Im making an account and writing my first ever review on a place in my life because how bad my experiences have been.. Ive brought my car here twice for repairs. Both times I've have had to go back to the actual dealership to completely fix everything. A) If you bring in your car through insurance their estimator Mike WILL LIE through his teeth on the phone about your damage. B) Work done is subpar and they lag. That lifetime guarantee sounds good but they only cover that specific work they did not if they mess up anything else while trying to fix your car and it causes issues later. Literally had the dealer calling them asking why they didn't properly do the work the first time back in 2022 because coolant / oil was leaking from work being so poorly done and needed an AC and Heat Pump replacement. Very very bad experience with this place almost take a month to replace and finish car but estimate was 4-5 days and after they finish , I found scratches and paint leaking from bumper but they said it's all brand new , and after that they told me to bring the car on Monday and they didn't even apologize and didn't gimmi any compensation or discount which I ask for cuz I waste 2 more days to bring the car and pick them up again never suggest this place bad experience read more

My Model Y was send there by Tesla for warranty repair. They are supposed to paint and install a new tailgate that was delivered dented from the factory. When I got the car back over a month later, I found two paint runs and there edges aren't even smooth. After complaining to Tesla, they had another touch up guy fix the issues. read more

The reviews on poor communication are very accurate. Went in for an estimate as I had a relative have their car repaired here. I was told that the adjuster would followup via email or call. You know what surprises me? The front desk staff was very quick to call me to set up an appointment when the insurance okayed my claim and had nothing to say when I confronted her of the unresponsiveness. I'd like to first start off by saying this is my FIRST EVER Yelp review. That in itself should show how awful my experience was with these people. I had some slight body damage to my car (Picture attached) so I went in to get an estimate. They proceeded to tell me it would be about $5,000-$10,000. I was completely baffled considering the damage was very minimal. They went into detail about why the estimate was so high but I'm not going to get into that. Just know it included having to take the whole panel apart on the left side of the vehicle. I went to a different body shop for another estimate which was only $500.00, so I proceeded to get it fixed there. DO NOT GO TO THESE SCAMMERS FOR BODY DAMAGES TO YOUR VEHICLE. read more

Terrible body shop - they damaged my car and lied, denying responsibility. After taking over 2 weeks and never updating me, I picked up the car and found a very noticeable thumb-sized spot on my driver's door. They showed me a picture of my car when I dropped it off, with no spot in the picture, and said it was already there. Other photos they took clearly showed the spot was not there but they ignored it. Called the Chevy dealer over on 38 and they said that this was the place that did all their body work. My girlfriend had knocked the casing off of her side mirror and had been rear ended by someone with minimal damage. Brian gave us an estimate, ordered the parts, threw in a repainting job for the scratch on the bumper and gave us the leftover paint when they were done in case we had to touch up something else in the future. And they fixed the broken clips on the door panel that had been bugging my girlfriend for awhile for no charge. I'm no car expert. Other reviews don't seem to "love" their work, but they were fast, prompt, easy to work with, stuck to their estimate, and went he extra mile. The work looks great. So...5 stars. read more

At first I was not sure Ohare was the right place for my vehicle to be fixed due to the fact it was an hour away from my home. After listening to others reviews it didn't matter the distance, but more of getting the vehicle fixed correctly. Ohare is certified with many makes all the way down to Tesla which was great to see. When contacting them Erin was more than helpful to get the car booked in, set up the rental, and get everything coordinated to ensure the hassle of dealing with a crashed vehicle was easier. Nick stepped in to take the vehicle every step of the way through the repair process, and kept me updated on the process all the way down to certain delays due to backordered OEM parts. The quality showed when the one back ordered part could have been swapped out for aftermarket, but they did not want to install anything other than the OEM equipment which is the same mindset I had. Tom the owner has a awesome team working for him couldn't be happier with the repair. Overall will definitely be doing more business with them! Bob and Mile were very helpful. I will definitely be coming back here for any future repairs! I love this shop. Sam runs this place and is supper nice. Always priced great I've never had a heart attack at what he is charging me. Sam will always tell you what you need done and how long you can let it go, he has told me things several times that saved me a lot of money. I was worried about my breaks so he took a look at them and said they just needed to be cleaned up and they would last longer. They lasted me another year no problem. Two weeks since I left my Telsa in their shop and the work has not started yet. After first week, they promised to provided the estimated completion time in a day but did not call back. I had to call again to extract an estimated due date from them which is another 2-3 weeks - i.e., a total of 4-5 weeks of time in the shop for moderate body work. This shop was recommended by Tesla and was the sole reason I took it there despite being 30 miles from my home. I will reserve final judgment after the work is done and if not satisfied may even report to Tesla and my insurance company to take them out of their network. read more

I went here to remove large racing decals on the sides placed by the previous owner. Though it took a couple days, I don't even notice any imperfections as if those decals were never there in the first place. Whenever I called, they were able to provide reasonable updates. If you are always looking for constant updates from them, then you are probably just getting in the way of them working. When I came to pickup my car, they were constantly on the phone dealing with new issues and ordering parts so I don't know about the details of the poor review. Ive taken my car there many times and I am now looking for a new place since my wife had an accident this week. I had the front bumper repaired last time I was there and I was so dissapointed that they didnt paint the whole bumper. They only painted the repaired section so half of my bumper was new and teh other half had scratches and looked old.. I was going to take it back this time around because I do try to support the local businesses but Im not going to be nice and get screwed this time again. Previous work that was done there had to be returned , once they left an rough paint job called orange peel which had to be resanded, the rear bumper was done and to this day it doesn't shine like the rest of the paint and the back door makes a sqeel every time I open n close it. Ive been too nice and now its time to get the job done right. Because Ive been there 3 or 4 times and I can tell you that their work is truly not that good. read more

I had my mirror knocked off my car and they painted it. I didn't second gess it, the job was done fine and timely. However I went back to get something done for my back bumper and they estimated it at $1,037 for a minor scratch. Every other place I went to to get a second opnion estimated me from 450-600. They tried to charge me double. They will never get my business simply because they are unfair and tried to rip me off. read more

I accidentally bumped into someone on 290 in rush hour and wrecked his bumper. The owner had the damage estimated by three places and O'Hare Auto Body gave him the lowest quote. Since I was paying for the repair work out-of-pocket, the cost was important to me as well as the time it took to repair as I had to pay for his rental car too.
