    Spicy chicken thigh sandwich
    Vicky P.

This spot took me by surprise because my spicy chicken thigh sandwich was so good!!! I pass by this unassuming store front all the time and I finally tried it. The prices are pretty affordable. Everything is made fresh to order. I ordered the spicy chicken thigh sandwich and it was definitely freshly fried. It was so crispy and juicy. The lettuce and Mayo were the perfect combination. I will definitely come back to try the other items on the menu. I am curious about their wraps.

I'm delighted that they opened a new joint here selling crispy chicken and burgers. There isn't one burger and crispy chicken place in this area, except for Popeyes. Ace Burger & Crispy Chicken is modern. They're very clean, well lit interior, and the fried chicken is not burnt fried. I ordered a spicy crispy chicken thigh burger, it was not spicy at all. BUT their chicken tenders are very juicy and not dried. They need to stock up on their condiments though. People love condiments. Every place that sells fried chicken has a variety of condiments. Unfortunately, they didn't even have barbecue sauce the day I visited. The guy behind the counter was very nice. He accepts my credit card payment even though my first purchase was under $10; the credit card minimum. I placed a second order afterwards paying cash. Next time, I really want to try their cheeseburger. I wonder if they will have pickles? Oh! They also have bubble teas. This is very unique. I haven't seen a place in Manhattan nor Brooklyn yet where they sell burgers and bubble tea. This is great and I'm excited for this place to bloom!

Updated review 1/7/22: Ordered 2 times since opening. To be honest, not impressed with their fried chicken... overly done = dry. Sloppy presentation with sandwiches. Will perhaps try again due to convenience of location.

    Popcorn chicken

The popcorn chicken is very tasty and big considering it's supposed to be popcorn chicken. The price for this much of popcorn chicken was great.

    Spicy chicken burger

Maybe a new go to spot for me. I order the c6, fish burger with grilled wings and soda. Spicy chicken burger which wasn't that spicy. Chicken nuggets were amazing and crispy . And chicken thigh which was really crispy. Nice interior space. Everything was made to order so there was a wait for the food. The chicken was a bit stringy? It was juicy not dry at all. The burger and chicken thigh. The fish sandwich was bland to me. All I taste is the tartar sauce lol. The roast wings were so juicy and flavorful. I paid 50 cent for a side of bbq sauce and it was a bit watered down. I also love how they package their food. Burgers were wrapped and inside a box. The wings had two bags to contain the juices from dripping. I'll definitely return to try their other food options.

Prices are cheaper than most burger joints. Food is pretty decent. Portion size is better than most places. Would go again for a quick bite.

Decent fried chicken wings and drums at good price. Sadly, they don't offer curry fish balls any more despite still on the menu.

There's plenty of seating, but not many patrons. I ordered the combo Chicken Wings (half soy garlic/half spicy Korean BBQ), and some sweet potato fries. The wait for the order was about 15mins- which isn't bad as it's made to order. Fries came out piping hot and crispy; The chicken was a bit flat, not fully sauced and a little over-cooked dry. They are basically charging Midtown prices in deep residential Brooklyn, which was kind of a turn off. Still, I decided to give it a try. Since I have had their chicken plenty of times, I went with one of their non chicken items instead and ordered the bibimbap. It was a massive disappointment. It was sixteen dollars with a fried egg, and the bowl was about ninety percent hard rice that clearly had been sitting around. The toppings were minimal, just some shredded carrots, bits of iceberg lettuce, mushrooms, grilled onions, and small pieces of dried out spinach. It was barely a bibimbap at all. Where were the bean sprouts? The Korean radish? The zucchini? This was easily the saddest bibimbap I have ever had.

I've eaten MANY Italian heroes all over northern NY & NYC and this has to be the best Ive ever had. This place is well established in the local community and I am sure someone has done a video or segment on TV about this place. The amount of food on a sandwich and the quality of their food is impeccable. No heroes loaded up with tomato and lettuce. Just plenty of the "good stuff". Don't give the prices a 2nd glance as these sandwiches have to weight 4-5 lbs each and a full ( 10"?) hero is plenty for 2 very hungry people. They have over 150 Signature sandwiches named after ( mostly) Italian celebrities. ( Fran Sinatra, Yogi Berra, Sophia Loren, etc) I was very satisfied with these 2: ---#119 EDDIE ARCARDO "Try This Thoroughbred"-- Chicken cutlet, salami, ham, olive oil, basil mix, LIONI FRESH MOZZARELLA, Sun-dried tomatoes, and a drizzle of balsamic vinegar ----#P1 THE ROSANNA SCOTTO "You'll Have A Good Day With This One" Ham, Salami, Pepperoni, Soppressata, Fresh Mozzarella, Roasted Peppers OMG! so loaded, so fresh, amazing bread. The subs are always packed with meat and fresh ingredients; the bread is delicious. Their shop also sells traditional Italian breads ($1.50 for an Italian loaf), sides, desserts, and groceries. Ambiance: There is a small table that seats about 6 people in the shop if you want to eat there. The sub shop/counter is in the back, and the front is a small grocery store with Italian products. Food was really fresh, way different than all the other chipotle's I've been to that has dry chicken, barely any meat, and still cheap out on. This bowl was a heavy bowl, there wasn't even that much rice but a lottt of protein. The only downside is that the white rice was slightly more moist than it should be but probably just a mistake of putting too much water when cooking. Also fast service despite looking quite busy when I went in.

There was no line at all, and I was standing at the counter in the spot where you begin ordering your bowl. No one greeted me -- not even a simple "hello" or "I'll be right with you." Multiple staff members saw me and didn't acknowledge me. Then, two new customers walked in after me, and both of them were greeted immediately, while I continued to be ignored. I finally said, "Hey, hello, I'm waiting," and the employee responded, "He'll be with you in a minute." The person who was supposed to help me then continued doing whatever they were already doing without looking at me, acknowledging me, or giving any update. After that, I walked out. Basic acknowledgement matters. Guests shouldn't have to work for attention in an empty restaurant. I hope management addresses this, because experiences like this are discouraging and easily preventable. Especially for someone who was very hungry truly looking forward to enjoying a meal from Chipotle
