When I finally got a call, the salesman refused to send the price to me. I asked him why, and he said, "because I don't have to. I gave you the number just now over the phone. If you don't like it, go somewhere else." I am going elsewhere. Crazy how these people don't want consumers to make an informed decision. I took my car to get service 3 weeks ago but have been told due to them only having 2 transmission mechanic that's what's taking so long. This dealership is an absolute joke. My mom and I walked in fully pre-approved and ready to buy a truck. My parents had already been there the day before, so this should have been a straightforward purchase. Instead, it turned into one of the most unprofessional and chaotic experiences we've ever had. The environment was ridiculous, salespeople running around (FULL SPEED), talking/laughing loud, yelling across the floor, and acting completely disorganized. It felt more like a circus than a business. We've purchased multiple vehicles before, and I've never ever seen a dealership operate this poorly. The communication was just as bad. After my parents' initial visit, we started receiving texts from multiple different names coming from the same number in the same conversation. It was confusing, unorganized, and honestly suspicious. Then came the numbers. This is where it became clear they were trying to play games. The pricing made no sense, and it felt like they were assuming we wouldn't notice. We own three cars so we know exactly how this process works and this was beyond unacceptable and disgusting that they thought we were stupid enough to fall for it. If you don't appreciate our business, we don't need to give it, there's many other trucks and dealers we can go to. We walked out, and we will not be returning. I called Town East Ford before I went to look at a used 3/4 Truck. Kid on the phone said come on up we have plenty to choose from. So when I got there à friend told to ask for Farley he's a really good guy he will give you the best deal. I got there around 2:00 and when I got home from there it was 9:30 that night. However I live in Tyler The very next day I had issues with this 50,000 used GMC DENALI 2500 and long story short. I was ready to tell them just give me my trade 2018 Ford F-150 4×4 back Because there wasn't anything wrong with it even though they said it had 153,000 mile I was upside down and the best they could do is a squash on the deal. That means they will pay it off. I will say Farley was a pretty nice salesman but the other clowns there thought I was another dumb ass. They had to send à wrecker to my house to pick my truck up cost them 800.00 plus à part I put on the truck that cost me 140.00 they tried to tell me that I had a dalima on paying me for the part and I told little Eddie Monster NO YOU HAVE A DALIMA! We drove 2 hours looking for a decent deal, and lost over half of it to addons. So just be aware, call first for the actual price before visiting. The WORSE business I have ever experience. The sales people will sell you one thing then the service department won't honor it. Purchased a preowned vehicle from here months ago with 2yr oil change and paid for extra warranty. The sales people will tell you 3months but the service department will send out random appointment reminders and then have you come in and not cover anything nor want to see you. This is the 2nd time I've had to drive an hour for them to tell me im early but yet I'm days passed than what their dumb follow up sticker says. Car came with A LOT of defects, didn't have any coolant when I test drove it and I made the sales guy aware he said we'll service it before you take it but didn't do anything to it. Instead answered days later and wanted me to drive an hour for them to put in some coolant. I had to BOTHER the sales people and accountant for them to email me my paperwork. I wanted to buy the car cash and they said I wasn't allow to, instead they had me paid partial and get a loan. Oh and the extra warranty apparently was mandatory. We went in with the full intention of getting a vehicle to get treated like shit because ford is to big of a company to care about one customer the whole experience was shady. As a sales person, property manager I do not agree with the sales tactic the sales manager allows his employees to practice. They lie at first any safety issues with a used car would have been fixed at time of purchase and no charge but have been charged to the purchase amount and service wasn't even completed. Hasn't even been a week and engine light is on again ??? I know they can delete codes on the computer but why sale the idea of a good used vehicle when you can't even put on passenger due no the seatbelt not working. I get used cars come with issues that's why we didn't purchase until two days later when the vehicle was supposed to be ready. Vehicle is sitting in their property we have to sit here and wait cause no one can communicate properly and give us a solution to get around now it's about at 30k purchase. I initially contacted the dealership online and was quickly responded to by a salesman named Andres. He even sent a video introducing himself and asked if I'd like to schedule a test drive that day (Monday). I told him I could make the hour-long drive after work at 6 p.m., but he replied that the vehicle was "currently not here" and would be available the next day (Tuesday) at 6 p.m. Due to work, I couldn't come Tuesday, so I requested an appointment for Wednesday at 6 p.m., which he confirmed via text. I followed up Tuesday afternoon to make sure the vehicle would still be arriving -- no response. I messaged again early Wednesday morning and received confirmation at 9:00 a.m. that the vehicle was there. I even got out of work early, messaged him around noon letting him know I could come earlier, and that's when I was told another customer had been looking at the vehicle since that morning and was in financing. This was incredibly frustrating -- not only was the vehicle apparently not on-site when first advertised, but I was the one who initiated the process to bring it in. I had been in constant communication with the salesman and made it very clear I was serious about the purchase. I was not even informed another customer was interested until it was already being sold, and I never got the chance to even see the vehicle in person despite making arrangements and multiple confirmations. When I called to speak with Andres directly, he told me it was "first come, first served," which I understand, but I wasn't even given the courtesy of a heads-up -- despite having a scheduled appointment and repeatedly checking in. What made it worse was his attempt to pivot and sell me a different vehicle, which I made clear I wasn't interested in. I purchased a used F-150 4X4 Supercrew at Town East Ford. This place touched on so many stereo typical *used sales car* experience it was like watching a bad sitcom. Hiding my trade in as they were *working on my offer* for 3+ hours so I could not leave. Lack of professionalism, trying to add $1,000 to the asking price, trying to tell me there interest rates could not be beat, etc. Oh, by the way when I called my bank and got approved for xyz% suddenly they could meet my rate through my own bank. So I came to this dealership since my previous one (where I originally purchased) had ghosted me, literally, after damaging my Bronco. When I made the appointment for the oil change, I was told anything with transmission issues (the issue caused by the previous dealership) was weeks out and I couldn't make an appointment. I found that to be odd, since...you usually just book the appointment no matter how far out...but okay. She was very nice about helping me out and was sorry to hear about my previous experience with the other dealership. I felt confident that they would take care of everything at the time. I brought it into the dealership in the morning and the woman I spoke with was out of town, so I had another girl helping me. She told me I was scheduled for the premium oil change (which wasn't disclosed to me, likely just how they force upsells) to which I told her I wanted to use my points so if I needed the lesser one, that was fine. I was told they could give me a ride back (about 5 mins away), I was told to wait and they would call me a Lyft. About 30 minutes later I just called my own Lyft because no one had spoken to me and it was much harder to find someone to help at this dealership than my usual one. I confirmed that they would deliver the Bronco to me when it was ready and was assured countless times that they would. Well come 4:30pm, I get notified that the vehicle is ready for pickup. I sent a text message back to their system stating that I was told it was going to be delivered. To which she replied that they were closing and the valet guy had already left for the day. When I tell you...customer service must be dead and I just didn't get the memo... So she says I can just "get the car tomorrow" ummm and how would I get home from work ma'am?? You'd think working at a car dealership you'd understand how only modes of transportation are extremely important. So, after a long time of no response I finally got them to send me a Lyft to go get the Bronco. HOWEVER, the system they have to connect with your lyft (through Ford) is not reliable. I couldn't find the guy, the dealership contact wasn't replying, I was scared they were going to close and not give me my vehicle...a lot of stupid trouble for a simple oil change, like come...on. am absolutely furious with my experience at Town East Ford in Mesquite. I spent three days going back and forth with a sales guy named Saul about leasing a Ford Mach-E Premium. We agreed on the terms, and I made sure to confirm the details not once, not twice, but three separate times before making the drive--because I live an hour away! I even messaged Saul right before I left, and he told me the car was ready and waiting for me. So imagine how pissed I was when I got there and Saul suddenly tells me the white Mach-E we agreed on was already sold. Seriously? After all that confirming? The only thing they had left was a magenta one or a higher trim that would cost me $100 more every month. No apology, no attempt to make it right, not even a suggestion for a comparable deal. Just a shrug and a "take it or leave it" attitude. It honestly felt like they think customers' time is worthless. Service Department is Worthless!!! I purchased a Raptor from This Dealership in May and in addition I purchased the maintenance package. The sales department was nice to deal with and no hassles. The service department is completely different. They are incompetent, lack any kind of communication skills, and customer service/service specialist is just words on their walls. I had a tire losing air pressure, so I called two days ahead to schedule an appointment and ensure that I had the tire package (the truck has 6500 miles on it). The service advisor Ryan told me I had the package (which at that point he knew I had it also). My appointment was at 7am, mind me this is for one (1) tire. I sat in the waiting room for 1 hour before I had to get up and go ask Ryan what the issue was. He stated they had to get approval from the insurance on the tire package (WHAT!!! - he knew I had the package before I brought the truck in). Then I said how much longer - Ryan stated 15 minutes. Well 45 minutes later the truck was ready. 1 Hour and 45 minutes to change one tire. Hell, my daughter could do it in 15, and I could get 4 tires at discount tire on a Saturday morning faster than that. They did not communicate with me at all - I had to approach the service specialist every time for updates. Then at the end when I was really hot the manager finally comes out and says 'what can I do for you, because I can't give you your time back' Now that is service at its highest form. I am looking and pushing to have my mainteance packaged moved to another dealership as TOWN EAST FORD Service department is pathetic. read more

After dropping off my vehicle and agreeing on the price, he calls me later throughout the day and wanted to charge me more for not quoting me correctly. OVER TWO HOURS into this lovely experience, after having watched every single person in the lobby that had gotten there since for oil changes, new tires, parts replacements, come & go... I ask the dude that literally checked us in & introduced himself as our service advisor, is our vehicle even getting worked on yet? Because if they hadn't, we were ready to just accept our losses & gtfo of there. He said he would go check with our service advisor . He comes back 10 minutes later saying my car is now in the air getting worked on. But, there's something funky with the drain plug. They're replacing it for free (uh-huh... sounds like they broke it) & need to fill it with oil then we will be out of there......"shouldn't be long". They said whoever did my oil last must have messed it up. Plot twist...that was them when I bought the car . Another FULL HOUR later, we saw the car was pulled around to the picked up area. Then, 15-20 min later after I LOUDLY started talking about how long was a reasonable amount of time before it was socially acceptable to make a scene because we were already late for our appointment, they magically show up with my keys & we were able to leave. Never. Ever. Ever. Again. They can keep the free oil changes. If I make a 12:30 appointment for a 20 minute job, it is unacceptable for it to take over 3 hours. Period. My time is more valuable than that. We lost business in our business because we missed an important meeting because the oil change took over 3 hours (& who in their right mind would expect otherwise?). read more

Avoid Town East Ford -- Deceptive Practices and a Frustrating Experience I had an incredibly disappointing experience at Town East Ford. While Jermaine and one manager (whose name I didn't catch) were professional and helpful, the rest of the team left a lot to be desired. From the beginning, I simply asked for a price breakdown on a truck, excluding taxes since I planned to tag it with a tribe in Oklahoma. This seemingly simple request turned into an ordeal. Zane, Dustin, and Karen acted like this was brain surgery -- it took 13 text messages and two emails just to get the basic information I asked for. Once I finally received the quote, the numbers didn't add up. I asked where the extra charges were coming from and was told I didn't qualify for certain rebates due to being out of state. However, their own website clearly states that if a customer doesn't qualify for a rebate due to location, the same discount would be applied as a dealer discount. When I pointed this out with screenshots, I was told they wouldn't honor that policy because "they had already discounted the truck." Zane made me an offer, which I initially declined, but later accepted the next day. At that point, he raised the price by $185. I reluctantly agreed again and asked to put down a deposit to hold the truck -- no reply. The next morning, we confirmed a pickup time. I drove over 3.5 hours, only to be told an hour before arrival that the truck had been sold to a local customer because it "made more sense" for the dealership. Zane offered a similar truck with a lower MSRP for the same higher price -- a classic bait-and-switch. Despite all these red flags, we still went to the dealership. We did end up purchasing a truck, but even during financing, there were issues. A rebate we were going to apply for ourselves was pre-added in a way that actually increased the price. The taxes were printed on a separate sheet, and after "negotiating," a new sheet showed lower taxes -- creating the illusion of a price drop without actually reducing the vehicle price. Blake seemed friendly, but it's hard to believe so many "honest mistakes" were truly accidents. Bottom line: be extremely cautious when dealing with this dealership. Their tactics are misleading, communication is poor, and the overall experience was a mess. I bought a Polestar 2 from Town East Ford and have been very displeased by the process. The car was advertised online as having over $12k in upgrades online but, after I did a test drive, remarked that I didn't see some of the upgrades that came with them. Right before we came to a deal they finally come out and said it only had the $4k option. I wouldn't have known if I wouldn't have asked multiple times. The first deal that they tried to give me was "mistakenly" $3k over the listed price. Again, this mistake would've been put through if I hadn't caught it. They also tried to put in fine print a lojack system for almost $2k, which isn't at all needed on this car. I finally came to a deal with them on a pretty decent price but the car came as is with no warranty. They sold me on an MPP warranty that upped the price significantly. The next week I had to take the car into the Polestar dealership because it wasn't updating the software. Turns out there was $2.5k needed in repairs and the MPP warranty doesn't cover it. They replied on the Google review (and may on this one as they have on others) to sent this information to an email and they would "make sure your concerns are resolved." It's been a month and they haven't done anything, I paid everything out of pocket. They called the recommended repairs "a little bogus", and asked if this was a reputable car mechanic. I brought it to the Polestar dealership, the manufacturer of the car. They never responded after that. read more

They did not show me the numbers when we were in the finance dept with a guy Osvaldo ( they call him Ortiz) .He said they would be emailed to me. I was looking over every line amount to make sure it was what I agreed to and noticed the finance guy Ozzie slipped in a charge of $1765.00 for a Mechanical Protection Plan I clearly told him NO I did not want. This is my third try to buy a vehicle from TEF in about 4-5 year span. Every time I've tried it's the same bs that I have heard from the previously salesperson. I work through email so everything is in writing and all I ask for is the OTD price and a breakdown. TEF always states I need to come in and we go back and forth for hours if not days trying to pull numbers from the dealership. They always throw in LoJack and their ford certified warranty which you the customer has to pay for. 3-4K in add ons that I do not need but am told they will not take them off. Why would I pay for a LoJack that is actually beneficial for the dealership and bank if you finance not the customer. Guy just YouTube LoJack and dealership scam and videos will pop up. Also why would I pay for a blue warranty for 3 months 4K mile warranty when I do not need it and I would rather in invest that money in an actual ford extended warranty. Stay far away from this dealership and other ones that are owned by Warren Buffet because they are all the same. read more

I went to Town East Ford's website and verified the $59,055 MSRP was discounted to $56,788. After a week of watching the ad, I called the sales department and told them I would buy the truck at the advertised discounted price. The sales rep indicated he would put the paperwork together and email it to me. I said you linked the trucks sales information to an internet car sales site and it matches what's on your website; my offer is the price that the truck is advertised and I don't play that game. I said if they would honor the deal I would do the transaction, otherwise I was disappointed in this business practice and would write a negative review on their business. Don't bother getting anything custom from their service department. They use truly inferior parts. And when they mess up your truck, they expect YOU to fight with the parts manufacturer that THEY choose to work with. You know, do their job. Their service department put a small lift on my truck after I bought it from them. I only drove 20,000 miles on them. Within that time it was back in their shop twice for the exact same problem in the exact same spot. Their average time for working on it was 3 WEEKS! And, of course, they never have a loaner vehicle available. They never called with any info without my husband or me hounding them first. This time they had it for weeks and spent one of those weeks simply trying to figure a way out of their responsibility since it was clear they knew they should do something. They determined that the problem was the parts so I should put it back to stock. Yet they refused to give me any money back from the original service I paid for yet don't get to keep or use. I only expected my money back from the first service. Since I don't get to have a lift on my truck anymore because they destroyed it with bad parts, it unfair to expect me to pay for one. I have been a Ford buyer for 45 years- 12 cars. I saw a 2024 Ford escape as a demo with about 1800 miles and advertized at around 22000. I was unable to drive due to an injury and had communications with a salesman for two weeks discussing this car. When I arrived at the dealership I was advised that the vehicle was not for sale because it was damaged. A red flag. They put me into a more expensive Bronco Sport-another demo. I liked the Bronco but during the negotiation process, I realized what was going on and stood up and told the salesman and sales manager that I was taking a walk and they lost a cash sale. If they had been up front with me about the first demo , I would have gotten a vehicle there. I went to Nissan and bought a super nice Suv - a cash deal. I'll never go back to Ford after this. My Mache E build is not even in production yet. It will not be ready until end of year. I needed to purchase before November. I've been waiting since May. I was asked by the dealership if I wanted to upgrade to the Mach E GT. Of course I did for the right price! My salesman was great however his hands were tied by the sales managers decisions. He really tried. However, after finding a better deal at FIVE STAR FORD in Carrollton I bought there. Only because I saved several thousands and because Town East could not match it. I gave them a chance to. Apples for apples the window sticker base MSRP doesn't even match online builds. Check those line items, options, and the extras the dealership says it added. Because I bought from another Ford dealership Town East refused to refund my $500 deposit even though the online build isn't built. I spoke to Sales Manager Steve who was rude and laughed at me when I asked for my deposit back. After talking to other dealerships no other dealerships in the area are keeping deposits like this. I asked to speak to a General Manager and no has contacted me. BUYER BEWARE!! Do not give these folks your business and definitely send your online build to another dealership even if you have to drive a bit. It's really sad that this is a family owned/operated business that treats its customers like crap! read more

I'm in the market for a new F-150 as it's my truck of choice. I came across this dealership in Texas and they have a competitive price on their vehicles, BUT IT'S ALL A SCAM TO GET YOU SUCKED INTO THEIR BULLSHIT!!! Jose Diaz was the person i spoke to over the phone, I asked him specifically about the pricing on the truck advertised, he said it's in stock and I asked if I would qualify for the $2750 discount over the XLT financing deal, he said YES. Tells me to fill out the application and wouldn't work the deal until the application is done. Then sends me the deal with a dealer mark up of $3200. A vehicle that is listed for $43810 and would receive a $2750 financing rebate, comes out to $45540 before TAXES. These crooks use the full MSRP before the MANUFACTURER DISCOUNT and add on their bullshit fees. The thing that upset me that most if the fact that JOSE DIAZ never mentioned to me over the phone about the dealer added accessories. Basically put a ding on my credit for no reason, and then he tells me I told you about it over the video I sent you. I got the video from this guy at the very end of the text messaging. NOT ONLY THAT, TAKE A LOOK AT THE LISTING PRICE OF $43810 WHICH INCLUDES ALL DISCOUNTS AND AN ADDITIONAL $2750.
