My doctor gave me a referral for this location. Very nice office with a smooth check in process. The tech was very attentive and made sure I was comfortable. Bonus points for speed. I recently was at another doctor for a follow up appointment and the assistant asked if I would be able to contact this office for a copy of my records. They said they would locate them and fax them over. They literally took care of it within 15 minutes and my doctor was able to review these notes during my appointment which saved me time and a follow up appointment. Thank you! read more

They were incredibly patient and kind. The X-ray technician was very gentle with my injured hand and explained clearly how she wanted me to position my fingers for each image. I didn't have to wait very long beforehand and afterwards they had me wait a few minutes and then sent me off with a CD of the images for my records. It was one of the gentlest and easiest appointments I've ever had. I also overheard another technician explaining to another patient what to expect with the full body imaging. She patiently and thoroughly answered his questions and even took him back to view the machine so he could see what it would be like. just now I can not say enough great things about this business. I am here for a third MRI. The staff is amazing. Jessica is a sweetheart, great listener and patient. First time getting and MRI. After looking for different places, luckily I came across MRI Lincoln Imaging Center . Employees here are very professional and very polite . The proces was quick and easy and I'm highly satisfied. I would recommend to anyone , specially in times where the healthcare system is not the best, and MRI's can be very expensive! read more

Do Not Use! Be aware. This is a discount MRI. The reception area is like an oil change place with loud gossip TV on in the waiting room. The staff is not very helpful. I was instructed to change and told to use the washroom if I needed. I changed and looked for a washroom but couldn't find one. I waited 5 minutes for the tech to come back. I asked where the washroom was and she pointed me down the hall. I passed several doors and didn't see it. So I asked her again and she said at the end. When I was done she told me she waited for me because she didn't want to me get lost. I was taken to a closed MRI. I tohave claustrophobia and told them and said you can have the open MRI. That's what I had scheduled for nervous even though it's an open MRI. All my last MRI techs spoke with me and told me what was happening and how long each phase would last. She never said a word. I had to press the call button 5 times to get her attention to see how much longer it was. She had actually left her station. I took the CD of the MRI to my doctor and looked at the results. The images were blurry and sections of the spine were not tested. When I called to let them know, they told me I would have to bring the disc back and get another one. They should've checked the disc before giving it to me. I'm in pain and can't travel very far. They told me the doctor would have to request a new disc and that they would mail it. So my doctors appointment was a waste and now I have to wait for them to mail it to see home again. Stay away from these people if you can. read more

I just took a train 40 minutes from River North and walked 10 minutes to this place from the Western Brown line for my "appointment" today, only to be told they didn't have time to see me because whoever does the X-Rays is leaving at 2. That's exactly why I CALLED TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT and had to take time "sick" off work to- come in before then. They said "oh well we get walk-ins too", great, so someone who walks in off the street takes precedence over your appointment? I'm going to find this place on every website it exists and leave this same review, absolutely ridiculous, this is not how you run a business. I get THREE sicks days a YEAR, and just used one for this B.S., and also now don't have the X-rays I need for my follow up with my surgeon. Awesome. read more

If it would have been at all possible I would have given this place 1 star based on my experience of dealing with the billing department. I had an MRI a couple of months ago and had major issues getting reimbursed after paying as self-pay. After getting on the phone with my carrier and Marie (from MRI Lincoln), the insurance rep informed Marie all she needed to do was submit the bill and it would have been covered and paid. Having worked as a consultant in the medical field, especially concerning billing, I decided to record the conversation and let both parties know in advance. At the end of the call Marie assured me the bill would be submitted and taken care of. A few weeks passed so I checked with my carrier to see if the bill had been paid. It was never sent. I got back on the phone with Marie and another rep from my insurance and this time I heard a different story from Marie. She informed me they were not going to submit the bill and that I was out of luck getting reimbursed because she said I didn't have a referral at the time of my visit. Not only did I have a referral on the day of my appointment, I had a backup from the clinic. In fact, on the day of the visit, the receptionist shredded the referral (a procedure I later found to be necessary. However, they scanned the copy of the referral into the system before shredding). I decided to contact the director, Hilda Camilia, who investigated what was going on and was able to set the record straight. I was able to get reimbursed within two days. I don't like seeing anyone losing their job, but Marie just flat out lied to me and my insurance carrier about everything in my conversation with her on those two separate phone calls. Recording the conversation was key in presenting the information to Hilda so that she could listen to what was being said by Marie. What was also damning for Marie was the copy of the referral was still in the system. I don't know how she could have not covered herself if she were going to outright lie about it. Marie. I should have believed the reviews! I had an appointment Monday morning and when I arrived I was told they didn't have my appointment scheduled. I then went through the process of giving them all of my information again in order to reschedule for today. I arrived at my 8am appointment this morning where I was first told it was at 8:30am, and then that my insurance didn't approve the MRI! They claim to have spoken to me yesterday, but they definitely did not as I only have one phone number with no missed calls or voicemails. When my insurance issue is resolved I absolutely will NOT return to Lincoln Imaging. -- Update: Today I had time to call my insurance provider to see why my MRI was denied. Not only was it NOT denied, I don't even need pre-authorization for an MRI. Lincoln Imaging is just completely incompetent. I will be asking my doctor for an order for any place other than Lincoln Imaging. 0 stars should be an option. read more

My doctor wanted me to get a chest xray as I had acute bronchial asthma. I went straight from the dr's office to MRI imaging on 2/12 around 4.15p and was informed that the technician was not in and to return the following day and they are open until 5.00p. I called at 3.30p on 2/13 to inform that I will be there at 4.00p for my x - ray and was informed by the receptionist that the technician is leaving at 4.00p and for me to come another day. I was livid with anger and informed her that she should have informed me the previous day about the Technician leaving early and they were not offering efficient service to their patients. The receptionist put me on hold to check with the Technician whether she will be available. I was then informed that the Technician will be available until 5.00p. I was taken in and got my chest X - ray. Two other people who came after me for x - rays were also taken in. Suffice to say if I had not stood my ground they would not have taken me that day as the technician was leaving early. I am appalled at the way they put the patients last for important services which may be life threatening. read more

I hate going the doctor! Every time I go complaining about this, that, or the other thing they always send me to the hospital for some long drawn out test. THIS IS WHY I NEVER GO! However, there was an alarming pain in my abdomen and it wasn't going away. He sent me to get an MRI and CT scan. (He recommended I go to Northwestern Hospital). I was like HELL NO! Last time I went there I had to wait in the ER for 7 hours. I Googled around for centers and found the Lincoln Imaging Center. I still hate scans and tests and doctors...but I have to say that my experience at the center was pleasant. I called and was able to get in the next day...it only took 1 hrs for both exams...they had a 24 hr turn around rate for results (I got to take the images home too) and the staff was very friendly. I found out they have other locations....I recommend there independent centers to anyone having to get tests done. read more

just finished a lumbar MRI in the open scan machine and it was the most pleasant MRI experience of my life! i got an appointment within two days and only waited about ten minutes. the front desk staff as well as the tech were all nice, caring and thorough and i'd never go elsewhere for an MRI!! I hate the process but I was so at ease I had to rush home to write this review! Pricing is also fair-- I paid $627.50 for an MRI last year with insurance and at MRI lincoln imaging they're about $325. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! thanks so much team! read more

I give this facility a F! The imaging center opens at 9 a.m.. When I arrived at 9:10 there were two patients waiting ahead of me. The technicians were arriving after 9:10. They spent much of their time standing around laughing and socializing among each other while the waiting room was filling up with patients. By 9:45 the two people waiting ahead of me were anxious. At 10:10 they finally called in the two people who were ahead of me. I asked the receptionist what was taking so long. She told me they would take care of me in a few minutes. It was 10:45 and I was still waiting. I got up and told the receptionist that I was leaving. I did not want to give any business to a group of people who were so inconsiderate. I was late for work. What a lousy facility. Since you have to rate this business in order to post I give them a negative star. read more

I was referred to this place by an urgent care facility for an ultra sound for my kidneys. My doctor said they scheduled me for the next morning and all I have to do is show up. I get to the MRI center and they said I'm not in the system and they don't have me scheduled for an appt. And then proceed to say "we are completely full today so even if your doctor sends in the order for the ultra sound, we can't get you in" oh how sweet of you. The entire front desk staff was unprofessional, immature and rude. I then call my doctors office and explain to them what's going on. They said they sent an email to a specific woman. So I tell the front desk that a lady by the name of .... should have it. Funny how when you say someone's name, people are held accountable and the problem was miraculously resolved. I sit down in the waiting room and mind you nobody has motioned for me to come over. I can just hear them all talking behind the front desk. This is the only way I knew they were "getting me into the system" great so I sit patiently. Doctors office called and said everything should be squared away. I proceed to wait an hour an half until my ultra sound. Which is fine, I get it, the mix up happened. I'm just happy to be seen by a medical professional at this point... or so I thought. Let me preface this with, I've been sick and in pain for days and I've never had an ultra sound. A woman calls my name and takes me to a room and says "put things on chair and lay on table." I do as I'm told. I can barely understand what she is saying because her accent is so thick. She doesn't explain one thing she is doing. She just lifts my shirt and tells me to turn over and starts jabbing at my ribs with her probe, or whatever it's called. Again, she literally didn't explain anything to me! I asked one question "does everything look ok?" She snips at me "i send results to radiologist" I still have no idea if they're not allowed to tell you what they are seeing. But she was so rude and cold. I am shocked that she is employed! I wait until she is finished and I ask how long it typically takes for results. She seemed frustrated, and said she would send them to the radiologist. I said ok, so how will I find out the results? She sighed heavily and said "your doctor will call" she looked at the chart and said my name. As if I'm the doctor. Shouldn't you know the name of your patient? Then says "good luck." I never write bad reviews. I'm in the service industry. I always give people the benefit of the doubt. We all have bad days. But this woman is unfit for this job. Please avoid this place at all costs. I left in tears and will probably have bruises on my ribs from her jabbing me so hard. And at this point I won't trust whatever results come of this. it is weird to review an imaging center and I can only speak to my experience of having a standard 20 week fetal anatomy scan (more pleasant than an MRI, I am sure) but scheduling here was very easy as opposed to the numerous hospitals I contacted who had limited, not-available-for-months scheduling that didn't account for my or my partner's schedule. It was a cinch and the women who scheduled me were very kind, called me back to confirm and remind me of some things, etc. Same goes for the ultrasound tech who was lovely and accommodating. the waiting room has very comfortable chairs and some beautiful plants that I think are real and, if so, impressively lush. There is also beautiful artwork of cherubs on the ceiling. the best part is that after the appointment is over you can go have dinner at Jibek Jolu, which is right next door. I know for a fact that Northwestern Medical is nowhere NEAR any delicious Kyrgyz options. read more

I just spent two days with billing trying to get a simple estimate for services. I really felt they did not want to do their job. I was told they charge $1500 to BCBSIL PPO. I know there is a negotiated price and that is all I was aking for. I have had about 6 mris done in the past and the reports were always the same Spondylolysis l5s1 ( that I had a spinal fracture) several months ago I had another mri to see how my condition was progressing I specifically asked them for the same reading technician to do the written report because I checked him out and he has over 35 years experience and felt comfortable with him and was told that was not a problem , A few days later when I got the report I was surprised to see that It was done by a different doctor not even listed on the Lincoln Mri website as one of their radiologists that only had a few years experience and my previous condition was NOT listed on the written report. Could my fracture just disappear , thats great, Im in severe pain but my problem disappeared So my doctor sent me in for a ct scan. That report showed that it is still present and getting worse. I contacted Lincoln mri about the issue and asked to have the cd sent to a different doctor for the report and was again told , that would not be a problem . and every time i contacted them to see if the report was in I was given an excuse , and in the end I was given the run around for about 3 weeks. Before my X-Ray they wanted me to sign a form saying that my claim had been denied and as a result I was in financial hardship/medical indigence. I understand that they may have only wanted this to help me deal with my insurance company in case my insurance claim was denied, but that doesn't change the fact that it wasn't true at the time they wanted me to sign it. The form also said that if I refused to sign it I would be responsible for pursuing and appealing all unpaid claims myself - I was completely fine with not signing it and taking that responsibility, but even when I pointed that out they refused to provide any services without me signing the form. read more

I called this morning a few minutes after nine to see if this place was open and if they could take my eighty- year- old father for an X ray. They were open and I asked if I needed any appointment for around eleven o'clock. The reply was no appointment necessary, they were not booked, and I could bring my father any time before three. I come to this place a quarter past eleven and Perla, the receptionist, said there were four people in front of us (that is fine, they were walk-ins), but what was the most interesting that the x-ray technician had to go to lunch and my father would not be seen until 1:30pm. When I asked to speak with the supervisor/manager, I was told no, not to get Perla and Ivonne in trouble. I had to leave the place, I did not take my father's medicine, the half hour visit turned into three hour waiting. Just another perfect example of how our seniors are being treated, thank you for your service. read more

I was so blessed by the tech he was such a positive person as he talked to me and continued with the process preventing me from thinking about how afraid.
