I've always gone to Krage's for tires. Great knowledge and service! I wouldn't go anywhere else. I just had tires put on my GMC 3500 dually. Terry helped me picked the tires and made recommendations to make sure I was 100% satisfied.

They got me in quickly and took the time to explain everything to me. Definitely above and beyond the service I was hoping for.

I have been taking my diesel motor homes to Deutsch's since 2001. As the older one was and the newer one is 40' and are pusher's where the engine is located under the bed in the back (I disassemble the floor and I put it back it for them) and at times you have to be a contortion to work on these. I belong to a few motor home groups and on those groups most everyone complains that they can't locate anyone to service their rig, because it is a motor home...The present and past motor homes are on Fleetwood Chassis and I was forced to take each to a Fleetwood dealer during the warranty period and was treated like dirt at any Fleetwood repair place. Don and his team are really good. The place is always busy and they always have taken care of everything either coach has ever needed. They have earned my trust over the years. Like I said, 6- stars

Didn't bother to ask if I had my own fluid (I had 3 gallons under the sleeper compartment)...added 2 gallons to my truck without asking! How do these guys sleep at night? These guys use "bait and switch" tactics to gain new customers. As well, Deutsch's is anti-small business!!! They hate working with independent owner operators, they have been "burned" by too many...exact words of Don the owner. No Don, you haven't gotten burned, you have just been foolish in who you do and don't do business with. So, if you are a small, independent or owner op, don't walk away from this shop, RUN!!! They will bleed you dry! Deutsch's ONLY want large customers like railroads and large fleets to work on. These were Don's exact words to me today as I stood in disbelief at his demands for me to cough up $1,750 TODAY. 10 days ago, he had NO problem giving me 30 days to pay! I am an owner operator with great credit lines for repairs, tires, fuel, truck payments, you name it. I always pay my bills on time and in full. I get that it is risky doing business on credit. Well, I got news for you Don, as risky as it is for you to trust me, it is 100 if not 1,000 times more risky for me finding a new mechanic I can TRUST! I have been in business for 23 years, I can't tell you how many times I have been burned by poor quality, rip-off mechanics. I don't understand how a business can be successful welcoming new customers with open arms, make promises of payment terms, and then, once the work is done, demand immediate payment. Well, I may have been born on a Tuesday, but, it wasn't LAST Tuesday! I politely but firmly told Don threw gritted teeth he'd get his money when it was due, and, if he wasn't willing to work with me on credit, then, he didn't want me as a customer. It is incredible how unreputable so many mechanics are. When you finally DO find a good one, someone you can trust, they are like a valued family member. PS - The railroad is some of the oldest and crookedest money in the history of this nation. Used slave-labor, murdered and ran off tribes of Native Americans. Gleefully working with and taking their money, at least in my humble opinion, makes you an accessory, equally as guilty of their crimes to humanity.

I feel bad writing this updated review because I have mixed feelings about PW Auto Clinic. (Know…read morethat many of the reviews here are for the previous business at this location - The Car Clinic). The steering wheel power telescoping feature on my 2013 Ford F150 failed. I took it to PW Auto Clinic and when I explained the problem in plain English what the problem was, the mechanic simply couldn't understand what I was talking about. I explained the problem repeatedly but he didn't understand what I was saying even though it was simply that the power steering wheel would not telescope. Even so, I got an estimate for $1,300. (Plus $150 for the diagnosis for a total of #1,450.00) I contacted the manager and he said to bring it back in so he could check it out himself. I had informed him that I found out that the mechanism can jam and sent him a link to a video that described how to fix the jam. He then sent me a video clip of him loosening a nut to free up the jam but it was clearly the wrong nut - the one for the tilt feature which works perfectly, not the telescoping feature. But he thought that the telescoping motor was burned out and needed to be replaced because it pulled a lot of amperage. But pulling high amperage can also mean that it's just jammed. I pointed that out to him but he never responded. By then, I had lost confidence in PG Auto Clinic So I took the truck to BSG Automotive in Yorkville. We went out to breakfast while they looked at the truck. I returned within an hour and my truck was in the parking lot already and the diagnosis was completed. In less than an hour, they did the following: They removed the telescoping motor and tested it. It was hot. So they put it in a freezer to cool it down but when they bench tested it, it heated up again and the bi-metallic circuit protector tripped so they knew the motor was, indeed, bad. But if PW Auto Clinic just replaced it would have burned out again because the root of the problem was that the mechanism was jammed. BSG then (all in less than one hour) removed the entire mechanism, freed it up so it's working perfectly again and re-installed it and the bad motor temporarily and ordered a new motor. The total parts and labor cost is $700 not including the $100 diagnosis fee. Bottom line: Diagnosis was $50 less than PW Auto Clinic and the repair cost $600 less. On top of that, PW Auto Clinic misdiagnosed the problem and, again, if they had just replaced the motor, it would have burned out again because the root cause was the jammed mechanism that I suggested was the root cause of the motor failure. BSG did a full and detailed diagnosis in less than one hour and fixed the root cause of the problem. When the manager sent me the video of him working the wrong nut, I texted him to let him know it was the wrong nut. He didn't reply at all. I didn't like that and it felt like he was giving me the proverbial finger. That's when I decided to take the truck somewhere else and I'm glad I did. BSG was incredibly fast and thorough, they found the root cause of the problem and they are charging much less for the job. I used to recommend the Car Clinic to everyone but I can't confidently do that now since it's PW Auto Clinic based on my experience with them. (Again, keep in mind that some of the Yelp reviews for PW Auto Clinic are for The Car Clinic previously at the same location.) On the other hand, everyone I talked to at PW Auto Clinic was very nice. Too bad the mechanic couldn't understand the problem. Too bad they misdiagnosed the problem and too bad they charged me 50% more for the a misdiagnosis and would have charged me $600 more to replace the motor which probably would have burned out again because they didn't find the jammed mechanism while BSG found it immediately and fixed it during the diagnosis. I'm saving $650.00 total by having BSG do the repair (correctly) rather than PW Auto Clinic. It's also too bad because PW Auto Clinic is right down the road from me and it would be great to have a competent auto repair place so close by. In fairness, PW Auto Clinic might do fine work for other types of repairs but they failed with this one and they were going to charge much more for the repair than BSG is charging me to fix the problem correctly. That price difference alone tells me to look elsewhere in the future.

I'll admit I was initially skeptical of the glowing reviews for Frank's Auto (we are talking about an auto shop here, after all). But after having them perform a couple of extensive repairs on my Acura, I TOO have become a fan (and also now understand that one other reviewer and how he was 'sad' when he moved out of the area and couldn't use Frank's Auto anymore!) Keith is about the nicest guy you can run into. He is very responsive to your questions and clearly knows his stuff. When he can't answer your phone call (again, he himself is in the shop working), he calls back pretty quickly. He has finished the repairs in the time span originally noted. The repair costs are very reasonable and he does a great job explaining pre and post repair on the breakdown of the costs.
