On top of that, all of the nail polishes at the salon are old! Every nail polish I picked up was almost empty. The color I chose, the nail tech had to keep adding polish thinner to. They have the nerve to charge $55 for a basic manicure and pedicure, especially one that was done so quickly and looks horrible. If you are going to charge premium prices, give premium services. I would never return to this salon.

Now I'm glad that I finally did, I will definitely come back! The salon was clean and not crowded, which was good, because there were only two staffers working, Kelly and Doris. Kelly, the owner, did the pedicure, and WOW. I was a little nervous going in because I haven't had a pedicure in years, since I am extremely ticklish and usually people touching my feet is torture. But Kelly made me feel totally comfortable--I didn't giggle or flinch once--and did a callus removal treatment that was like magic. She went out of her way to match the standard nail polish color to the SNS powder exactly, which I appreciate, having chosen a rather unusual shade of lavender. Doris did the SNS manicure as there was another customer who needed something specialized from Kelly. Doris did a really good job, too. My nails look nice and natural even with the powder and unusual color. The last time I had SNS powder elsewhere, it came out bumpy and thick. Doris was able to get perfectly even layers. She even did so on the one nail which was damaged and made it look healthy, albeit shorter. I got my finger caught in a door a few weeks ago and am growing it out. So anything shy of extensions on that one nail would look much shorter than the others, but I don't mind that. All in all, this has been the best salon experience I've had to date. Wow!

I have a 9AM appointment for a blow out for a wedding I had that morning. I leave my house at 835 and it takes about 20 mins to get there. (Sunday Morning not many places are open. ) I park my car and begin to walk across the street to the salon at 8:57 AM. My phone rings and it's the salon. When I answer they tell me that the stylist is sick and they can only accommodate me at a later time. A later time COULD have worked if they had given me more than a 3 MINUTE NOTICE that my appt wasn't happening. Again I understand sick happens but if this person was already on their way to the Dr you knew more than 3 mins ahead of time. Ultimately you cannot trust this place if you're making an appt for an occasion.

I am not sure if I want to go back; is anyone else having the same issue or is it just me? 3 weeks ago I had a UV French manicure and it only lasted 2 days I had to go back to fix them and just yesterday I wanted a cate eyes manicure with a design and I am not sure why she always gives me just 2 coats on my nails I have to remind her to give me 3 coats. Yesterday I walked out with 2 coats and not the design I asked for. I just don't understand. I am not a pushy person or someone who likes to start trouble, but I didn't say nothing because I thought after the 2nd coat, Mandy was going to do the design I showed her, but I was wrong and very disappointed again.
