People took really good care of me, gave me privacy and also attention, and were generally really supportive and skilled. My surgeon was awesome and has been following up with me since my return to Boston. During my overnight stay, the food was a highlight - even getting seafood chowder for lunch! If you have to come here, know you're in good hands.

Apparently one of the screws holding my lenses in their frame decided to take a permanent side trip and this morning one lense popped out. I could find no relief in Bar Harbor and called Dr. Albert's office. They said come by and they would see what they could do. Although they appeared to be busy when I showed up they immediately knew who I was and said "Sit down and relax and we will take a look". I had only a few minutes to "relax" before they fixed my glasses but during that time I looked around. My impression was that this office was very well organised/run and the ladies that helped me were courteous and obviously competent. Also, there was a large display area for frames, etc. so that patients would have a big selection to choose from. To top if off they would not accept any payment. Don't know what to think of this place. My Son has a mental dissability that's a bit obvious, He…read morehas had dental work prior. He came in today to have full mouth extractions , they decided to refuse Him because He wanted to be sedated and they don't sedate. He has also had a abscess tooth infection but Brandy said it wasn't acute. I've talked to several People who asked if they did blood work , I said no. They said she cannot determine the the severity without exrays and blood work. I didn't go in as I should of , it was said He tried to manipulate staff by wanting to be sedated. He wasn't combative just obviously mentally confused. Now they don't want to deal with Him unless He has a full consult and refuse to give Him antibiotics for infection. Something isn't right with this and I'm thinking mayby its a blessing in disguise. I left there confused cause He did come back in but they treated Him like He was a Alien I already mentioned He was mentally challenged ,Brandy said He was highly intelligent , not sure what that's sapose to mean either. The experience has left Me feeling numb. Oh and I was advised to take Him to Presquile to Dr Ford,1 Dr Ford has passed away several years ago. SMH!!
