Dr. Sykes is very personable and attentive. He was able to find the right type of contact lens for reading and distance so I don't have to wear my wear my readers on the top of my head anymore. My husband goes here as well and they were very patient with teaching him how to use contact lenses. I like that it's smaller and patient-focused-not like the huge doc in a box places. I went for an eye exam, and told Dr. Bakir afterwards that I would not be purchasing my progressive glasses there, that I tended to use Zenni because of being on a strict budget. She didn't seem too pleased, but gave me my prescription. Later as I went to order on Zenni, I noticed that she put for my ADD/reading level a level higher than what I use daily. I paused but thought well, she is the trained licensed professional, so went ahead and put the numbers she had written in on my order. I got my order from Zenni and the glasses were completely unusable due to her mistake. I contacted her twice via email (she has always been lightning fast responsive previously) and she did not ever bother to respond. So I am not only out of $120 for an incorrect eye exam, I am also out the $ for the progressives I cannot use- and did not even get the consideration of her response to help me resolve her mistake so I could have a pair of usable updated glasses. Like, I get that mistakes can be made- but when you make a mistake providing a service that negatively impacts your customer, you should be good enough to fix it. So yeah, terrible, terrible experience.

I came here to get my eye exam updated. I wasn't sure what my insurance would cover, so I wanted to…read morego somewhere that had reasonable out of pocket prices just in case. I needn't have worried, though, because they told me as soon as I arrived that the visit was covered (except for eye dilation) which I said I was okay with. The receptionist was friendly and answered all my questions. We did the imaging quickly, and then I only waited around 2 minutes before the eye doctor came to get me. She was kind, professional, and competent. Even though I hadn't had my pupils dilated, she said they were naturally big enough that she could take a look too (no charge). I was glad she did, because she saw what she thought was a "freckle" on my retina. So, in addition to getting my glasses prescription updated, she instructed me to come back in 3 months for a repeat exam. I just came back to do the repeat exam this week. I didnt need to make an extra appointment or call ahead, I just walked in, got the imaging done, and was out within probably 7 minutes total! Really convenient. I feel I've received excellent care and can't recommend this place enough!

I have been wearing gas permeable (hard) lenses for 50 years, and she switched me to soft lenses that would correct my astigmatisms. The first pair worked pretty well, and were very comfortable. However these lenses did not fit tight enough to keep them centered on my pupils - causing the focus to go in and out during the day during the past 6 weeks. She took the time to re-examine my eyes today, tweaked the power, and prescribed another brand that seems to be more stable on my eyes.
