served delicious appetizers from Tulio, their on-site Italian restaurant. One appetizer was caramelized onions on focaccia bread and the other was prosciutto on focaccia bread. The one with the caramelized onions was to die for! They were very generous with their pours, and you could go back for more as often as you want. We met some really great people and chatted with them the whole time. They charge a $26 "guest amenities fee" that includes a $10 credit from their snack bar. The only problem is that they are out of just about everything. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay here again if we are in Seattle.

Kimpton Hotel Vintage is in the heart of downtown within walking distance to Pikes Market and the Landing that has all kinds of things to see and do. It's a very pretty hotel with a restaurant inside of the hotel and with my stay we were given a 10 dollar a day voucher to use at the restaurant or for snacks that the hotel offer, they also have free wine from 5 to 6pm. We had the city view and although the room was pretty I myself would not get the city view again, we heard cars honking and engines roaring and saw headlights all night. I will say it's a good location and pretty.

STAY AWAY!! We stayed here for one night on my birthday. I asked the long hair reception dude if he could help make it special or do a complimentary upgrade to a room. His response was cold and unhelpful with a "I don't give a damn" attitude. Absolutely no customer service etiquette. I highly doubt the hotel was fully booked. And guess what? He assigned us a room on level 2 which is street level. Thanks a lot Tarzan for making it memorable. To classify yourself as a 4 star hotel maybe provide your guests with at least clean and non ripped sheets. Even the bath towels were mismatched. This hotel is in desperate need of an upgrade but I guess they have to live up to their "vintage" name. Oh and they only provided one robe when the booking is for double occupancy. Such a joke. I would never return or recommend this hotel. They nickel and dime you for everything. Resort fee is $30 and that doesn't include Wi-Fi (extra $13/day). Valet parking is $60/day which is extremely steep. To the reviewer who claimed there is a 50% discount if you drive an electric car, shame on you for spreading lies. There is no such truth or unless the hotel staff is incompetent and don't know their own policy. You can self park across the street for $45/day.

I spent one night at this hotel, and it was a nice enough experience. The hotel is convenient to (though quite uphill from) the Symphony light rail station and is an easy walk from other downtown locations, including the Paramount Theatre. My stay was so short that I didn't get to experience much of the hotel, but the front desk staff at check-in and check-out were friendly and pleasant, and I felt welcomed. My room was on the third floor and was exposed to a lot of traffic noise, though thankfully this died down at night and did not disturb my sleep. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, but the bathroom is in need of an update, with outdated shower fixtures and an overall lack of polish that you would expect of a hotel of this level. My stay here was fine, and I'd stay here again--though I may consider other options next time, especially since I paid an amenity fee that I didn't make use of at all.

I love a Kimpton when I travel. And this one is mostly conveniently located to Lumen Field, if you want to walk to and from an event. I say "mostly" because there's a wicked hill on the way back The view from the 11th floor was beautiful. The king room was large, with a plush purple velvet sofa. I would love it if the bathroom was more well lit, but it's a great size. After enjoying a night of music and walking back, the bed felt exceedingly good! I greatly appreciate that the alarm clock light can be turned off. Valet service was quick and friendly, even though the line coming in must have been a bit overwhelming. Can't wait to stay here again!

9th floor room at Kimpton Hotel Vintage Seattle, November 2023

I took a little solo-cation to Seattle, Washington over Veteran's Day weekend 2023 and booked a two night stay in a premium room at this Kimpton using IHG points. My 9th floor room (Maghee) was fantastic - really large with a sofa bed, desk, and king size comfortable bed. I believe the "vintage" in the name is on par with the wine theme throughout the restaurant. I have stayed at about half dozen Kimptons now and am a Platinum IHG member. Unfortunately it was this particular hotel as a whole that left much to be desired. Upon checkin and throughout my stay, I found the front desk employees to be less than welcoming. The lobby area was so, so, so small and the coffee ran out in the mornings yet the employee took her sweet time refilling it. The "gym" was the size of a closet and, what I was most looking forward to - the plant pal program - was done with zero enthusiasm by the employees. In terms of dining options, Tulio is an Italian restaurant attached to the hotel. I narrowly got the sweet potato gnocchi to go one afternoon moments before they closed. Speaking of Tulio, when I asked the front desk where the postcards were (a postcard writing station is a staple at many of the Kimptons I've stayed at), they gave me a Tulio postcard... so disappointing. Decent location and yes of course they do the happy hour in the small lobby nightly at 5pm. I did not attend but I did pass through one night on my way to dinner and it was packed to say the least. Whenever I return to Seattle I will look into staying at the other Kimptons in the area or return to the Fairmont. There are plenty of nice hotels in this area with larger lobby spaces and better amenities.

Than watched them check in couple after couple. 2.5 hours later we got our early check in. A whole 15 minutes early. This was after it supposedly took them 45 minutes to clean the room. Now on to the room. The room was modestly sized with furniture shoved into every available space. The floors are plastic and cold. TV lost connection no less than 5 times forcing us to miss a few minutes of the show to reboot it. The best part was the bed. Very comfy bed. The comforters they provide are not designed for tall people though. The bathroom was not great. The shower is small with a temp control that sticks causing jumps in water temp. From luke warm to scalding quickly. For men beware the toilet. The water level is so high if you have to sit down to potty you will need to squat or parts might find themselves taking a swim in murky waters if you know what i mean. I would have normally told the staff all of this but the icy frosting on this stay was check out where the staff gave no greeting, didn't ask how the stay was or even express any positive sentiment towards us. In a city full of places to stay don't be fooled by there advertised low price. You end up with a low price experience for a high price in your check book.

Finally, after a very long wait we were given keys to our room. I asked about any type of breakfast or happy hour. They don't offer any of that. The room has no little refrigerator other than a cooler drawer filled with outrageously priced snacks and alcohol. Good thing we didn't have medications that needed refrigeration. There were some minor issues with the hotel charges, but staff was quick to help us sort it out during check-out. The check-in was a bit inconsistent though, as another group in our party got free vouchers to Smith Tower, but our room did not. They are now under Hyatt group, so if you have loyalty status with Hyatt, make sure to let them know during check-in. The room itself was nice and spacious. Bed and bedding was comfortable although the pillows were very flat. The bathroom had a huge window but there was an automated privacy shade. The bathroom also had plenty of counter space, with a separate shower from the huge soaking tub. The tub design was a bit weird in that the water comes out of the ceiling... so just be prepared that it does splash all over. Our room did not have a view (we got an east-facing room which literally is a view of another building's windows), but it did keep the room cool. Location was nice and walkable to all nearby Seattle attractions, very easy to get to Pike Place and Westlake Station. The hotel has a spa and small gym on the basement level, plus a golf simulator (that we did not try). The Rosebay bar was very pleasant (we got drinks and a snack) and the bartender was very friendly and attentive. The breakfast at All Water was disappointing though - both the service and food were mediocre for the price they charge - and we wouldn't recommend it. Nonetheless, the hotel stay itself was pleasant and I would recommend the hotel itself, location was excellent. Staff was friendly and I would come back to stay here again when visiting Seattle.

The temperature controls worked great, the bed was very comfortable and had an adequate number of pillows, the bathroom was well-appointed, and everything was very clean. The bath towels were large, soft, and plush. The frosted door to the water closet was a nice touch for the sake of privacy if you were sharing the space with someone. The shower was not huge but it was more than adequately spacious for me. There were 2 robes hung in the bathroom (though I didn't use them). The small table and chairs near the window were convenient and comfortable to work from. The view from my room was very nice, especially during clear days when you can see the water and the mountains in the distance. The room was always well maintained after the typical morning cleaning as well as during turn down service. I appreciated the staff placing slippers by the bed and how they always nicely arranged my toiletries in the bathroom, replaced used towels with fresh ones, and even placed things on the table in the bedroom (like my charger, earbud case, eyeglass case, and so on) neatly for when I returned. The bar area at the back of the restaurant was a nice little area and had a table large enough for our group of around 8-10 to comfortably sit at while enjoying a nightcap. My breakfast the day I checked out was also high quality and my server Nathan was pleasant, timely, and honest about prep time of some items I wanted to order but was constricted due to a time crunch. Location, location, location! The hotel is literally a block away from the entrance to Pike Place Market where you can spend days shopping, snacking, and enjoying the views of the water. The views from the hotel room are breathtaking as the Great Wheel (Ferris wheel) and Aquarium are just a few minutes away by foot. From the Four Seasons, we were able to walk to Chinatown in under 30 min (you can also take the train just 2 stops down) and Seattle Center where the Space Needle is located is also walkable and also accessible via monorail. The staff greets you at the door every time you enter and exit, and the lobby is full of surprises like premium coffee and tea in the mornings and a candy bar in the afternoon. Every time our room was serviced, it was done to perfection and then some. The chat function on the app was amazing as I was able to make requests and ask questions with ease. Responses were close to immediate. At the front desk and concierge, staff are also very friendly and treated us with respect and honor. They also provided great advice for food and sightseeing options close by. They never tried to sell me stuff where they would make money off of it. I could go on and on, but I have to say that my family's experience was extremely memorable, and if I could give this place 6 stars, I would. If you're looking for the optimal location for breathtaking views, seconds away from Pike Place Market, and still walkable to the Space Needle, Chinatown, the Convention Center, etc., this is it, y'all!
