Jay continues his CYA. At pickup, the car was dirty and in dim light of the bay at close of day. Look at the location and nature of the dent. It could not have happened while driving. The force of impact is 90 degrees to the fender, and smooth (no scratch) - like something dropped against it from the SIDE. A glancing blow by a rock while driving would show a horizontal force of impact and would not be smooth. Regardless, a professional business would have taken a look at the dent, or at least some photos. But your response was to deny, interrupt, make accusations against ME, trespass me from the property, then immediately hang up! Wow. No Jay, you fully earned the review.

Model X Tesla -- I got the tints right below Limo tints. 18% I think?

HIGHLY RECOMMEND anyone with a Tesla to take your car here to Jay's! I called him, and Jay knew more about my car than I knew I wasn't exactly sure what I was looking for but his expertise really made the process super seamless. I got really lucky to get a same week appointment! I got in, and the guy made you feel like he was a long time buddy who was doing you a favor. But the professionalism was there and the work was excellent!! He also reassured me that if anything goes wrong with his work, bring it back and he'll make it right. But it's right, already he reassured me! The job was super quick also. Safe area-- bunch of coffee shops near by! 5/5 stars!!

Thank you Jay! I got my Jeep tinted initially last month, and I didn't love it (to no fault of Jay, or his team)- I emailed Jay and he offered to re-tint for free as he just wanted me to be happy- his words. He worked with my schedule and had it done in less than 2 hours. Amazing customer service! This is my second car I've had tinted with Jay and my next car will for sure be tinted here. Thank you Jay and team!

Tesla Owners: This is the place to go to if you own a Tesla, hands down. 10/10. I had the front windows tinted and they look amazing.

Been here twice now for window tinting. Great price, great service, and a lifetime warranty. It's worth the 405 afternoon rush hour traffic.

Because my claim has finally settled with my bank and car insurance, I am finally writing my…read morereview. My 2024 Audi Q5 needed a simple windshield repair. Alongside these newer cars, I learned the camera also needs to be recalibrated for lane assist & other features to function. All of my car's safety features were working prior to this appointment. Scheduling with Roger was fairly easy. He insisted that he worked on newer German cars all of the time, so I felt comfortable after seeing the positive reviews (side note: most of these reviews are for OLDER cars that do not need the recalibration). He was able to come replace my windshield within the week and then had me make an appointment with another guy (Jeff, whose business is Reign Calibrations) he works alongside to recalibrate the camera. Spoiler alert: he was unable to recalibrate the camera. So I contact Roger asking about next steps. He tells me these cars can be finicky and that he wanted to look at the installation again. I actually called Audi at this point and asked for one of their tech's opinions. They told me the gel pad almost always needs to be replaced. When I told Roger what Audi told me, he told me, and I quote: "Do not listen to Audi, because they just want your money." Don't listen to the people who work on these cars all day? Interesting. After this comment I was losing faith. Over the next couple of days, Roger and Jeff (the guy who does his windshield calibrations) changed the course of action for what they wanted to do about the situation several times. First, they wanted to take off the bracket, reinstall it, then try a recalibration. Then, they wanted to replace the gel pad and try again. Lastly, they wanted to put on a new windshield and try again. At this point I felt as though they were using my $50k car as a guinea pig and I'm very suspicious at this point. I ended up calling another auto glass company in the area and they gave me a lot of great advice. They were very surprised at what I was telling them about the situation (Audi included). Roger ends up coming by to look at the windshield. He sends me a text about 30 min before he wanted to show up. Not sure what he did but he was gone again in 15 min. Jeff then texts me about making an appointment to attempt recalibration on a Friday. I respond by saying my schedule is open. He doesn't reply for a day and then responds by saying he's changing the shop location. When I asked where I'm taking it, he did not reply for another day. Next day, which is Friday (the original day he said he would do the recalibration), he texts me saying we can do it on Monday and has changed the shop from Lynnwood to Everett. Now, I did some research. Many times these guys realize they don't have the proper equipment so they'll rent a bay at a different shop. I was done at this point. I stopped replying and called my credit card company and car insurance company. I got scheduled with the shop Audi recommended and my car was good as new. Roger was extremely unprofessional with the way this was handled. He wasn't honest about knowing how to work with these cars and other things as well. I would never trust these guys with another vehicle. What was supposed to be a one day job was turned into a two week headache. Side note: he told me he wouldn't offer a refund because the windshield was installed properly, but the new shop was shocked at the installation. It was totally botched, of course. His partner in crime somehow turned off features that technicians aren't even supposed to have access to. The car completely locked up all of these features as a way to protect the system I later learned. This was a lesson learned. There were a lot of positive reviews for his Wind-Tech Yelp page, but going to his actual business' page was a different story. It seems like Wind-Tech initially belonged to someone else but now it's Roger's as well. His other page is Windshields To Go. This isn't even something allowed by Yelp. TLDR: do not bring your newer car here if you care about your car's safety features. He'll also botch the installation with gaps in the windshield and an absurd amount of glue.

There's no damage to the windshield, it's just that the mirror glue got tired. Text bot recommends I call; the rep on that end asked if I was a prior customer. Nope. Just a performer trying to get to a gig with a mirror swinging wildly from the windshield. (LOL at this rate, I might need a new windshield ... ) There's some tappety-tapping and I give him my zip code and he confirms that there are two places who can help me. "Don't tell anyone I said this, but it is a quick and easy repair. We almost never charge for it. No need for an appointment; just drive up and we'll get it fixed." Marvelous. So I sit in traffic and I wait in line and then I ask the receptionist if they could repair my dangling rear view mirror. "Are you a current customer?" Um. No. "We don't do that. We only repair rear view mirrors for current customers." Are you sure? Cuz I called the 800 # and they said it wouldn't be a problem ... "We NEVER do that." Well then. I wasn't even expecting it to be a freebie, I just need to dry my hair and get to my gig on time.
