We had Haven Pool and Spa replace the liner on our above ground pool. We bought the pool during the…read morepandemic and the company insisted we would easily be able to install the liner ourselves. This was not true and although we were able to install it ourselves it was not perfect and we had to replace the liner within a one year. We installed it ourselves again and it leaked around the skimmer until the end of last summer when thoughts of just taking the pool down (due having to refill the pool daily) entered our minds. Our skills were obviously not up to par in pool liner installation so in March of this year we decided to inquire about getting some help from Haven Pool and Spa. We are so pleased this is what we did. Admittedly, we were taken aback at the price of buying a liner and getting it installed as it was as much as we paid for the pool. However, knowing that it took us days to do it ourselves (and it was not done correctly in the end), forced us to make the decision to have the professionals do it for us. Boy, did it make a difference and we truly wish this is the way we would have done it in 2020. Patty offered great design input, while the Lakewood team efficiently installed the fireplace and even set the stone fireplace surround. The 6000CLX is a huge upgrade from our previous fireplace. We now have a truly all-season gas fireplace with a lot of flexibility. During the winter, the higher flame settings and built-in fan add a lot of needed warmth to the downstairs. In the spring and fall mornings and evenings, the lower flame settings add a warm ambiance. On summer evenings, the electric embers feature adds an nice accent without the heat. We ended up getting them hooked up ourselves, and when my husband called the lady answered the phone and said "what do you want". I called today to have someone come out because we are not getting hot water to our home and was yelled at, told to shut up, and then hung up on. Again, DO NOT USE THEM. You will not get your money worth and will deal with terrible people.

Bought one of their most expensive gas fireplaces from Travis Industries. The unit was not…read moreproperly vented when it was installed and Lisac's and Travis both refuse to come out and fix it. Tried to use it one time, just for ambiance but after about 45 minutes my carbon monoxide detectors went off and the fire department had to come out and vent out my house in the middle of winter. I was told by the fire department TVF&R not to use this again until it is properly vented, I called Travis and they told me I need to burn the fireplace for at least an hour to break it in, I told him (think his name was Mark) that it gives off carbon monoxide and he told me I needed to open a window. Of course you probably won't survive! Prior to that incident, Lisac sent out three different techs to fix the unit. Each worked for a couple of hours moving things around and opening and closing vents but never got the unit to do what it supposed to do. This unit is advertised as heating 3,000 square feet, but mine you'd have to lean against the glass to even know it was on. Spoke with Scott at Lisac and he had no interest in getting my fireplace to work, acted like it wasn't their fault or concern. So, here I am with a beautiful and very expensive fireplace that is not good for much of anything. Thank you Lisac's and Travis Industries. Stay clear of both of these companies, there are plenty of other really good fireplace shops and fireplace manufacturers, you don't have to settle ones that just don't care.

He's an old school businessman, something you'd see back in the 50's. He practically trained to maintain my fireplace, but I'll still call for the annual check up. Rob also edified me on pellet brands. Being a skeptic, I tried about 5 different brands and sure enough, he was dead right on the Packsaddle brand. Even though it was twice as much as the cheapest brand i won't use anything else now. With Rob's fine tuning my old Whitfield is producing three times the amount of heat now. I'm going to be saving some money on pellets! HIGHLY RECCOMEND!
