I've called these guys 3 times now, most recently this morning after my daughter scraped a metal shovel across my brand new car (literally drove it home from the dealer..ugh). I took my 2015 Lexus IS here for a tint and opticoat for the car and wheels. They did a great job and was able to do it with a turnaround time of 24 hours. The car is shiny and tint looking great. The people here are really friendly and open to answering any questions. They do a ton of high end cars here so I trusted them over the competitors. I want to say that Accutint has the best customer service I have ever encountered! My car was in for window tint and it got finished at around 5:30pm on the same day (they left me a voicemail). I got caught up and missed the voicemail. When I got to the store just past 6:00pm (closing time), I saw no one was inside. However, I was able to get a hold of Alden and Jay on the phone, and let them know that I needed the car the next day so it would be best to pick up the same day. They were very responsive and helpful. Ultimately they guided me to someone who was staying late on site and handed me the keys so I can pick up my vehicle same day. Had both my vehicles tinted here. The first time was a success without any issue. It's been over 5 years and still no peeling. Second time there was some mis-communication and they tinted my car pitch black. I don't know anything about the percentages... that's their job. I just tell them what I want and they are supposed to figure out the rest. My second vehicle already had a factory tint on the back windows, and I told them I wanted the second car to be the same tint as my first. I couldn't see a darn thing out the window driving the car home that night -- basically I got a limo tint! The guy I initially spoke with was nice, but he was a newbie. They're called professionals for a reason; otherwise, I might as well try to do it myself. At the end of the day, everything was taken care of. No harm done. All I lost was some time of having to go back to their shop. They fixed the tint for me at no cost so I was happy. I just wanted to keep the sun out and the car cool, not look like a pimp! read more

So I've had my windows done at the Seattle acutint when they were still the same business. After a couple years of me hitting my drivers window with my seat belt, it needed to be replaced. It was all my fault that it needed to be replaced.I took it to the Bellevue , they told me since it was done at Seattle they were not going to touch it cause Seattle had done it. Just because you had a falling out with the other owner, you don't want to make money and replace it. Makes Sense. The Service is horrible. They are way over priced, I can find better deals, and have my car back in the same day. The Owner is full of himself. He's way to money hungry, and your Porsche isn't that cool, Sorry. Maybe take this and have better customer service. DONT GO HERE YOULL FIND BETTER DEALS SOMEWHERE ELSE read more

They did beautiful work and Robby was wonderful in explaining the process as well as the care after it was put on. I'm a little disappointed with the quality of window tint this time around. We brought our Jeep in about a year ago to get the front windows matched with the factory privacy glass, and Accutint did a great job. This time, we brought our Forester in for the same thing and unfortunately didn't have a great application of tint. The first application they did on the front 2 windows, there were noticeable tiny bubbles on both sides, and this was after 4 days of curing. We took it back to the shop, and the guys there agreed that they needed to be replaced. The guys were great and took care of replacing the tint right then and there, but unfortunately this second round of tint still has some tiny fibers stuck between the glass and tint. I hate to sound nit-picky, but when you're paying over $100 for tint, you do expect there to not be visible lint/fibers in the tint. While it's not a HUGE issue, it's still something we paid for and didn't get the same quality we did when we brought our Jeep in. Not sure if maybe it was just too dusty inside the garage bay, or something else, but I wish we could say we got a perfect tint job! We really do like Accutint, and think everyone there is great, we just wished we had a better tint application this time around. read more

The fact that these guys had two $80K+ cars in their shop when I walked in definitely gave me the confidence that they know what they're doing. I took my Jeep in to have the windows tinted. Loved how they took the time to educate me on what they do, how they do it and ensured the tint I got was the best for my money. I happened to catch the owner when he was in the office and we got to chatting a bit about his Porsche (which he races) and his two Rottweilers. Super friendly guy. I had him add a detail to my jeep as well. The tint is awesome with a perfect edge to each window. Having done it myself years ago I can appreciate the attention to detail that takes. read more

I've gone to Accutint Bellevue a few times now. The first time was to get a clear bra installed on my new Forester. They did a great job, I can barely see the lines and I expect it to stand the test of time. The second time was to have my engine cleaned out after I found a dead rat and a small nest in there. I brought it in, they took a quick look to see how bad it was and they were able to take care of me on the spot. They got it into a bay and in an hour they had cleaned it out, steam cleaned it, and I was back on the road. I'll be back and I'd recommend it to my friends and family. read more

Brought in my new, black 2013 Volkswagen CC VR6 for window tinting. I was well informed by the staff on the various tinting options and percentages available. They called a day early to remind me of my appointment. Dropped my car off at 11AM and one of the staff was kind enough to drop me off and pick me up from Bellevue Square while I waited for my windows to be tinted. The car was done at 4PM, as promised. The tinting looks great and the quality of workmanship is excellent...very clean edges, no bubbles - they look like OEM factory installed tinted windows! We had our 2017 F350 done in early January and were so impressed we brought the 2014 MB in later that month. The F350 had the side windows tinted and a clear bra applied. The team was extremely professional (educating us on all the choices and available products) and we were very pleased with the final product. They did such a good job we brought the MB back for a window tint a few weeks later. Here is where there customer service shines- I was super wishy-washy (i.e. probably a pain in the rear) on what tint I wanted for the MB. Robbie walked me over all the possibilities- even showing me like-cars with the tint options I was debating. He was patient and didn't pressure me to hurry my decision or try to influence it towards a more expensive product. The car came out great and enhanced the overall look so much I feel like I have a new car. I had done a headlight restoration with Accutint about 2 weeks ago - a few days after, I noticed there was still some noticeable haze on both lenses and especially on the drivers side. I drive by to inquire about what can be done (if anything) and they said they'd redo the drivers side as it looks like it could be worked on more. Accutint was able to work on it again today and I must say, Craig went above and beyond and not only cleared the haze on the drivers side, he went back and worked on the passenger lens too and cleared that lens perfectly. This is the same job you would get at the dealer at a much lower price. "J" and his wife, Tim, Dean, Raf, and Austin all made me feel very comfortable and answered all my questions. This review is for the detail and installation of xpel ultimate for my black 2014 Nissan GTR. I am a regular customer at accutint. The black GTR paint is extremely soft and necessitates the utmost care for detailing work. Craig the lead detailer does a phenomenal job of detailing the GTR. The last time he washed it I had him do a layer of opticoat on the undercarriage, wheels and brake calipers. He is one of three people I trust to wash the GTR. Lance and Seth at advanced performance coatings are the other two. Caesar did the front bumper, headlights, full fenders, full hood, rockers, a pillars, and rear quarters in xpel ultimate. I wish I had done it sooner! The work is amazing. I can't even tell the film is there! J and Alden the store owners are stand up guys. They stand behind their products. Their pricing is reasonable. I don't post many reviews on Yelp. These guys exceed my expectations repeatedly, provide quality products and service, and deserve to be recognized for their efforts. HIGHLY recommended. read more

Just had paint protection put on my shiny new Veloster Turbo. Since it's a 2013, they needed to manually cut all the pieces for it apparently but they didn't even try to push a "premium" for it, just very politely advised it may take slightly longer. Sydney at the desk was especially helpful trying to figure out which option to get and didn't push to try to sell me the highest option, just honestly laid out what option was what which I appreciated. I dropped my car off at 1PM and it was ready by mid-morning, very quick! Not only quick, but very well-done. I could hardly even tell there was anything on it! Tinted all windows on my S4 a couple of months ago. They were professional, and were able to get it completed in a timely manner. They did an excellent job with the tint, no visual imperfections that I could discern which is more than I can say for some other local tint shops. Even if there were issues after the tint cured, I'm confident that they would have taken of me. I got a clear wrap done by Accutint on my Gran Turismo MC. Apparently they could get the wrap to stay on the fender so they used some sort of solution to make it stick. Well now the wrap is removed and it took the factory paint with it! I wouldn't go back here again it's destroyed my paint on a brand new $150k car. Also the clear wrap was done very cheap, they didn't wrap it around the parts fully, creating a line of dirt that makes the wrap pointless. Waste of money! read more

Excellent service and work. Smart and friendly folks who are willing to take their time explaining the options and help figure out the best protection. We wound up getting a full front wrap of Xpel ultimate on two cars, along with window tint and interior treatment, and Opti-Coat sealer on one. They seem to care about the cars and take pride in the work, we are very happy with both cars, about a month out on the first now and a couple of weeks on the second. Quick and thorough answers to email questions, both before, during and after the work. My oh my, this place is top notch. We just had our windows tinted on two vehicles, absolutely perfect. They matched the rear tint on 2018 GMC Denali and a 2017 Volvo XC90 perfectly. They also detailed the Volvo. Above and beyond our expectations. Oh, and the staff was super friendly as well, even chatting with our 5 year old. Would highly recommend. Full Detail: ($305) 2008 Black Mercury Mariner. (small suv). When i picked it up I glanced over it and it looked fantastic! But........... when I got home I gave it the once over, and there were still scratches and swirl marks in the paint! According to their ad they offer, " scratch removal, remove swirls" as part of their "full detail" package. I don't think so! The more I look closely at the paint, the more I wish I had my $305 back. I had my windows tinted here on 2/24/2012. When I called Accutint to inquire about getting my windows tinted on my Acura TSX, they were very nice. They guaranteed a lifetime warranty, 100 percent satisfaction on their work, and that their work was OEM quality. The receptionist was very persistent in winning my business and kept telling me that they provide work for the local Porsche dealership because of the quality of their work. After my windows were tinted, I drove the car home assuming everything was fine. I've had the windows tinted on all of my cars in the past, so I am not new to window tinting. After one day I began to notice bubbles in the tint. This is normal and I thought that they would go away. After 8 days, the bubbles remained and I also noticed that on one of the rear windows, it looked like the film was not cut properly. I also finally rolled down the window and noticed that there was a definite window gap on my two front windows. They claimed that their workmanship was OEM quality, this looked like a sloppy job and who ever cut the window film did not cut it right. When I took the car in, the sales manager told me that "the window gap and the uneven film cut on the side of the rear windows was a result of Acura windows, because they shift, as they roll up." I didn't think this was right so I went home and did my own research on a couple forums and what he told me was completely wrong. Keep in mind that when I went to see them the second time, I was wearing a sweater, cap, and jeans. So I went back a third time in my work clothing (I am a small business banker) and you know what happened, that same sales manager apologized to me and told me he was sorry and didn't notice how bad it was. Sure, I know what really happened and it is sad to say but image means a lot. There is a difference in the level of service you receive if you walk in wearing a suit versus baseball cap, jeans, and a sweater. You would hope that this was not the case but in my experience with Accutint, it sadly was true. They fixed the issue and the sales manager guaranteed me that he made sure everything was satisfactory. Meaning, there was no window gap or bubbles in the tint. Well, I waited 3 weeks later to roll down my window and you got it, there was still window gap in the driver side front window. In addition, my rear window still had bubbles. It looks like there was some dust that got into the film or the person doing the work did not prep it correctly. I am never bringing my car back to Accutint. First of all, they charge more for window tinting then other places in the Eastside. I thought that since they were expensive, I would be paying for the quality of the workmanship..instead I am paying for the lack of quality and the time I wasted bringing my car back to get things corrected. This is my first post in Yelp and probably my last. I am a pretty reasonable individual but because of my negative experience with this company, I felt that I was obligated to let anyone else know what to expect if they decide to get work done at this place. I also recommend going through the car forums when choosing places to tint your car or get other work done on it. You will also see more negative experiences that other local car owners have had with Accutint. I could have gone back a fourth time to get my windows tinted again. However considering how much I paid for the job versus the time I would lose from work with my clients, it was not worth it. You can only give a company so many chances to make up for their mistakes. I am sure if I was the owner of the Porsche dealership my experience would have been different. read more
