Comfortable setting for solid Salvadoran food. Fast service. Sit down or take out. Clean. Food is good.

pedi una carne guisada. y me dieron solo 3 pedazos pequeños de carne. !! siento que no vale lo que cuesta. no me gustooo. Le dije ala muchacha. Y dijo. Ahi hay 4 pedazos. Osea. Son tan pequeños nada que ver

I was in the search of breakfast but not breakfast food and was pleased to stumble upon this place located in the shopping mall off Montpelier. I didn't know they had breakfast food until I arrived but after seeing the taco choices I opted for Al pastor and carne asada. The tacos were amazing and very flavorful. Next time I go I will be trying the breakfast menu. Even for it to have been extremely early and no signs of life on the outside people knew they were open because the phone was ringing and patrons were coming in ordering.

Randomly ending up here this morning and found a delicious chorizo and eggs breakfast. Felt like someone cooked for me in their own home. I will be back if I'm ever in the area again.

Shoutout to our local community heroes! Brian took great care of us from greeting us to serving us all our favorites! Comfort food is good all day here! Brian was so patient, personable, and attentive. He was definitely right, our food did not take long. I almost cried because the horchata dispenser was empty, but it's because they just made a new batch. A large size of this liquid gold last the entire meal with some to take on the road if you don't finish. We had fresh hot pupusas, sauce , and crunchy slaw first. We got 2 each of our favorites: Queso, Queso and beans, and the savory Queso and pork!!! Cheese pull was on point! So delicious! Then came giant tamales packed full of chicken in the soft steamed sweet corn pouch of perfection. I had to get my chicharones and yucca! Because it is like crunchy bacon on the outside and tender pork inside! It's magical! A splash of lime and little bit of hot sauce takes me straight to my happy place! I was full and my leftovers went home to the family to snack on. I did not realize how easy it was to reheat pupusas.... Maybe I should get more next time just to take home, because we ate those right away! Bravo team!!! Delicioso !!

A little hole in the wall gem! Never would have considered this place if it weren't for the rating. Good food, simple and easy service.

Every customer was welcomed and greeted with open arms and smiles. The restaurant is clean and has a small bar. I loved how clean the restrooms were. Saturdays there is a happy hour option of some food items and drinks. There are often specials to try and nothing I mean nothing on the menu isn't worth trying. Thank you to Arianna and her dad for being so welcoming and kind. Both of their hibiscus margaritas were 10/10!!

The special Apple Cider Reposado margarita was good but we didn't taste any of the cider, just straight up tequila but it was good. You can also order margaritas in passion fruit, mango, strawberry, and hibiscus flavors. They get extra points because of the passion fruit flavor. The complimentary chips were okay, but the salsa stood out, it had an authentic/in house made flavor. For the main meals, everyone at the table was satisfied. We had an order of the shrimp and chicken fajitas, beef floutas and the salmon a la parrilla, grilled salmon topped with homemade mango salsa served with mixed green salad, rice & beans. The mango salsa was tasty but I didn't like how runny it was. The staff was friendly and attentive without being overbearing, and the restaurant itself looked clean and well-kept, which made the whole experience more enjoyable. I would come back and try a few other items on the menu. The online menu is a bit different from what we had in person, I didn't see the mussels on the menu given to us in the restaurant. Happy Hour is from 3-7pm. This is a solid spot for a casual night out with friends for good margaritas, authentic touches, and a welcoming atmosphere.

We were a party of three on a Monday, and there was only one other party of three seated. The rest of the restaurant, a large open space with tables and chairs, as well as booths, was empty. There's a bar to the right side, kitchen in the far back. It's clearly set up for shows, performances, screenings, and/or dancing with a raised stage toward the entrance and a projector screen. The service was very good. The server was friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating, and attentive. There was a small language barrier but we overcame it by rephrasing, repeating, and gesturing. My companions ordered the quesabirria tacos, which they both devoured and raved about. The tacos did look visually stimulating, were served hot, and were a large portion for the price. I ordered the huevos rancheros without beef, and it was tasty but not astounding. The side of beans tasted like a shot of vodka was added in it and tasted terrible. I also ordered tamarindo but they were out of stock. They also didn't have tamal de elote, which was disappointing but not surprising since it's winter. I then opted for the lemonade, which was freshly made and does not come come with free refills. Soft drinks are can sodas, not from a fountain drink machine.

I wouldn't exactly sit down and eat, but to-go, absolutely. I grabbed three tacos (Chicken, carne asada, chorizo). They are served on corn tortillas with cilantro and cooked onions. The cooked onions were a bit different for me as I'm used to the raw diced onions. Oommggg...these tacos were packed with flavor and gave me a sense of an authentic Mexican taco. I can't believe I waited so long to for this place a shot. This will definitely be on my frequently visited spots. On top of all that, the gentleman at the counter was super friendly. That's always a plus.
