My mom was a long time patient of Dr. Dizon. Sadly, the standard of care has been lacking. She is rarely able to see the doctor himself, but the PAs have provided good care. The real issue is with the medical assistants and office staff. They do not return calls, screen calls and selectively answer, and the worst part is they are allowed to select the specialists for referrals with no education or OVERSIGHT! The Cedar location staff is very unprofessional. Luckily we were able to switch my mom's PCP. Definitely do not recommend this practice! read more

Horrible experience with this office for sleep medicine. I had a consult several months ago and can't reach anyone to follow up on the sleep study the doctor ordered. I've spoken to multiple staff and they say they will follow up and never call back. It's any luck if they ever answer the phone, the calls always go to voicemail and no one returns your call. First off, I can't recommend this Urgent care enough. I brought my father here today for an issue he was having with his left hand and wrist. They were able to get him checked in and triaged very quickly. Then Dr. Dizon saw him and was able to quickly make a diagnosis and come up with a treatment plan that worked for what my dad needed. He gave him an injection in the office and was able to send several medications to his pharmacy that we were able to pick up on the way home. All in all it took just over an hour to get everything done. Had I chosen to take him to an ER we would have been waiting all day just to be seen. Absolutely awful experience with pediatrician on copper Ave. Our pediatrician SUSAN SENSAKI First off at our daughter's 9month appt the doctor was distracting us while the nurse vaccinated our baby. Fast forward to our 12 Mo visit. We told the doctor we are not ready for any vaccines because our daughter got very sick last time. The doctor continue to push it on us and explain to us that our daughter can die if we don't vaccinate her and how people aren't vaccinating because of Kennedy now, etc. She was pushing her political views on us as well as not letting us leave the room, where she stood in front of the door and shut the door. Not to mention when we told her we don't want to vaccinate at the time and we would rather think about it first she left us in the room and turned off the air conditioning for more than 10 minutes. Finally my husband goes out and says that we need to leave and that's when she comes in and barricades the door. I do not at all recommend this awful facility. read more

Brought my son to urgent care for a head injury. We got there at 1:18 and they closed at 2. We waited for 15 minutes then someone comes out to tell me they won't see him because they were finishing up the patient in the back but had a busy morning yet no one was in the waiting room. So they sent away a 5 year old with a head injury. Would never go back for urgent care of even think of using them for his regular pediatrician. read more

First, I'll say that the doctors here do provide great care, but the office staff needs major work. Last Friday I called the Cedar Urgent Care location, and they did not answer. I then called the Copper location, and they said the Cedar location isn't open on Fridays, despite their website and posted hours. I then asked how late they accept walk-ins as they close at 6:00pm. He said as long as I am there by 5:30 I can be seen no problem. I got out of work and flew across town and got into their waiting room at 5:22pm. I attempted to check-in and was told they did not have any more availability. I pointed out the guy I spoke to said as long I was there by 5:30 it was no problem. They said they would ask the provider if they could squeeze me in but the NP said no. I asked them to ask Dr. Dizon, but they didn't. They said I could come in the next day (Saturday) but I informed them I had to go out of town in the morning. They said I could do a video call with the provider and scheduled me for 9:00-9:15 and said I would get a link via text at 9:00. I waited and called at 9:15 letting them know I did not get a link and was informed they provider was still with the patient before me, and I would get it soon. I did not get the link until 9:40 and I immediately logged in and has to wait another 5 minutes before the provider got on. This is one of many times I have had issues with the office staff sending out referrals etc. read more

What kind of RAPID COVID test center gives you a test and tells you to come back the next day for your test results?! Waste of time. The gal who did the test told me that the dr who verifies the tests has an office across the way and wouldn't be able to verify the results until after he closed his practice at 5pm. For goodness sake, guys.. I understand you're trying to make extra money on the side and are taking advantage of the current situation, but do what you say you're going to do - rapid test = rapid results. I wish I was able to review the copper location! This review is for the Dizon on copper. Last night 15 minutes before they closed we rushed over with our 2 year old. She had just woken up from a nap and was not looking good. She's been sick for 5 days now. They were about to close and the sweet doctor took her! I am so grateful to him that he did. I was so scared and he could have easily said no. They stayed over an hour helping her and us. I will be switching all 3 of my daughters over to their pediatric office. They are so kind and truly care! I already switched my doctor of over 12 years to Dr. Carey. Their staff and doctors give the utmost respect and like I said they truly care. It meant the absolute world to me last night that they cared more about my child than shutting the doors and going home. Thank you so much for going above and beyond! The visit was initially positive. That changed. My ear was hurting, and felt like there was an obstruction in it. I explained the pain and the feeling of blockage. The doctor (Dr. Francesco i believe) stepped in for maybe 2 minutes, looked in my ear, and said that it had wax in it, while the other ear seemed clean. The nurse or lady from the front, who was actually super nice, came and flushed my ear with peroxide, which burnt like hell and felt horrible all the way down the side of my neck. She was using a squeeze bottle to push the liquid in my ear. She got some obstruction out and though i kept saying it hurts, they told me it will go away. No meds were prescribed. The 10 min visit was $140. The days after that were hell. My ear was throbbing, stabbing pain, cannot hear much on that side. The sunday following the saturday procedure, i am at home screaming in pain despite having taken ibuprofen. On monday i call back to see if i can get a follow up visit with the doctor to check on my ear because obviously something was missed and something was not treated because this shouldn't be happening. I get told that to wait until the doctor is back because they currently have another provider so if I went to the other provider I would be charged again, this also did not guarantee that I wouldn't be charged by the original doctor, but they said I could speak with him. I come back to the location on Saturday after dealing with the pain for the whole week. thinking this doctor has treated me on Saturday so that must be his schedule. Again, he is not there, some other providers there and of course they want to charge me again, despite pleading with them that the treatment left me in pain and that they must have missed an infection, because my ear has been leaking yellow fluids for the whole week after. After a frustrating convo with the front desk, in which, basically they tell me the same spiel about different providers, and whatever, and telling me to wait again for another week until the original doctor is back to speak with him, we decide to leave. This is another money grab office run by an umbrella corporation. If you don't have the same provider, they will be pushing you around and telling you to wait to find out if you have to pay again when you are in pain. Front desk also initially told me that I would get a call from the doctor that following Thursday, guess three times if that ever happened. You're damn right - it didn't. They just dropped the ball on the whole situation so I ended up calling a Telehealth provider, telling them what happened, the doctor telling me that they most likely burnt my membrane with hydrogen peroxide. That would explain the pain along with the infection. The whole telehealth visit was only $30, the Doctor recognized that I most likely have an ear infection, and prescribed some amoxicillin ($6) that healed the entire issue within a matter of days. On day too I was already not in pain and could hear again. Moral of the story, don't waste your time here. read more

I came in for a rapid COVID test. I was in town and recently exposed. I immediately looked online to book an appointment and Dizon Medicine popped up nearest. When I got to the urgent care, The receptionist checked me in and I waited in my car. Sherice came to handle the test. She was very helpful and guided me through the whole process. We went there today (Maple and Herndon Ave location) and my son saw P.A. Marikat Smith, who gave us unacceptable customer service. On top of that she did not want to give my son a referral to see an orthopedic even though we both explained the need and urgency for a specialist. Ultimately, she did it, but it felt like we had to beg, and that is not acceptable. I felt she used our vulnerability to position herself in a higher level of power and to make us feel insignificant. To add insult to injury, she sent us to Fresno Heart Surgical Hospital for a simple x-ray, which by the way their urgent care facility could not provide, and after driving all the way there the facility's representative told us they only see kids who are 16+ years old. I absolutely would not recommend this establishment, and I hope someone in management can understand the negative impact this experience has had on my son and I. read more

We went for COVID tests and flu tests for my 2 daughters. We called and we're not informed that we needed appointments so when I went out there and called the number on the red board, I was told I needed an appointment. I was told though that they would be able to do our test in a few minutes once she finished the paperwork. She took my information. 30 minutes later, I called the number again. I live very close and can go back for an appointment so I called again and was told they could come out right now but they had an emergency. A gentlemen came out and when he took our temperature, it was high (even with the AC running)- I told him we'd been in the car for 30 minutes and he was shocked. He took the tests and told us we would get called within 1-2 hours. We got a call about 30 minutes later saying they forgot to take the COVID test and only gave us the flu test so we had to go back. We went back for the COVID test. We got a call a call later with the results. We got a call about 15 minutes later saying they made a mistake and one of the results was wrong. I had zero confidence now so we went back for a PCR test. We didn't get the results from quest until days later. We went on a Monday. Quest showed test completed on Tuesday. They received the test on Wednesday and we didn't get the results until Friday when I had to call and have someone look into it. Also, one of my daughters tested positive for the flu and they just suggested keeping her hydrated. She has only started symptoms the day before and she couldn't have gotten Tamiflu but they didn't suggest it. I had to call back and ask about it, but was told that Tamiflu is really hard to find and if I found a pharmacy to have it in stock that they could call it in. I called our pharmacy and they had it. So I called the urgent to have it sent over. After our experience, I don't have any confidence in this urgent care. read more

This review is for the Pediatric Urgent care on Copper. I would definitely not recommend, what a mess. I called this morning at 9:15, was told they were not taking appts today. Asked how many people were on the wait list they told me 3. So I headed over there. This urgent care is 30 mins from my house. But I have never in the past had an issue, so well, worth the drive. Once I got to the urgent care at 10:15am I was told they would see me at 1:45. I said but I called and was told there's no appts available. The receptionist said "there isn't any appts, this is a place holder" I told her so we have to wait here until 1:45?! She goes "no, you can leave" I told her "no I can't leave because I live more than 30 mins away." So incredibly frustrating, driving around everywhere with sick kids. I could have been told when I called at 9:15am to come at 1:45. They lost a customer today. And I will be posting a review in all the mom groups letting them know as well. I have tried to go to this location twice and was turned away both times. The first time was in November around 3pm. The place was quiet and empty but they said we'd be waiting for 2+ hours so we'd be better off going to the copper location. (Copper was amazing but it's far out of my way). So I go back today and see a sign saying they've moved locations. I drive to the Cedar office at 5pm and they immediately say they're closed. I look at the door which says they close at 7pm (website says 8). They said they normally close at 7 but today they closed at 5. They said it's been "crazy" but there was no one waiting and the lights in the back were already off. Again, they said we'd have to go to the Copper location. They said we could be seen at 6 and set an appointment. I chose not to keep that appointment and I officially give up on this clinic. We came to Peachwood and got in right away. Super great experience today! I was helping a little 19 year old girl from India. She had a serious issue that needed addressed immediately. She had already suffered 7 days and so we came here. We were referred by the Dizon on Copper, because we were specifically looking for a female to help us resolve the problem. We were referred to Beth Smith and after explaining the situation, she quickly and compassionately took immediate action to not only resolve the issue, but minimize the cost. She went above and beyond the call of duty, to help us. We really appreciate that we were able to get in and out and pick up our prescription immediately. Let's start by saying this place is careless for their patients. I brought my son to be seen for his ear because he was in pain this was a Sunday. The doctor that day didn't really checked him correctly just glimpsed in his ear and said it's "congested." And didn't give me anything for his pain. Next day took my son to see his pediatrician because he was in still in pain. Well it turned out to be bullous myringitis, they immediately started him on antibiotics because it is painful!
