Then Tom showed up saying "my fence guy wants to do a wood/wire fence instead...he says it will still match your existing fence." I asked about price adjustment, he said it was more expensive but he wouldn't charge anything. This was a horrible decision. Fence looks like a middle school project. It took me a month to finally get Tom (owner) to come out. Stain was not complete, rough cuts were left as-is, latch didn't latch. When he finally came out, he had a ton of excuses. He "fixed" the latch by inserting a piece of wire to jimmy the latch. Told my wife that "the stain just looks different in the sun and it's completely stained (it's not). Told her the rough cuts and ripped/frayed edges were normal (I was out of town). I asked him to come back when I was home, it took almost two weeks to get him back. He told me the same, when I confronted him about the wire piece "fix" he said "not me". Said rough cuts/frays "can be filed but will change the look of the fence". I told him I wanted the fence re-stained and to have his office contact me with a date so I could be home. That was 2 months ago. I'm simply chalking it up to "shame on me for this choice" and doing the fix myself.

We had to sue this company due to shoddy workmanship and used materials that should have been taken…read moreto the dump. They build a deck with the wrong materials, the Trex was so old it should have never been reused. The screws weren't correct and the spindles were to wide and not long enough. In the wind, some of the spindles weren't attached and they bang in the wind.They are a safety hazard because babies could crawl under and thru them to their death on the big rocks below which is about a 12 foot drop. They also didn't attach braces under the deck so it can easily fall down. The concrete patio they poured under the deck cracked from one end to the other in less than a week. We could only sue for the amount we paid them. After paying the lawyer to deal with them, we had less than 10k left. It's going to cost over 42k to remove and replace everything. Hire them at your own risk!!!!

We ended up purchasing two different sealers as the finish we were looking for differed on each project. We were very happy with the outcome! It's kind of hard to see from the main street, and depending on what direction you're coming from, entrance into their parking lot can be a bit tricky. FYI, their parking lot is gravel. Through no fault of Concrete Specialty Supply, I had purchased a product that wasn't what was expected. I made the situation worse, by applying the product over an entire pad without fully testing it first to see how it looked when dry. As I was trying to figure out how to fix my issue, I wound up speaking with CSS owner, Mark B. and to my surprise, I suddenly had a strong advocate. Mark spoke with the manufacturer on my behalf, who provided replacement product. Mark personally delivered the replacement product to my home and to my astonishment, helped me greatly by applying a remover and absorbent medium so I could start fresh. Mark refused payment for the supplies he provided nor the time spent applying them. During my initial conversation with Mark, I remarked that I was not a contractor, just a homeowner and his response was, "Every customer is important to me, big or small. It doesn't matter." He also mentioned his vendors stand by their products. I can state without a doubt, that Concrete Specialty Supply will treat you right and value your business whether it is large or small and they have chosen vendors who feel that way too. It took days for him to make printable and send it to my email. The bill for the inspection was $475 and when I asked what should be done I was told I would need another inspection. Costing $900. What Kurtis called a level 2 inspection. His advice was to tear down the chimney and rebuild because it had been painted. I called out three other companies who said clean it, rebuild the crown, put new caps and it will be fully functional. I would never use this company.
