We bought a gas fireplace from Northwest Natural Appliances in Portland. They suggested an installer from their area and we had already called Accurate Installers in Battle Ground. David, from Accurate, had already been to our home to give us an estimate. I did the original demo work myself and needed to have a mason come in to beef up the lintel bar. David happened to call Shane, who was in the area. Within a half hour Shane showed up and discussed what would need to be done. David suggested we have Shane do the masonry work and build the frame for the fireplace from CMU,, rather than using wood. Cost would be about the same and he would coordinate with Shane to get the work done. Using CMU made it easier to address necessary clearance issues dealing with combustibles near the fireplace. David got an estimate to us within a day. The other company I called did not do any masonry and I would have had to hire an independent person to come in before they could start working. I called Accurate and talked to Heather, super lady. She was always positive and upbeat. We decided to have the work done by Accurate. Bid in hand and date set all seemed good. Suddenly David had to delay due to a personal injury, so we rescheduled. No problem. When the next date rolled around, my wife and I both tested positive for COVID so we had to put off the installation again. Heather and David understood and did everything necessary to make it work. Finally got together for the install. David and the Accurate crew showed up to install the fireplace, Masons showed up shortly after them. Between the two of them they got everything installed in one day. My wife and I chose to do the finish work on the exterior ourselves. David was easy to work with and the masons were efficient and made the day an adventure. Both companies were down to earth hard working people. We were happy with the job. Kudos to Heather and David. Chad & Josh came out and serviced my propane fireplace. They thoroughly cleaned the entire fireplace including the lower service panel, the glass window, and the exhaust duct, and the "logs". They carefully replaced the embers, installed a new fan, and connected the battery backup. Their work was outstanding! One thing that really impressed me was that they were very respectful of my home. They removed their shoes before entering my home -- without having to be asked and immediately placed two large clean drop cloths around the fireplace are to protect my carpeting. They even draped their vacuum cleaner so that it did not exhaust dust into my living room. Afterward, they rolled everything up into the drop cloths and left no debris behind. They remained another 20 minutes to make sure the fireplace was functioning perfectly and the new fan was operating correctly before departing. They were completely professional, knowledgable, and answered all my questions. I will definitely be using this business again and referring my friends. read more

Great company to work with. I was referred by a chimney sweep service to these folks. From the first time I called and left a voicemail I was contacted the same day. I was given several possible dates/times for a free quote. Dave came out and called ahead of time to let me know he was on his way. He spent a long time getting measurements and showed me pictures and options. I next spoke with Heather who gave me a full quote via email the following day. We live in a 1980s era ranch style house. For over 25 years we have been using a wood pellet stove insert in our roughhewn stone fireplace. We decided we wanted to have the ease and convenience of LP. I first started researching propane LP inserts and then tanks and leasing options and did not find a supplier that met our needs, although we easily decided on a particular insert. Through this process, we then started researching companies that could install the LP lines and found a Clark county company that sounded very promising--Accurate Installers. These guys are great! My mothers HVAC is down so she wanted to use the gas fire place to stay warm but it would not start. I called at least five companys to help, but no one would come out for days or weeks. Accurate Installers said we will drop everything and get your mom some heat.
