For starters, the waiting room was very chaotic -- there was a physical altercation that occurred between two teenagers, who were ultimately allowed to stay despite making other patients like myself very uncomfortable. They should have been politely escorted out by security. I could easily get over that though. The quality of care, however, not so much. I went in for a severe sore throat that had persisted for 11 days. After testing me negative for strep, they immediately discharged me and began replacing the lining on my seat. Turns out there's more bacterial infections than just strep. After two more days of worsening symptoms, I went to my primary care doctor who finally prescribed me the antibiotics I needed. Overall I would avoid this place because their evaluation was not very thorough, which led to me not getting the treatment I actually needed. The waiting room chaos was just the cherry on top. read more

DO NOT GO here unless you want bills being sent to you almost a year after your visit! This place bills as if they are a primary care doctor office and charge way more than your co-pay for insurance! Not to mention asking for money almost a year later is insane! They also save your payment method on file and bill you anyway! Giving 2 stars so my review isn't hidden. First time here. I had a leg wound from a week ago that I wasn't sure was starting to heal ok. A plastic bin of scrapbook paper got me good by my ankle. Got helped right away when we got to AUC. The doctor was very nice and helpful in explaining the treatment plan for my leg. I just wasn't sure about the peroxide regimen, as I'd read it kills new skin tissue, as well as the bad stuff. 16 days later and it looks like it's doing ok, so thanks , AUC. read more

SCAM! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. This clinic cares more about MONEY than their patients. I paid $145 for a consultation and explained several symptoms to the medical assistant, including stomach pain and symptoms of an infection. The doctor first spoke to me from outside the room and clearly seemed to be in a rush. She told me they wouldn't be able to see me if it was something related to a cyst, which was only ONE of my symptoms. She then told me I would be getting a refund and sent me to the front desk. I was confused because I still had other symptoms that needed attention. When I went to get my refund, the manager refused to refund me simply because I had already entered the room, even though I had barely seen the doctor, had not received a proper consultation, and my symptoms had not even been fully communicated to her. The medical assistant did not tell the doctor everything I had explained. I was upset and told them that, at the very least, I wanted something for the infection. That's when the doctor finally came back and said, "Oh, you have an infection?" She then started asking about the symptoms that I had already explained to the medical assistant. After my urine test, (5 min later) she told me everything was fine. How can everything be fine when I was clearly experiencing multiple symptoms and feeling extremely sick? At that point, I practically had to tell them what I needed. I told them I didn't even care about the other symptoms anymore--I just wanted a prescription for the infection so I could feel better, and I would go somewhere else to address everything else. I ended up paying an additional $40 for a lab on top of the $145 consultation because I desperately needed treatment. After paying almost $200, I STILL couldn't pick up my prescription because something was wrong on their end. I called multiple times asking them to fix it, and they were extremely rude and even hung up on me. I ultimately had to contact my dermatologist and ask her to prescribe something for the infection because this clinic was no help. I left this place feeling even worse than when I arrived. I will be contacting my bank to dispute the charges. Absolutely unacceptable and extremely unprofessional. I would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

I uploaded my insurance info ahead of time through online booking and ofc the employees don't check my insurance. I had also looked up urgent cares that take my insurance through Blue Shield and this was one. I show up and I'm told I would have to pay out of pocket if my insurance doesn't pay for my visit and I ask how much. They couldn't even answer how much an out of pocket appointment was. I also have a document from my insurance stating coverage for this urgent care. So dumb. Better off just going to my current provider. read more

The receptionist has no clue how to get patients in order. I came in earlier than many other patients and they were treated earlier than me. I completed the registration form at 6:50pm and they failed to get me into the line. Then after 30 minutes they realized that even though I received the confirmation, they cannot find it and had to re-do the form and get into the line again. This cost me 40 more minutes of waiting. I accidentally scheduled my appointment at the Fresno location instead of Clovis (about 35 minutes from me), but the visit itself was smooth. The staff was kind, professional, and I was in and out quickly. A few days later, I discovered they had tried to call about my lab results but did not leave a voicemail. When I called to follow up, I learned there had been an issue processing my labs and I needed to come back in for another swab. Not receiving a voicemail and having to return -- especially with work travel and the distance -- was frustrating. That said, this is where their team truly impressed me. Priscilla was incredibly kind and made sure everything went smoothly when I returned. I was seen quickly and they confirmed I would not have to pay another copay. Shortly after, the manager, Yaya, personally called to apologize, explain the process improvements they've implemented, and followed up promptly once my results were ready. Mistakes can happen. What matters is how a business responds -- and they responded with accountability, professionalism, and genuine care. Sliced my finger open and need medical attention. I didn't want to go to the ER because I thought it would be a nightmare, so I went to AUC. Bad decision. It was after 9PM and they only had one provider working. The waiting room was fully packed, enough people that 2/3 providers should have been working (more on this soon). Went to the front counter and was calm and polite despite my finger actively bleeding. The receptionist could not have been more bothered and annoyed that I was there. Whatever, I checked in, what option did I have? I started waiting and people inquired about how long they would have to wait. Everyone was being quoted 90 minutes to 2 hours before the would be called into the back, so people started leaving. Despite people leaving, the waiting room was still completely packed. See what I mean by a minimum of 2/3 providers should be working? AUC does not prioritize patients based on medical needs; it's a first come first serve basis. I'm sorry, but someone actively bleeding should probably go before the person who has a sprained ankle, or a cold that has been around for a week. That is how quality, reputable urgent care / emergency rooms work. So I decided to leave and "risk" going to the Clovis Community Hospital Emergency Room. I literally drove to the hospital, got stitched up, and discharged in less time than had I waited to be called to the back room at AUC.... AUC estimated me to be called to the back between 10:45/11:15 PM. Clovis Community had me on my way home at 10:30 PM. So yeah, don't choose AUC for lacerations... Also, maybe they shouldn't call themselves "accelerated." I don't think they know what that word means. The only reason I added a second star was because they re-bandaged my wound before I went to the ER. read more

We've needed their services a few times. They have been fairly easy to access and have no issues with my service dog. They did a good job of figuring out what was wrong and patching us up. My biggest issue is the parking lot can sometimes not feel very safe. read more

I scheduled an appointment and still waited two hours past my appointment time to be seen. There was no meaningful communication or explanation for the delay. Waiting that long while feeling ill is unacceptable. When I was finally brought back, the visit lasted less than five minutes. The nurse came in and immediately asked what I thought she should do instead of conducting a thorough assessment or explaining a plan of care. I came in seeking medical guidance because I am sick ... it is not my role to determine the course of treatment. The interaction felt dismissive and unprofessional. There was no clear explanation of what was going on, what my options were, or what the next steps should be. The entire experience felt rushed and lacking in basic patient care. When the "doctor" came in to see my husband, he asked a few questions and then said he could probably do an xray but they were unable to provide us with cost of xray. I sliced my hand open last Thursday. I was here for 4.5 hours from check in to going home. I was given stitches and told I had to return in 7 days to get them removed. This urgent care is just as bad as ER at the hospital. They only ever have ONE nurse practitioner, the only have 5 rooms, to check in they text you a link and the service in the building is horrible so it took me 10 minutes just to finish signing up. BUT you don't officially get in line until the girl at the payments window takes her sweet time having you sign 3 papers and take your $30 copay!! So now, begrudgingly, I'm here again to get my stitches removed. I sat in the lobby for 1 hour and 50 minutes before bring brought into an exam room, where I've been sitting for 15 minutes already as I'm typing this review. This place is R I D I C U L O U S. There is nothing "Accelerated" about it. Oh and on my first visit there was a large roach crawling around inside the room. Premium Urgent care is MUCH FASTER. Never EVER coming here again. They took $60 from me to provide me with the worst possible service ever. Like why not use dissolvable stitches??? Especially if you know your business takes forever. This single star does not reflect the care we received. The front office staff was great. Back office staff were great. The Doctor was an incredible women who was personable. Great, great staff. But we noticed this as we were leaving today and how deeply concerning of ownership to do this when we are in triple digits even reaching over 110*. If what little we could give to our community is a small bit of water, why not? Awful way to deter our unhoused community. We will not be returning unless this is resolved. Very immoral in my eyes, but hey I am but one person. I will update my review to reflect quality of care once my concern is addressed. I arrived at 5:17pm got checked in right away waited 30 min got my vitals checked 6pm I was in a room all she was gonna give me was neproxen for my arm I requested x rays waited 1 hour in the room no communication or anything I opened the door and a nurse happened ti walk by probably to check if the room was empty and saw me and said have you been helped I said ive been wanting fir an x ray 30 min go by I get an x ray done go back to the room waited a whole hr only to walk out. I really love this urgent care. Easy to make an appointment online. Was able to upload my ID and insurance information. Once I arrive it was an easy check in. All the staff was nice and also the doctor was great. My medication was sent out to the pharmacy while I was still being seen, so once I was done it was ready for pick up I love that. It's been two days an I got a text to follow up if I was ok or needed to schedule that's super cool. Hopefully I don't have to but this is the place to go for urgent care. We arrived at this urgent care at 11:40 AM and checked in as walk-ins. We waited for about an hour, only to see multiple people who also walked in after us get called in before us. When we asked the front desk for an update, the person working didn't seem to know what was going on or why we weren't even showing up in the system. No explanation was given. Eventually, a nurse called us in to take vitals and ask questions, then placed us in a room. After that, we waited yet another 30 minutes without anyone coming in to follow up or check on us. At that point, we were so frustrated we decided to just walk out. This place is completely disorganized, and the staff didn't seem to have any sense of urgency or awareness of who had been waiting the longest. We wouldn't recommend this urgent care to anyone. Save your time and go elsewhere. read more

The actual medical services I received here, I would rate at least 3 stars. The reason for this one star review is the deeply concerning marketing messages I have been receiving from Accelerated Urgent Care. The text reads: "Accelerated Urgent Care: Now offering Insurance Covered Weight loss! Click below to get your summer body:[link]" This is unethical messaging for a health care clinic. "Summer body" is a term rooted in diet culture and thin-ideal marketing, and it has literally nothing to do with wellness. Every body is a summer body. The least your marketers could do is say "We now offer insurance-covered support for weight-related health concerns." Weight loss is not a proxy for health, and this messaging is irresponsible and tone-deaf. read more

New to the Fresno area & needed urgent care due to an injury sustained while moving. Waited hours in pain to be seen. Waited longer for x-ray results. Found out I have a "little pneumonia" on top of the injury. The PA that I saw said she wasn't sure if she could send the antibiotic thru Amazon for home delivery. Only prescribed low dose pain meds. Called to get a Telehealth appointment to address the issue re antibiotic not being on my Amazon pharmacy portal, & some appropriate meds for the pain so I don't want to die every time I cough (hopefully the pneumonia doesn't get worse). They won't see me over telehealth, they won't correct the prescription issue, and apparently they cannot help with anything more than Tylenol or Advil in Rx strength. If you have a semi serious condition, do not go here. They are not set up appropriately to help. The highest care you will get is a PA. I thought there was a law that an MD has to be onsite during operating hours? Maybe I am mistaken... regardless, you can't get the help needed here. read more

I've been to this Urgent Care three times (twice for me and once for my grandson). All three visits were good. Wait times are long, but once you get in to have vitals taken the process speeds up. I found the staff to be professional and organized yet compassionate. If I can't get into my primary care or I need help after hours.... This is my go to for medical care. read more
