Came here for the first time since covid. We usually frequent this place a lot but haven't recently. We stopped in tonight and there was hand sanitizer, plenty of cleaning supplies and tables were distanced. Free chips and salsa are still served and the food was good as always. Takeout is also an option. Menu is condensed a little bit but still has quite a variety. Would definitely return for either takeout or another sit down meal.

I'll pass on the toothpick, thanks.

Great food and drinks. Enjoyed our time there. Wonderful drink recipes. Good service. I believe that it is family run.

Review by SoldByMarvin.com First time in Canada and this restaurant did not disappoint. We crossed…read morethe border from Detroit, which we were today years old when we found out that you could reach Canada specifically Windsor Canada, which is where this place is located by taking a five minute drive either across a bridge or underground. Her waitress was super pleasant and she explained to us the options as this was a 100% plant based and one thing about being in a Canadian Restaurant is you have to be aware of exchange rates and the waitress was very helpful in providing that information. The ambience of the restaurant was very nice and our food came out within about 15 minutes of our order which was great. I went with the plant-based Gyro, which used wheat gluten for the lamb meat and the taste was spot on compared to when I used to eat that type of lifestyle. Our daughter got tofu tacos, which were flavored very well and my wife got the jackfruit tacos, which she enjoyed. Pricing for the three of us was not bad at all, especially with the exchange rate and we will definitely be back. This place is great for families. Staff are very friendly and the food was definitely on point flavor wise.

The tacos had waayyyyy too much sauce (and I love sauce), the poutine fries didn't have enough sauce, the lasagna soup was way too sweet, but the chicken sandwich and cookies were excellent! I would usually round up on my rating, but the service was quite slow and we were the only ones in there.. I would definitely go back to try it again, however, wouldn't be my first choice.

This is probably the best and most Authentic Indian food in Windsor…read more It's a take out place only, and you'll have to call ahead with ideally 1 hours worth of time before you want to have your meal, but it's fresh, tasty and delicious. I've had vegetarian options, including paneer curry. I've had the shrimp dish, and a karahi chicken and they were all pretty good! It tastes delicious and fresh. I'm sure they will cater to your spice level if you tell them. With a little preplanning, you'll have a delicious indian meal in Windsor that you can enjoy at home!

I found this place on Yelp with some good reviews, so I decided to give it a shot. When I called in…read moremy order, they told me that they were busy and it would be a while before my food was ready. I was okay with that, so the lady on the phone said she'd call when my food was ready (which she did). I picked up my food and saw that the place was quite small. They only had a bar as a eating area and the bar had only 3 or 4 seats. It looked like they may be remodeling, but there definitely isn't much sitting room. On to the food.... I like that they offer a good variety on their menu. I chose to get the shrimp makhani. They asked how spicy I'd like it and I said as hot as possible. With the 1st bite, I realized that they had gave me all of the heat that I could handle. The food was SPICY just how I like it. The sauce was spicy but also really good. The shrimp was a little overcooked for me, but didn't affect the flavor at all. I wish I had a little more rice to go with the shrimp makhani, but overall it was a good experience.

I had to use the men's bathroom, the women's is down and locked. Ok…read more It's quite cold inside the dining area. 3 sides are all windows. It's quiet inside. I am the only customer inside for lunch today. Some food delivery pick-ups and the DoorDash ding going off in the background. Ordered the molokhia soup, lentil soup, combo mazza with fattoush less pita instead of the salata masria, feteer chicken shawarma and side of falafel. $49.78 They are out of the Fakhfakhina drink, sounds interesting with the strawberries, ice cream, sounds kind of like a float. I couldn't try a taste of the molokhia soup to see if it would be good or not. I have no idea what Jute is, had to look it up. It's a green leaf soup. I went with the feteer chicken since it's a light breading vs the hawashi. The lentil is extremely runny, doesn't taste as expected, rather subtle flavors, mostly bland. Some rice as filler. Comes in a small cup. The falafels are shaped like small donuts, they are crispy, but the inside is soft. They aren't too bad, just mostly taste the oil from the fry session more than the chick peas. Super light and crunchy though. The roasted eggplants are food, has a nice kick to it. The hummus is super smooth and a tad runny, reminds me of tahini sauce. The fattoush is okay. Could use some sumac to flavor it up some. The cucumbers are too water logged, tomatoes aren't ripe and lettuce is wilted. The Molokhia soup has a rather slimy and glutinous texture, it's quite odd. Not for me at all. Comes in a large bowl. The waiter waiting on me is eating behind the checkout counter after he dropped off my last dish. The feteer is an Egyptian quesadilla. Cheese, tomato, green peppers, black olives and chicken shawarma. It's good with the hummus or the garlic sauce. The feteer is definitely worth the I felt like the experience for me was very much transactional.

The Lesan Asfour soup was as delicious as it was in Egypt. All the food was authentic.read more
