Fyi... this business has changed ownership but don't advertise that. Unfortunately, I wouldn't let the new folks change my litter box! Mistake after mistake about when and what vaccines my babies were due for, issues with my animals after simple grooming visits and frankly, I can do without the attitudes I've gotten every time from the VET. Also, they don't care for your pet in front of you anymore... they take them in the back so you can't see how they are treating your pets. I don't like that. I understand some things can't be done in the exam room like xrays but shots or clips and such don't need to be hiden from the owners. Flat out, I don't trust them with my pets anymore and I just switched VETs after 6 years. I know SEVERAL other pet owners who feel the same and have similar experiences since they changed ownership. If you have/want to keep a healthy, happy pet, I wouldn't recommend Ace no more. Dr. Singh is gone and the new services are below acceptable. This isn't a VET, it's a money grab. They only care about your cash, not your pets. read more

This gets two stars instead of one because the staff was helpful and kind but Dr. Ursula Jaydra was not a good doctor. She either lied to me or didn't actually go to school to be a vet. She told me that the swelling and liquid in the wound on my dogs neck (from our other dog attacking her) was an infection. It is NOT. Swelling and clear liquid (plasma) is to be expected initially with traumatic wounds. If it doesn't smell bad and isn't creamy or yellow discharge...its not an infection. My 13 year old 4lb Chihuahua has a level 5 heart murmur. I knew this before coming in. She looked at me like I was a horrible person for not spending the thousands on tests to diagnose and treat it. Mind you, I was there for a bite caused by my other dog not a full health review. I also haven't given her a rabies shot in years because I get her titers checked and she's continued to be protected against rabies. A 4lb chihuahua gets the same dose as a great Dane and I'm not putting that extra stress on her if she's still sufficiently protected. I asked Ursula to clip her nails since we were here and she refused and told me that it was illegal for her to trim my dogs nails without a Rabies shot. Not true. It's illegal in michigan not to vaccinate your dog against rabies....but thats on ME. I felt coerced into giving my old, sick dog (who doesn't socialize with dogs outside our house and is never outside without a human) a rabies shot. I don't know about you, but I'm not too fond of liars and I'm sure as heck not going to trust them with my pet. read more

Ok. I always try to be honest. I've never dealt with the main vet, Dr. Singh. I was told to request him only, I didn't, because I just wanted to have my pet evaluated and medicated. I was first put into a room alone, two young techs came in, unloaded my cat, on the exam table. However, they didn't have her properly secured. Scared and sick animal in a new unfamiliar place, I'd think making sure they're unable to injure themselves further would be a priority. I guess not. My cat went from the exam table and flung HARD onto the floor. Then the most unpleasant vet I've ever had to deal with came in, acting like she was an authority figure.. lol. I don't think she realizes she's part of the "face" of a business. Put a damn muzzle on her, she'd not even hissed, and has never been aggressive. So, I won't be back. If you decide to go, go with the main doctor. read more

Unfortunately I'll be leaving Dr Singh at Ace after 25 years of him being all my pets vet. It's just to complicated trying to get a timely appointment here anymore, i called with an urgent matter with my dog as soon as they opened on a Saturday morning and the rude girl on the phone refused to get my dog in to get her started on an antibiotic. I had no choice but to pay over $500 to an emergency vet for what should've cost me less then $70.00. I called today to get my dogs flea & tick medicine and was told they won't sell me it unless I make an appointment and pay an office visit. Dr SIngh if you read your reviews you really need to hire better ppl who aren't so rude and unprofessional to your clients before they run your business into the ground. read more

We having been going here for 15 years with our cats. They have always been truthful and realistic when it comes to certain situations. I don't like the car side service only because I want to be in there to comfort my cats but the vet techs who come out to talk to you and take your animal in and out of the building are very nice and understanding to my nervousness of sending my cat away from me. The doctor has come out and called me on the phone to talk to me in person about my cat. Their prices are reasonable and they also accept care credit which is helpful. They always fit us in the schedule whenever we need to get in. Very busy but organized staff and we are very happy going here. read more

It's rare these days to find Veterinarians or Doctors that actually care about the well-being of their patients. Dr. Singh is one of those rare finds! My family and I have the utmost respect for him! We have been lucky enough to be coming here for years. By lucky I mean that our animals are still alive and able to come. We have been unfortunate to have some pretty serious emergencies with our cats. They have had fevers, needed IV fluids, urinary issues that required surgeries etc. Dr. Singh has stayed late as well as his front desk staff in order to save our cars on two occasions. The pricing here is reasonable and the care you receive from him is top notch! I've also visited with the other doctor that works in the office, I just don't like his bedside matter as much. We have moved a lot farther away and still make the drive here because I wouldn't trust my animals to anyone​ else. I recommend Ace to all my friends. read more

Got word that a kennel mate of my brand new puppy had Parvovirus during a power outage. I couldn't reach them by phone because of the outage so I drove up to the office. I told Dr. Singh what had happened and they rushed my little boy in for a follow up vaccine with no appointment. These guys really love their clients! Thanks so much Ace. read more

I've been going to Dr. Singh for nearly 20 years. He has provided my animal care though the lives (and deaths) of three dogs. Now I have two cats, and I wouldn't go to anyone else but him. He's knowledgeable and compassionate. In addition, I appreciate the fact that he's realistic in that he doesn't encourage a whole bunch of treatments when your pet doesn't need it or your pet has reached the natural end of his lifespan. His prices are fair, and his staff is generally responsive and friendly. Dr. Singh has taken on another vet into his office, but I don't know much about him. I went to him once on short notice when my pet was sick, and he was ok, but Dr. Singh is my go-to guy. read more

It is so great to have a doctor and staff that care so much about our pets! The treatment they get and affordable cost makes this clinic really stand apart. They talk to you like a human being, not like a customer. I don't know what happened to the lady with the bad review, I hope her pet is well now. The staff do so much to accommodate us. I am paralyzed and my pets are my only social activity, so their care and comfort are my main concern now. 2 dogs, 3 cats, and a snake! I wouldn't want to go anywhere else. Simply the best. The heart this place has, is beyond anywhere else. They have helped us save kittens and give our animals peace. They have even squeezed us in when there was an emergency. Once we found a dying kitten in Detroit, called them, and they stayed open for us to rush her to her, to get her on the road to health. I love Ace! The doctor is so friendly and very knowledgeable. He took the time to really look at my cats skin issue, to ensure a proper diagnosis. He was gentle and honest with me about her treatment. The receptionists are kind as well, and very helpful. I cannot forget to mention how amazing the price was. She got a cortisone shot, some antibiotics and a cream. All together, as well as the price of the visit, I paid about $80. I was expecting to pay around $150, and I would have if I went elsewhere. Dr. Singh is wonderful and his support staff is as well, so that's why I'm giving Ace Animal Clinic a 5-star rating. But I wanted to comment on Dr. Singh's partner who kept my pet and I waiting for over an hour; when she finally came in the exam room, she didn't apologize at all for keeping us waiting and she didn't seem to really be listening well when I was talking about my pet's condition. From now on, I'll make sure that when I get an appointment it'll only be with Dr. Singh. read more

Dr Singh and staff are always very accomadating and compassionate. I have been going here for years, have referred several friends and coworkers alot of them drive 20 miles to this vet, that says alot right there. Dr Singh is not in it for the money he is there to give you excellent care at a reasonable price. Will not rake you like other vets. Will not run excessive tests, in fact usually doesnt charge an office visit with shots, etc. You will not be sorry. Office isnt a 10 but the the people that work there are :) read more

Dr.Singh is great. He's taken care of all of our family pets and is very compassionate. Dr. Thomas, his associate is another story-DO NOT LET HIM TREAT YOUR PET! My golden had a pretty severe corneal abrasion--you could see it with your own eye. Dr. Thomas called it conjunctivitis, despite my protests of disagreement. We spent the whole summer under Dr. Singh's treatment after that trying to save the eye. Luckily, it all worked out and he's fine now. My daughter took her dog in and pet was diagnosed with luxating patella and referred to orthopedic vet. When we called ortho, she said to keep him on rimadyl until appointment in a week. Went back to ace for meds and Dr. Thomas gave me hard time about the meds-hard on liver. Tried to explain to him that vet he referred was wanting this protocol. He actually stood there and argued with me. Again, love Dr. Sing---DO NOT TRUST YOUR PETS WELL BEING TO DR. THOMAS!!! read more
