I cannot say enough good things about the service tech(s) at Accelerated Services. The first time we made a service call to them, our Navien on demand hot water heater stopped heating water, they were able to get the necessary replacement part(s) from their local distributor and they didn't bang us on the part(s) or labor. We were back and running in a few hours. The second time we called them back to do a preventive maintenance on our on demand Heat and separate Hot water heater which they strongly recommended on the first emergency call. They took their time and in my opinion, didn't overcharge for the service. From the moment I called for the first emergency repair, the dispatcher (Jamie I think the her name was) was friendly and clearly communicated when their tech would arrive. The technician was on time, knowledgeable, and actually explained and showed us the problem which they diagnosed in minutes. If you are in the Lake Ronkonkoma area and need an honest, fairly priced HVAC contractor, do yourself a favor and give them a call. We're actually going to get them to schedule a preventative maintenance on our Rheem Central air conditioning system in the very near future. read more

WORST company I've ever delt with. Asked for a price to replace my central AC system and was told they could repair my condenser. $3,000 dollars later, oops, what do you know, they can't fix it! Complete scam. Gave the owner every opportunity to make it right but instead he just sent over priced offers to replace the system. Worst company to hire for repairs or installs. They write up repairs that don't need to be done, arrived at my house to do a maintenance and everything was working great , they wrote up that I need new contactors capacitors and relays , when they left only one of my three systems was working but before they arrived everything was working great I called and told to return to my house and fix everything the way it was , I was told they couldn't because I need new parts to fix equipment , I told them that's bullshit , I called another hvac contractor and when they arrived I told them what happened they took a look at my equipment and had everything up and running in 20 minutes was told the company had disconnected some wiring that's why equipment wasn't working DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY unless you want to be ripped off read more

I use Accelerated Services for commercial and residential properties. They are great all around from the ladies in the office, the gentlemen on the service calls, and the Owner Operator himself. I understand this business can be a little tricky, one-time there was a misdiagnosis, they handled this situation perfectly and completely rectified the problem. Beware. They came to check on my AC unit and said it MIGHT just need Freon for $2000. However, if that doesn't solve the problem they would then need to install a new AC for $8000-$10000. Sounded fishy so I called another company that a friend highly recommended. They put Freon in for $900 and said that this should solve the issue. If not, they would refund half the $900 and replace the AC for $4800. It's been a week and the Freon seems to be solving the problem. BTW- the new AC guy said he won't swear to it but it appears that the Freon was actually removed from the unit. Stay away from these guys. read more

STAY AWAY. Took three visits to fix a routine problem - billed for each visit. (I refused to pay the third time around). Stretch billable service time - favorite trick - go to their car and sit there for half an hour "writing a ticket". Attempted to charge $340 for the thermostat priced $79 in stores and on Amazon. We recently remodeled a 10,000 SF historic home. This large project required some 200 workers and contractors to work and walk throug at one time or another. Hands down, the one that consistently stood out as the nicest, most fair, most detail oriented, from start to finish, - was Accellerated Services. The HVAC job that they did was huge! I don't recommend this business at all. They overcharge for parts, usually double or triple prices online, and they didn't fix my problem correctly the first. They had to come back and waste another day of my time. The office staff was rude and not very knowledgeable. read more

My husband and I are snowbirds and called Accelerated Services to install a smart thermostat so we can monitor the temperature in our home from Florida during the winter months. Kim, the woman that answers the phone at ASI was so personable when I called and I was able to schedule an appointment for the next day to have the work done. Greg, their Service Man was on my doorstep at the exact time of my appointment. He too was very personable, knowledgeable and had us up and running very quickly. He even helped me to register online with the thermostat company in order to monitor my system online from FL. I began working with Accelerated a few years back for some renovation work being done at my home, at the recommendation of a friend that owns an HVAC company that only does work in Manhattan. Spoke with Pete, and he put together a very smart A/C and Heat package for our upstairs renovation, and took over maintenance of our original system. They are proactive and professional, appointments always keep their appointments. Recently we had a problem with our heating unit. They diagnosed the issue, sent me a quote, ordered the part. When the part came in, they saw it was the wrong part and went to a different distributor to pick up the correct part. The correct part was significantly cheaper. I'd have never known that. They could have said nothing, installed the right part and pocketed the additional money, but that is not how they operate. I got a call from Kim, she told me what happened, and my repair was less than half of the original estimate. That kind of treatment builds long term trust, and that builds long term relationships.
