Unprofessional customer service. Came for alignment, but as soon as they finished inspecting my car, the guy at the front started having an attitude and quoted me $2000. When I asked why, he sounded mad. When I asked for the copy of his inspection, he declined and said it's their copy. If you have no knowledge on cars, I don't suggest giving them business. They can do just about anything and I've never felt like I'm being scammed by their prices. Ace Auto is my go-to for auto maintenance and repair! They have been maintaining my Lexus and also repaired my H2! I had an oil leak on my H2. Ace repaired it and looked over the H2 as a whole to make sure it was running good. Drove like a new car! The team at Ace really goes the extra mile to make sure customers are taken care of. Went for a oil change on my Mercedes GLB 250. They quoted me a fair price because of my specialty oil filter. They actually charged me a couple of dollars under the quote. I LIKE THAT being the frugal (cheap) guy I am. Actually cost less than my daughter Nissan Kicks at the previously reviewed Nissan dealer on Oates. DO NOT Bring your vehicle here. Unfortunately my son's warranty company uses this place. They are incompetent and will return your car in worse shape. They put a new motor in my son's car after it sat at the shop for a month untouched. The car has been back twice where it sat 2 more weeks each time) for a major oil leak. They lie about having a loner car. They don't follow up or call. You have to call them continually, only for them to lie further and tell you that your car is ready KNOWING FULL WELL you'll be bringing it back in a week for the SAME problem. My son has literally driven off the lot and turned around and took the car right back. The car has been been at this shop more than he's driven it in a year. I don't know how they are still in business. Be prepared to lawyer up if you use this place. read more

Do not trust this repair shop - I came in with diagnostic check due to check engine light . They told me it would be $1600 for a clogged catalyt converter and that my engine would have been dead within a couple of weeks and their were metal shavings that would be bigger over time- Fortunately, i had a son in law who was a hyundai mechanic and checked it out for me because i had doubt in what i was being told - no clogged converter , the engine was not spilling heavy amounts of oil - My son in law put in a new sensor and did a light tune up was about $100 bucks had it inspected w/no issues. It's very unfortunate these type of things happen to people. They even told me not to go elsewhere b/c it would be more expensive.. read more

We used to love Ace but I don't think we'll be returning. First, my ford focus' radio fizzled out so we took it to Ace. We came to an agreement based on the car's previous visit that they would replace the radio since they couldn't prove they didn't fry it when they fixed the alternator and battery issues the car had. Yes they stuck to the deal, however (and I understand that the manufacturer is a big part to blame), I dropped off my car on 5/11 and didn't get it back till 6/7. This is fine, but when I received my car back it was missing the Apple CarPlay component which was the main reason I took it in to get it repaired in the first place. Not only was my car missing that, but there were two big scratches near my headlights and a gouge on the driver side that's the size of my fist and it's gone clear through the paint. It's like they hit it with a metal pipe and kept scraping it on another car or the garage. No one told me "hey by the way, the car has this damage now," but I should've checked the car before I drove it off the lot. The cherry on top is that I was told 3 times they've gotten my number wrong, even when confirming they have the correct one, and I was repeatedly told "it should be done by tomorrow" when I kept being a squeaky wheel. Spoiler alert: it was never done by tomorrow. I understand it took so long to do because of the manufacturing place sending the wrong parts, but it would've been better if I was told "it will be done soon". They didn't have any loaner cars for the entire time, and it seems like the car they told me they had immediately became unavailable. This was understandable but very frustrating. They damaged my car, didn't replace the correct software, constantly told me x when y was what was really happening, and I kept getting excuses. Insurance is being contacted next for vandalism. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I had a blowout on 635 at 5:15pm on a Saturday. This was the only tire shop within miles so I headed there (on the rim). I made it to Ace Auto around 5:30pm (knowing most tire shops close early) -but I got lucky. They were open AND they were able to help. Unfortunately, my tire size is very unique and isn't something they have in stock. The owner or manager Sam was extremely helpful. They had a used tire that met my car's specifications and offered to put it on for me so they could get home safely. I agreed and they replaced the tire within 15min. When it was time to checkout Sam refused to charge me for the used tire and gave it to me for free. I repeatedly tried to pay but he was insistent. I am extremely grateful for the Ace Auto team for helping me out of this terrible situation!!! Thank you so much! read more

If you'd like a nice car messed up, go to this place! I've has my car at this place a total of 7 days to fix a light bulb, change break pads and get a state inspection. They never called me to tell me it was ready and when I showed up 3 times to pick it up, they told me it wasn't ready yet. So I left it while I went on vacation. When I got back 5 days later they didn't have my inspection done and I had to discover it and tell them. They put new brake pads and rotors on and they squeak loudly. I guess maybe I have been lucky-but I have not had a bad experience here. I will admit I have not had any major work done-but they have done the little things I ask of them well. I take both my cars here for their inspections and to get oil changes because of the coupons they send in the daily mailers. Using the coupon they can change the oil for about the same price I can - and I don't have to do any of the work! They have also done little things-like clean off a sensor that was causing the check engine light to come on instead of assuming it needed to be replaced. The place is usually pretty busy but most of the guys are polite and take the time to answer any questions. Their prices also seem to be better than most of their nearby competition. read more

Towed car to another shop and told by 2 mechanics that work done at Ace was unnecessary. Called owner of Ace, sent signed paperwork to him of unnecessary work and asked for full refund. He did not reply.I repeatedly called him, finally answered and said that as a courtesy he would return $150. As I had $202. in parts that I was returning to him, I again asked for full refund.
