JJ, the Director of SD Garage, helped me choose through many options, to get the setup that I was envisioning for my 2012 F-150. He helped explain the details of offset, wheel/tire options, and the details of the BDS Lift that I chose. Their quote is better than any other shop that I've approached, and I have to imagine their work is on-par, if not better than other shops. A year after the install, I did have an issue that needed to be addressed. I wasn't clear on the terms of the warranty, because I didn't receive anything in writing at the time of the original installation; I was verbally explained that if there are any issues, reach out to SD Garage and they'll take care of it. Not having any warranty details in writing caused some confusion during the process of getting the issue fixed, but in the end, JJ helped me out. If you choose to go with SD Garage for an install, I recommend asking about the details of their warranty, and getting the information in writing if possible. It will help alleviate any confusion, in case you need to have them address any issue down the line. Bottom Line: Contact SD Garage if you're interested in a lift. They do a great job. *Note* I recently learned that SD Garage is a separate entity from SD Wheel, but there is a relation between the two companies; I'm not entirely clear on the details. I couldn't find SD Garage on Yelp!, so I'm leaving the review with SD Wheel.

Alas - enter stage right - a very "helpful" manager who implored me to remove my Google Review and promised to severely discount a new order (which he did) if I would give SD Wheels another opportunity to earn my business. I should have listened to my own gut instinct and stayed far far away..... 9 days later (clearly shipping is not among their skill sets either - but no worries, they are blaming COVID and Holidays like everyone else - despite in stock items)! Thank you Jeff Bezo's for showing us that CUSTOMER service and supply chain competence DOES exist. Alas, the day came for delivery and install. Not one....rather TWO.....of the long awaited Voxx wheels were opened with significant damage! I give up. Another two hours of waiting for an RMA to UPS them back - only to be jerked around. Had to contact Voxx Wheels directly to get the RMA that sat in SD Wheel's inbox for over an hour. Bottom line up front - CONSIDER other vendors. This place is clearly not ready to sell paper bags let alone custom wheels/tires! Refund finally initiated today. And they would lead you to believe that they've done me a great favor. Second they swapped out my expensive valve covers for cheap plastic ones. When I asked for them back they told me to come by and grab them....they handed me 4 green plastic valve covers. I care about quality and getting my property back the way I dropped it off. After sifting through and digging out 4 random valve stems, I said these are not the ones that were on my car he just gave me a blank stare as if "these are the ones you're getting" I had to purchase another set direct from Audi. You had a week with my wheels. Being family owned you'd think you'd take better care of your customers than a corporation would. The wheel was obviously cleaned with zero care. I wouldn't do such a half baked job when I wash my car myself. You're supposed to be cleaning to to prep for paint, yet it's blatantly obvious whoever did the work is either blind or couldn't care less about the job they're doing. In regards to you wanting me to bring the wheel back.....I don't have more time to take out of my work week to correct something that should have been right the first time. I gave you all 4 wheels and a week to do the job correctly the first time. Frankly I also don't trust you to do a decent job. You've already painted and cleared over brake dust. Instead of stripping and starting over you'd just paint over the brake dust and then clear over that. It's a sloppy job and I'm not interested in having more damage done to my wheels.

I had a lingering issue that my local mechanic (who I generally trust) quickly identified as a bad…read moretransfer case. Above 40mph, my car made a rumbling sound. The repair would cost about $2k. I wanted a second opinion so I brought my car out here, 45 mins from my apartment, but close to my parents. After about an hour or so, they gave me their opinions of what's going on. It was *similar* to what my mechanic said, but instead of the transfer case, they showed me a bolt from my differential that was rubbing and shaving metal shavings into the differential oil. There were several other things. They honestly let me know that it probably wouldn't be ready until Monday at the earliest (this was a Friday afternoon), which made since because this wasn't a quick job, and they needed to get some replacement parts on. Additionally they're only open til noon on Saturday, and not Sundays. I called them on Monday to get an update. Joe explained everything thoroughly to me on the phone. Letting me know how they were planning to resolve the various problems. They also changed their mind on 1 problem, and identified an issue that was masked by the rumbling sounds. This was my front left wheel bearing. They replaced my rear diff, serviced my front driveshaft, transfer case, rear driveshaft, full front left wheel bearing replacement. Indeed it took almost a week to complete, but the problem has been fixed and it's been about 2 weeks now. Also, they get the benefit of the doubt because some of the delay was caused by two of their partners giving bad parts. First, the brought a part for the front, not the rear. Second, another supplier brought in a used part that Joe said was not up to par in quality, so they didn't use it. Extremely pleased with the work, and the staffs knowledge and friendliness. I only really worked with Joe, who was a 10/10, I can only imagine the other managers are as well. Nice job!!!
