They quoted $1,300 to replace the contactor in my A/C unit; luckily, I decided to get an alternative quote and had another well established company come in and do it for $400 and my A/C is working perfectly. On top of that, when I cancelled the appointment and was told my $400 deposit check would be ripped up and disposed of. Fast forward a few days and they cashed the check despite the fact that they completed no work. Now I'm fighting to get a refund and am beyond livid at this experience of feeling taken advantage of.

Steve was the technician. He arrived well within the promised "window," and went right to work diagnosing the problem. In just a few minutes, he confirmed that we had a failed waste water pump, which the Error Code on the digital display had indicated. Steve was very efficient and quite competent. He explained the process as he did the repair. He had the part in his vehicle, so was able to do the repair on-the-spot. In about 1.5 hours, the repair was completed, the dishwasher re-installed, and we did a successful test run. Elite had given me an estimate for the total cost of the repair before I even scheduled the visit, and the amount I paid was actually less than their estimate. Upon completion of the work, I got an immediate follow-up call from Lana, to make sure I was satisfied with their service! As with any household appliance, we hope not to have to make repairs. But in the future, when I need any appliance repairs done, I will definitely call Elite Appliance!

I was referred by another appliance place since apparently people do not want to work on old appliances. He also questioned why I wanted something so old fixed if possible and after hearing my reasoning understood. He looked up the parts the other company said I needed while we were on the phone, told me the ones that were still available, ones that were not. I asked him to order what the other company said and he said no, let me look at it first. He actually showed up! He tested everything and said I cannot recreate the noise you said you heard, (true, did not make any grinding noise, not a peep as I was standing right next to him) nor is it leaking as the other place told you, put the dishwasher back in the kitchen and use it. He could have said you need to replace the $350 motor, pump, etc., but was honest and probably thought I was nuts going without a dishwasher this long but I just did what the other company said, don't use it until....Naturally, never heard back from those two people. Being old, this is the type of company, customer service and honesty I grew up with which is now sadly lacking in almost everything. This is how a company should be run and I will be using them for all my appliances from now on as long as it is RANDY!
