I bet you will find the fee to be the same after you pay for co-pays, parking and all the additional fees. Or instead you can go to Northwestern where they tack on fees left and right and make you wait for weeks for your results and then multiple appointments later plus the stress of waiting and you've already likely paid the $390 anyway in co-pays and fees cause insurance is BS. I started at NW and had months of stress and appointments. Never again. The piece of mind is worth every penny. Do it. Trust me.

He provides a calm atmosphere, excellent x-ray technicians, and his immediate attention to my current test results. I am guessing all that must have created a lot of new patients. I am now 65 and can't afford the $390 concierge fee and am looking for a new facility for my mamogram. I am disappointed that he is my third Northwestern Memorial doctor that has skipped down the road to become a concierge doctor. I have other specialists at University of Chicago Med, they never do this, only the NWM doctors go this route. I know he is the best and hires the best x-ray techs (never cause me pain). By reducing his patient population, I seriously hope he is able to help breast cancer patients that need constant imaging.

She said they'd schedule me when the radiologist is there and he can use an ultrasound. Scheduled the appointment and then scheduled my appt with my doc to go over everything. When I get there I mention to them about the radiologist and the ultrasound and they don't say anything. The tech starts to look for a vein. The worst experience I've ever had with someone trying to find a vein!!!!! He had to use two tunicates. He stabbed me twice and as he was failing miserably with the 3rd attempt I bring up the radiologist and the ultrasound. HE IS NOT THERE!! And he won't be in next week!! I had an appointment 1/17/17 at 10:30 am. I checked in at 10:35. The receptionist said that the appointment was at 10.15 and I was 30 minutes late. We went back and forth and I told her the voicemail said 10.30. She said there might be an 11 and another receptionist chimed in and said if she doesn't come between 10.45 and 11 you can have that appointment. I waited and went to the desk, it was 11.02 and someone walked in and checked in. I asked if I can still have the 11, she said that the appointment came and I can't. I asked why her previous statement did not apply and she remarked I didn't even have an appointment. Overall this was a very unnerving and unprofessional experience. If someone in their office makes an error they should own up to it instead of deflecting accountability. Hopefully Illinois Masonic will yield better experiences in the future.

Worst experience ever... I should have gone to a traditional hospital to do this procedure.... I…read morewas told no needles or stiches would be needed but that was not the case as the doctor accidentally hit an artery which caused a massive hematoma. As the procedure was happening, he was sweating like crazy and looking and sounding terrified. This was a long and painful recovery. I was told I could not be given anything stronger than Advil/over the counter and made to feel like this was normal, yet my parts were the size of a large softball. Additionally, my medical insurance covers the procedure 100% but they said I didn't hit my deductible or out of pocket so had me pay. Months later I called my insurance company, and they confirmed that I should not have had to pay them anything so I had to call their office for a refund. I just received the refund.

You have to babysit these people when scheduling an MRI. Best to call each day to get a status…read moreuntil you know it's approved and if they don't give you a status ask for a manager. Otherwise they will put in to the insurance company for approval at the last minute and not give enough time for approval and cancel. I recommend staying on top of them daily for a status and verify with your insurance company as well that they have submitted for approval.
