I love this venue! I was happy to see the restaurant has expanded its dining area ! It looks so spacious and inviting. I even watched some basketball on the big TV while eating my meal. The venue is celebrating being open @1 year already! I am so thankful that the venue stayed in our neighborhood. Good food and great service here on Main Street. The food is so memorable and I have missed the Caldo de res !!! We have been traveling and I have not been able to get back sooner to satisfy my cravings! I has a side of avocado, sweet plantains, and rice! A squeeze of lime and a bit of habanero sauce... it's amazing!!! We ordered yummy chicken tamales and pork with yuca!!! We enjoyed the friendly, welcoming, and attentive staff. And it was so cool to see patrons even ordering takeout out!

Husband and I were in the mood for Mexican and found this place - what a fantastic find and can't wait to go back. Located on main street in Laurel, there is street parking out front or a giant lot out back. We arrived about an hour before closing on a Saturday night, there were 1-2 other tables and a couple people at the bar - otherwise empty. There is an extensive menu to choose from, almost overwhelming with all the things that tasted good. We got a house marg, which was good, and chips and dip came. For a main course, we split the fajitas with chicken, beef, and shrimp and a side of plantains. You get about 8 plantains for the price, VERY worth it - they were delish. The fajitas were plenty to share between two people with some leftovers to take home. It was nicely decorated with enjoyable music playing but not too loud. The downside was that there was no flan available, we were hoping to give that a try. With any luck, they will have some the next time we come!

The tripe soup! So hearty and flavorful. I have nothing more to say. I need to go back soon.

I think Acapulco has a ton of promise and will be back to try out more than just the pupusas and chips. I went very early on when they first opened to get carry out. I got there after lunch but pre dinner. They were really super friendly and the food was solid. A few misses were stale chips and they forgot the curtido with my pupusas. I expect that was just the kitchen working out the kinks. I did have an amazing horchata and enjoyed chatting with the hostess/bartender about the place. Very cute little place. As I said, I will be back to try out many of the other dishes on the menu.

NY steak & the rice was super delicious. Highly recommend to everyone.

Food was good, perhaps a bit salty. Service was slow, ambience was good. It is pricey for what you get.

I was finally in the area and got a chance to go in person and wow, the experience of eating the food fresh there was even better - although I must say this food does travel very well. I wish I caught the young man's name, who was the cashier, but he was great! He was very friendly, just seemed like a good, hardworking kid. I wanted a classic so I just got the gyro platter, the Greek fries and the soup. The soup is so good and reminds me of my favorite Greek place back home in chicago, I used to eat this type of soup every weekend with my family. Ingredients are fresh here and quality is always A1. The Greek fries are my favorite and a guilty pleasure. They are so flavorful and have the best texture. The gyro was also very filling and they really don't skimp out here with their toppings. I'm an extra sauce kinda gal and here, they really just go above and beyond without you ever needing to ask them. I wish I had a closer location in DC! Today, I gave them another shot because Uber Eats was offering a buy one, get one free deal on the jerk chicken meal. I chose rice & peas with plantain for my sides. The chicken was cooked on the grill--which I love--because it really brings out the flavor in jerk chicken. I also requested my jerk sauce on the side since I prefer a dry rub style over a saucy one. The only drawback was the small bone pieces in the chicken and rice. That's something to be cautious about, especially if a child is eating the meal. The plantains were also inconsistent--some pieces were hard, while others were mushy. On the bright side, the coco bread was perfect and the Jamaican rum cake was phenomenal. Whoever baked that cake clearly took their time soaking it in rum. It reminded me of the way my grandmother used to make it--absolutely delicious. I would definitely order the rum cake again.

Usually with brunch we would do the bottomless mimosas and all but because I was driving I decided not to participate in that. And usually I would get chicken and waffles but I was in the mood for a burger. So I thought because their name is "Mad Cow" the burger would be the bomb...but nope it was not good at all. So I prefer a beef burger cooked medium with blue cheese, mayo, lettuce, tomato, and onions. When I burger got tot the table it was dry as a board. No blue cheese that I paid extra for and the burger was not cooked correctly it was cooked well done. Smdh. So the waiter brought me my blue cheese apologized about it and also gave me a mayo bottle. Even with the burger still was not good and the patty was so thick with no flavor not even salt and pepper was in it!! I tried their punch drink which was really good but for $15 a pop in a regular water glass was ridiculous. Make sure you don't get too tipsy as they already have like a 20% gratuity added on each of our checks no matter how small or big your group is which again is ridiculous! Will I come back...maybe only because I would like to try some Jamaican food they offer. But for brunch...it's a no for me!

My schedule was rearranged last minute on a Saturday so I decided to catch their brunch. The laurel location was the closest to me. I was able to reserve a spot at the bar on open table about an hour before arrival . It must have been a lucky day for me because there were plenty vacancies and I didn't need to make a reservation. There was live jazz playing. I sat at the bar - shout out to Nnamdi who was the bartender and my waiter. Food wise: brunch only offers the $55 unlimited food option for two hours. I was completely fine with this as I was able to taste multiple dishes. I had the fried deviled eggs, Rockefeller oysters, bang bang shrimp, deep fried snow crab legs, pork chop and grits, wings in hot honey lemon pepper (their signature sauce) and the white chocolate bread pudding I enjoyed everything except the deep fried crab legs. The cluster was hallow. I had more fried batter than crab meat. Deviled eggs were my favorite of all the things I tried. And the bread pudding was sinfully delicious . I wasn't able to finish my last two items ordered but luckily I was able to fit it in the to-go box. Most places that serve unlimited food don't allow to-go boxes so I was happy to not have my leftovers go to waste. I opted for the bottomless cocktails as well. I stuck to the mimosas and tried the different flavors. The pours were generous. Nnamdi was very attentive and I appreciate him answering all of my clarifying questions as it was my first time.
