We've been customers for several years and they have always been responsive and arranged to come quickly, as they understand that many of their customers truly rely on the chairs. They are fairly priced and even have gently used and renovated chair systems that you can purchase reasonably. They also are very neat in their work and take the time to leave your home cleaner than when they came!

This company provided me with the worst service experience of my life 1.5 years ago. I deliberately…read morewaited a while to write a review because 1) I was very emotional about it and 2) I waited for a limited warranty. I had an old Acorn stairlift in my home that stopped working and I called RL Safe home to fix it. After about 10 minutes, I was told that its basically dead and to service it would be very costly and not really worth it. This call cost $250.00. For 10 minutes. He then told us that they have units in stock that they could install within a day or two of purchase and that they would put the money from the service call towards the cost of the purchase. We took the next day off from work and went the moment the store opened, picked a unit out that was in stock. We made a deal on the price and immediately following that, he added more money onto it for rods that were longer. I thought this was a little smarmy since we negotiated the price already and he had the measurements of my stairs when he did this, however, I just wanted this installed immediately. They told me it could absolutely be installed within 2 days because they had to pick up the rods. The first day they were supposed to come, they didn't show and didn't call. I called and was told they'd be there first thing the following morning. The next day - Again, no show, no call. I desperately called and left messages. I spoke to Maryanne and let her know that my husband was having to crawl up the stairs and it was very painful and unsafe. She was very sweet and told me she didn't know what was going on and would find out for me. She told me they'd be there by the end of the day. Again, no show, no call. Conveniently (for them) I had only 3 days to cancel the order. On this third day, I tried, but they wouldn't answer/return my call and they officially had my money hostage. I didn't have more money to give another company, and it would take too long to go to small claims if they didn't refund it promptly. Bottom line, we needed an immediate solution. The next day was the day before Thanksgiving. More desperate calls and false promises for me. The owner refused to talk to me. Maryanne told me they would be there. Nope. Again, now show, no call. Thanksgiving passed. Friday came by, no call, now show... until 6:00 at night. They told me the reason they didn't come was because they got a last minute install for an elderly lady that took longer than expected. They frankly should not have accepted the project or put it before our pre-existing install. I told them that none of this was an excuse for the lack of communication where I took off from work to be available to them for over 3 days. Richard only said "yes we could've handled this better". That's it. This was the first time a service provider made me cry for days and hate Thanksgiving. The install itself was fine. The product works fine.

Thank you RLSafeHome! What a difference you've made in my life - not so long ago I was considering…read morea move (as you know), leaving my much-loved, seaside home of over 20 years, adding insult to injury. I called on Richard (and crew) to see what could be done. After a thoughtful consultation I was relieved & surprised to find how much they could do to keep me here, despite. The solutions proposed, the quality, timely work that was ultimately performed, the on-going support and the more than fair price are among the reasons I'll continue to use and recommend RL to anyone with mobility issues. I can't tell you how much it means to me to be able to carry-on almost as freely as I did prior to the injuries. Thanks 1,000,000!
