I made a few calls, and settled on Matt and his company. At first, pricing for this sort of system surprised me, but once I saw how much work is involved, the artistry of deciding which type of light to place where (even sinking one light into my yard for maximum WOW factor lighting up my Cypress trees), the attention to detail and complexity of running (and completely hiding) all wiring, I was thrilled to pay the price. This has TRANSFORMED my home from 'meh' to 'wowie zowie'! My exterior just pops the second the AUTOMATED SYSTEM automatically lights up as soon as the sun begins to set. And of course, I can easily control them from my phone! It's been two years since install, and I love it everyday. Then, I experienced an electrical issue NOT related to the lighting system, but that affected it. Matt came by, diagnosed the issue, spent an hour replacing an electrical box, and voila, all is well again. No more sprinklers as all plants are now watered via "drip irrigation. Truly a work of art by Felipe, whose creativity and imagination has no limits. We were able to park pretty close this time around, and it was not too hard to get around by foot. The sidewalks seem to have somehow gotten smaller than what I remembered and it was muddy after rain, so it's a bit difficult as a big group going through (we had a group of 6). Most houses had their lights up and running. Part of the magic in my memory of visiting this area in previous years was seeing people hanging out in their driveways and on their porches, with some selling/giving away refreshments. Not a lot of that tonight, probably due to it being close to Christmas already. Otherwise, the people that we did meet and pass by were very friendly! Otherwise, a good variety of decorations and houses to look at! Seems like there are more houses than usual with their lights off, probably because they were out of town, but it would have been nice to leave it on a timer for the rest of us still in town. But at the zero cost to us to view? I can't complain too much-- always a nice time here in Sleepy Hollow.

I recently moved to Huntington Beach from Walnut, CA. Upon moving into my new place, I quickly observed a plethora of loosely connected garage wires, ancient light switches, and powerless wall sockets. Frustrated, I turned to the almighty Yelp to search "Electricians" in the area. Based on All City Electric's positive reviews and professionally-designed company website, I decided to call All City Electric for a consultation. To my great surprise, Jody not only arrived ready to consult, but he fixed EVERYTHING. In fact, he hopped in his truck, drove down Warner to Home Depot, purchased a brand new light fixture, and fancied up my garage beyond my expectations. I tell you no lie... a few days before, a garage "make over" company quoted me at $1,500 to rewire and position my garage lights. Meanwhile, Jody completed all of my garage and indoor work for $125! I was so pleased with his work, that I emailed him the next day to inquire about adding an additional doorbell to my patio gate. Jody could have easily arrived at my house, fiddled with a few wires, and charged me again; but instead, he recommended that I go to Home Depot and buy a wireless doorbell for a couple of buck to accomplish what I was going for. Indeed, that was all I needed! Jody's a great dude and does fast, clean, professional work. I absolutely intend to work with All City Electric for as long as I live in Huntington Beach and Orange County. P.S. In no way, shape, or form was I paid or prompted to write such a glorious review. You know what makes Mondays worse, waking up for work to find out that most of your power is out (especially when your tankless water heater has electronic ignition). When you have no hot water, no tv and everything in your frig is getting hot, you need an electrician now, not a week from Tuesday. Living in Huntington Beach, I went to Yelp to find an local electricians when I found myself powerless. I called Rod's but got a message that they were busy for a week. I then called Santucci and have yet to get a call back. Fortunately, my 3rd call was to Jody at All City Electric. He said he'd could be at my place in an hour, then arrived 45 minutes later. He quickly deduced that the problem was in the connection between my house and Edison's delivery line. With that info I called Edison, who came out and fixed the problem by noon. Jody was quick, professional and a very nice guy. He didn't find problems or sell me stuff I didn't need and for the service charged replaced a couple outlets that I'd been wanting to do for a while. If you need quick service from someone who's honest, fair and knows what they're doing, I highly recommend Jody and All City Electric. read more

I contacted Jody from All City Electric and he provided me with the necessary information I wanted to complete my Electric Service the way that I wanted. Jody sent Steve to our House for the Electrical Work required. Steve was very pleasant and easy to work with. He explained every part of the Work he was doing before, during, and after Completion. We needed a lot of electrical work done for our new 3,000 sq. ft. studio including: pulling down lighting fixtures from a 20 ft. high ceiling, demolishing a bunch of old low voltage electrical conduits, and installing 20 hanging pendant lights (all of which needed to be leveled). We invited three electrical companies to make bids. Jody got back to us right away and was the first one on the spot. Whereas the other companies refused to give even ballpark estimates, Jody was able to quote the job on the spot and did it for a quarter of the highest of the bids from other companies. He and his two sons, Andrew and Chris got the job done on the very same day and even went above and beyond what was originally discussed. One thing that was important for us was that all electrical work was to city code with which Jody was extremely familiar and helpful. We were hugely impressed! read more

Feb 22, 2015 power surge in my house. The surge knocked off many inline equipment. I could not reset many breakers .In a state of panic and not knowing about electric problems, I called All City Electric, for the first time. Jody, the owner responded immediately to my call. He systematically evaluated the problem throughout the house. Jody demonstrated outstanding knowledge, and provided excellent and professional service. On Saturday, May 9th, I was drying my hair and "most" of the power went out in the house. We tried resetting the circuits to no avail. I called 3 companies and All City was the only one that called me back, within minutes. Andrew showed up within the hour and diagnosed the problem was actually Edison's issue. We weren't the only ones having issues either. Anyway, I had been wanting to replace our panel and since the service call was $350, I asked about replacing the panel and was told that this charge would be credited should I chose to do so. We are very happy with the work Andrew and All City did for us. Stucco patching was included. I did the painting. I've added a few pictures. read more

I cannot say enough good things about this company. Extremely profession, on time, and very fair prices. We had an emergency out in the kitchen and bathroom and after almost getting taken by another company Jody and his team came to our rescue. Not only did he try to help me over the phone before sending an electrician out so that I would not have to pay a fee, when an electrician finally did have to come out he was to my house in less than 15 min. Picture this. It's late on a FRIDAY NIGHT 10 days before Christmas. I go to plug in my outdoor decorations and poof, crackle, @#%! No lights, no TV, NO COMPUTER. My neighbor had used All City and Yelp reviews were excellent so I called. It was 9:30PM on FRIDAY NIGHT and they were at my house before 11AM on SATURDAY morning. Everything was replaced/fixed in a couple of hours and I was really happy with the promptness, the capability, the friendliness and professionalism. The price was reasonable too. We hired…read moreAll-in-One to install some recessed lighting and outlets inside our home as well as upgrade our electrical panel on the exterior of our home. For the lighting/outlet install, instead of using any kind of drywall saw or cutting tool, they just used a hammer to put holes in our walls and ceilings in order to run wiring and install switches/lighting. This left our home looking crazy and made it unnecessarily difficult to make drywall repairs. Also, a number of the recessed lights they installed were not even symmetrical. On the exterior panel install, they swore up and down that the existing panel could not be replaced without major rework to the wall. So, thinking it was my only option, I approved the location of the new panel off to the side. However, I absolutely did not approve them coming out of the wall at an angle with that large flex conduit the way they did. After addressing these issues with them, their only response was that they could relocate the panel for the same cost as the original installation. Overall, it became clear to us that All-In-One Electric only cared about getting the job done as quickly as possible and had little to no respect for our home. They made it clear that their aim was to do the bare minimum as long as it was "up to code." I would not recommend their services to anyone after this experience.

The whole time he also provided insightful information on how and why this outlet broke which was super helpful to someone with basic knowledge in home electricity. Once the job was complete, he cleaned everything up, gave it an isopropyl alcohol wipe and performed final testing which gave me confidence that everything would work perfectly. It's hard to find contractors who are both skilled and easy to work with, but Dang was exactly that. He stayed on top of communication, showed up when he said he would, and really made the whole process stress free. Price: Lowest of the 8 companies I talked to. Work: Excellent; stucco repaired and color matched, permits taken care of. No mess. Communication: Always kept me in the loop, super polite and accommodating. Speed: It took longer for the city to inspect the work than for him and his crew to do the work. Would definitely work with him again. Easy 5/5 stars from me.
