Terrible warranty experience. It took 3 shade repairs/replacements and nearly 5 months to resolve. The first replacement was cut too wide for the window opening. The second one was actually the same one returned with no modification. The technician wedged it up in the opening and used spacers and blackout cloth to make it fit. The motor was grinding. The third shade was cut correctly to size and motor was silent. We didn't feel the company was an advocate for us. Beware, you have to pay service fees every time for them to pick up, deliver and reinstall defective shades/blinds even though they are under warranty. My shade was 3 years old. I delivered defective blinds to the company to avoid paying there pick-up fees. I paid $120 for them to install the blind the second time and when they insisted on me paying $120 for the third installation I installed it myself. They do not stand behind Hunter Douglas and blame them for faulty repairs and delays. read more

We have no idea how we missed Accent Shutters & Blinds on the web, but if I would have seen it, we probably had our shutters installed a year a go today. We contracted Blaine and Joyce to do our shutters and our home has beautiful white shutters. I was extremely impressed that it only took the installers an hour and a half to install seven shutters and one for our sliding glass door. They are very clean and everyone is very friendly.
