Just wanted to drop a quick review. I heard about this gun shop on Reddit, a lot of locals saying this spot was a hidden gem and for a while I needed to get my FX9 fixed. Decided to stop by and see if they could help me. The Whole staff was very welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. Alex is the one who helped me out. I was able to get my Fx9 fixed. On top of that picked up an extra mag, some hollow points and I was even able to put an M&P 2.0 on layaway. What was initially suppose to be just a fix turned into a cool experience and I also learned some new things about my firearms. The ammo and everything in there is very reasonably priced. You definitely get your bang for your buck. I'll definitely be stopping by more frequently and I will tell my buddies about my experience. read more

This place is the worst gun dealership.I have ever been into and I have been into buying selling target shooting and collecting firearms for over thirty years. Please read this: recently sold my fourth gen glock 22 that fires 40 sw ammo. I bought\n29 mm, 6 hours.So I called this shop and asked if they purchased brand new yet previously purchased ammunition , and they said absolutely bring it on down , particularly that caliber they were interested in. I also asked them if they bought level 2 outdoor carry holsters. ( i had a law enforcement grade holster for my glock , 19 gen5 and a few others. Anyway, when I get down there, they said, go ahead and pull it out of my backpack, they started sifting through it like they were at the thrift store and just tossing stuff around saying no, junk, already got too many of these etc. Now, when it came to the ammunition, it was boxed with the original price tag, made by a company called Sierra. He starts going through them telling me they are reloads. Mind you , I know , ammunition and firearms , so I straight out called him a liar. Some of the ammunition was mixed , which I understood that , but I had every box. So I offered to go outside , organize them all , so they're in their proper boxes. And he says, when I get back in, you know what not going to bother with these they're worthless, they're reloads, anyway, no thanks.. they acted like because they worked at a gun store that they were three times better of a human being than I am and we're wall street brokers compared to the crackhead on the corner. I left that store more hurt and angry than I had been in a long time.I will never go back.It is a rinky-dink, little store.Anyway , and I would advise none of you ever go there , all of those guys acted like that every single one of them. I have been a customer for many years but have had to quit shooting due to Parkinson's Disease. I have bought and sold many, many guns from Accuracy. I have NEVER had a problem with any of the sales people and, in fact, have had a great experience every time I have been there - buying or just looking/visiting. I have been in several other gun shops/stores over the years but none are as friendly or knowledgeable as the people at Accuracy. I never shop anywhere else because I know I can trust them in every way. They have a wide selection of used firearms and if you are looking for some hard to find older rifle or pistol, this is the place to go first. read more

(writing on behalf of my husband who had the interaction) **************THIS PLACE SHOULD GET A ZERO RATING************* As soon as we walked in, the ONE guy (Mr. Hillbilly) gave off a very dismissive and unfriendly attitude -- the kind that makes you feel unwelcome from the start. When I attempted to make a purchase, he took one quick look at a California ID in my wallet and immediately shut down the sale without asking a single question. What he failed to realize -- or even bother to find out -- is that I also had a valid Nevada driver's license and a federal ID card, which should have taken precedence in this situation. Instead of asking for clarification or even treating me like a human being, they jumped to conclusions and acted as if they were looking for a reason to deny service. To make matters worse, the whole interaction felt loaded with judgment; take a while guess why....(skin color may give you a hint) -- the kind of look and tone that made it hard not to suspect there were deeper biases at play. This could've been a straightforward, respectful exchange if they'd just asked a few basic questions. Gun shops should be places of professionalism and integrity -- not snap judgments and poor customer service. I won't be returning, and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone who expects to be treated fairly and with respect. read more

Wish I could give less stars. I came here for gunsmithing services. I dropped my pistol off in December, a small spring had came off while I was cleaning it and I couldn't figure out where it went, so I brought it here to have them put it back. After literally 2.5 months the gunsmith finally called me back to say he couldn't figure it out. He and the manager made plenty excuses saying it was missing parts and would need to be sent off to Ruger to be fixed. I picked up my pistol and it was completely dismantled and taken apart, it was seriously jaw dropping to see they did all of that just to tell me they inevitably couldn't fix it. They didn't even bother to put my pistol back in the condition I brought it in, they also misplaced the case I brought my gun in with, and there was also extra parts in the bag they gave me my gun back in. I took it to another gun smith in town and it was fixed in 2 hours and he showed me all the extra parts they just threw in the bag with my pistol. Communication from the shop was subpar ( I had to call them every month for an update and they just kept giving me the run around), leadership was nonexistent and gun smithing skills were mediocre at best. I would never come back or recommend, there's plenty of shops in town that can deliver. read more

First i want to say this is my first time ever writing a bad review. I've heard nothing but negative things from this store and they all seem to be true now.... I called and asked if they can un-jam and oil and grease my firearm. The guy who answered said yes, no problem we have it done quick. Come by at 11am once our gun smith gets here. I asked how much it would be and he said it would be $45 to oil and clean the firearm and they would un-jam it in the process.... So i bring my firearm in, they take the jammed shell casing out. Then they turn around and tell me it would be a 3-4 week wait to get my firearm back??? after the same guy just told me it would be done quick while i was in the store... I told him i didn't anticipate such a long wait and i would take it somewhere else with a quicker turn around time.... and He still proceeded to charge me $45..... I feel robbed. Just wanted to review because of the encounter I personally had. Did a gun transfer with them and everything went good and smooth. But... I had a horrible encounter with an gentleman as soon as I got to the counter. My brother and I were being helped by another associate and said person budded into our transaction just to attack me for wearing a UFC T-shirt. Saying that my generation is re*tarded and cussing up a storm about why he didn't like my shirt. Not once was he addressed, he took it upon himself to give his 2 cents of what he thought. I find this so unprofessional being that he seemed to carry himself differently with everyone else in the shop. I would love to come back but unfortunately having that unprofessional person working there I rather drive 30 minutes to a professional shop. read more

I came in because I was having trouble with a bodyguard 2.0 that I bought at another store. I went in to see if I could get a gunsmith to fix a failure to feed issue that I was experiencing with hollow point ammunition. I was informed that there wasn't a current gunsmith working, but the salesman Mateo took it upon himself to personally help me out. He test fired the gun and mixed up different types of hollow point ammunition to make sure it didn't malfunction. He was very helpful and insightful, and he gave me great tips to avoid another malfunction. He also recommended me some great hollow point ammunition that my gun was able to fire and cycle with no problem. Was a repeat customer, who looked past the mediocre service, and lackluster attitudes of the employees, but will not be returning after they refused to sell a firearm to a close friend of mine, (a legal gun owner), because I, (a legal gun owner and CCW possessor) called ahead for him to check the availability of a firearm. They said they are shutting down the sale, and found it sketchy and "convoluted, and seems like a straw purchase" even after I offered to come down and show my CCW, and pass a background check so that my friend may purchase the firearm. I find the assumption of criminal intent to be offensive and an appalling business practice in a time where gun owners are already so passionately persecuted. read more

I had the unfortunate opportunity to do a gun transfer at this shop over the weekend. As a new gun owner, I went with the intention of buying ammo, a gun skin and case for it as well to have a nice set up. One of the guys interrupted our transaction judging on my sister's apparel and went on an entire rant on how our younger generation is trash. As a business owner, I don't and would never allow this kind of behavior towards customers. Seemed to be withholding a lot of hate, and working at a gunnstore does not help the matter! I just bought my first gun! This is where I bought it. Such great service, very knowledgeable and great employees. I recently had to take it in to be fixed. Long story short a friend tried to install something on the gun for me and it didn't go well. The gentleman tried to fix it for me so I wouldn't have to wait long but it turned out to be a matter for the gunsmith. The next day, they called me to let me know it was fixed and to come get it. Found this shop through Yelp in Boulder Highway. I have four guns, three of which needed servicing from lack of use. All three exhibited rust and the .380 ATM Kurz was filthy. The .45 Glock and the .40 Kahr have, for my taste, slightly stiff action. I asked if that could be adjusted and was told the spring could be replaced, but could lead to performance issues later. After doing the paper work, he said the gunsmith is going on vacation soon and couldn't finish the work for three weeks. I can live with that. Shop has an assortment of hefty guns and a pleasant atmosphere. I asked for his favorite gun ranges and he mentioned two that are outdoors and one indoors. I checked websites and was pleased with his recommendations. Good to deal with a shop with expertise in an area I know little about. Looking forward to polishing my skills with my newly refurbished pieces. Does a soul good to know competent, well-run small businesses exist in our community. I came here to look into a Walther Colt Government 1911 model and I saw an identical version from a different maker but when a tall heavy set guy behind the counter didn't bother in helping me in deciding, he had an "I don't know and don't care" behaviour in fact he was more into pleasing a nearby group of gun enthusiast crowd I presumed sharing related issues, etc;. Nonetheless, I bought an item as needed, paid and left. As I made my way out halfway leaving, in that same group from earlier was a customer that went and yelled *BaM! .. and they all burst out laughing like it was something funny while several looking at my direction. It took me awhile to realise what just happen looking back thru the glass door and left. That was messed up beyond of what happened, very unprofessional of the place egging him on and sadly the customer acting the fool. Furthermore of what occurred, I believe it was bottom line racially motivated. For everyone reading, I'd advise checking other stores that's hopefully more courteous, above all helpful and unbiased. My experience visiting this gun store for the first time was a bad one due to a bad customer service. I went to this store specifically to buy a P365 which they have in stock at that time. After waiting for a while for somebody to help me out but the 2 of the guys behind the counter just seem to ignore me. That's when I've decided to just leave. Every time I've gone there to get my gun & background check, they've always had a problem with me. Next to last time it was an issue with my address, I didn't have the same one on the paperwork as i did on my license. I was told I couldn't get my background or gun until I changed the address on my ID. I did that, which ended up taking 4 weeks. Come to find out, I never had 2 do that. They were wrong. Now, this last time, I was told I couldn't get anything because they thought I was buying the gun for someone else. The problem was, I had a few guns I purchased online, going to different shops, they were transfers. The guy asked me if it was a hand gun or rifle, etc. I told him I had to look it up because I couldn't remember which gun I had transfered to them, I have other guns being transfered to different store. It was taking me a while because my phone was messing up while standing there. Then, I get a phone call from my child with a problem at my home. When I finally found the receipt for the gun, I told him which one it was, he goes in the back, brings out the gun, then tells me he can't give it to me because he thinks I'm buying it for someone else. He said " you didn't know wha kind of gun, & then u get a phone call, having someone tell you what it is". I explained to him everything about why I didn't know what gun it was & it was my child on the phone from home. He told me again he wasn't going to let me get my gun, he thinks I'm buying it for someone else. Not only was I embarrassed by him, saying that in front of everybody there, but how can he prove that I'm buying for someone else? Every time I go there I have problems. My opinion, theyre mad cuz I didn't buy my guns from there, I had them transferred. The main thing I think though, is theyre prejudice against women. I've never seen a woman in there any time I've been there. I get treated rudely like I dont know anything about guns. I honestly truly think theyre prejudice against women. At least, ME read more
