I was with my brother in law right when the snow hit today in my car accidents with ice on the streets accidents and My car would not steer only drive. I was by UPS Geneva and Main when this happened. This parking lot is horrible and I could not steer. I had to get a tow. It was exactly how long they said 30 minutes and not longer maybe shorter in this weather especially Josh the tow truck driver got us in his truck while he towed the car and us I have a previous foot injury can't walk and my brother in law is very ill with Lukiemia. Josh got us to Merlin's. The guys were waiting for us there as always great service as well as Accurate Towing. Josh got the car off the tow truck. He then drove us home and helped us both in the house. He really went above and beyond his call of duty. I am very thankful and will continue to use Accurate Towing. He works so hard and did such a great job. and kept us safe. And it was rush hour and horrible weather. Thank you Josh from the bottom of our big hearts! Well I have known and worked with and still working with the company as an operator for almost 2 years. Accurate is one company I trust as they are flexible and reliable in any type of situation I have seen other companies that do ok but never like Accurate Towing and Recovery. No matter where needed the company runs like a well oiled machine to overcome anything that is in our way and staying safe while putting our life's on the line day in and day out as we step out of the truck cabs. This past Saturday (2/13 -- lucky 13), Aaron came to my rescue. I was coming home on Route 47 and hit a patch of ice. My car went out of control and I ended up deeply embedded in a snowbank. I called 911 and the sheriffs came to my aid. They called a towing company for me and it was Accurate. I knew if the sheriff's department had Accurate on speed dial that they would have to be a good company. And so they were. They came quickly and even though it was a difficult extraction, Aaron kept working at it until the job was done. After my car was out, Aaron made sure everything was working and driveable and helped me get back on the road safely. I can't thank Accurate enough and especially Aaron. My car would not start, no reaction on dashboard lights. I called a local autoshop, but no one was available to come out. I asked them if they knew any others, because I had a medical appointment I wanted to keep. They recommended Accurate, & I am glad they did. I live on other side of Dekalb, they said they would be there in 15 min. Came on time, told rep. TJ of no battery input. He put charger on points under hood, but mentioned if real low, he might have to go to bigger battery was located. To my surprise, I did not know that some SUV's have them somewhere else. He attached it then behind my passenger seat. TJ said we should wait a little longer, 5 min.'s past, & my car started right up. All of this was done in 1/2 hr., & was able to keep my appointment. We have had to use Accurate towing on multiple occasions ( bummer for us to have so frequent a need) 3 times in 2 months my daughter's hybrid car decided to shut of in the middle of the road with an electrical malfunction. The best was when my husband had to have a work van towed from Skokie to home, yikes! There has been a few flat tires situations too. They are always very friendly and reliable and quick to arrive. These guys were great. My car died on 88 and I called my roadside asst. with ATT. They sent me Accurate towing. They were great, they introduced themselves and told me I could go home and they would take my car to the Midas shop that I requested and they would fill out the paperwork and leave my keys with them. I hit a deer on Plank Road in Sycamore at 9PM on a Sunday night. That is one of the most dangerous roads in our county.
