Great for a late night snack. Since the pandemic they have both indoor and outdoor dining. They have skewers, noodles, appetizers and some desserts. I usually get their beef noodle soup. My only complain is that the noodle is not consistent most of the time. Sometimes the noodles is overcook, undercook, too much cooking whine. I still order it since just skewers won't full me up. Was so excited to come try this spot since many of my friends rave about how good mr q's is. Honestly I was a bit disappointed. I got the rice cake, beef and lamb skewer for take out and thought that the taste was just alright. I've had the same rice cake skewer before at a skewer cart and it was super crispy and well seasoned. The rice cake skewers here are not crispy at all and was drenched in sauce making it kind of soggy. The lamb and beef skewers were alright but I thought they were not very well seasoned. My fiancé also said the same. The prices are quite fair though! The rice cake skewers were only $1.75 each and the beef and lamb were $2.25 each. We got our food fairly quickly after ordering which was nice. They don't have much seating at this location though so probably not the best for larger gatherings. While I don't think it's always worth it (think about 5 skewers costs as much as a rice box) it does satisfy the cravings when they're here. I love coming to Mr.Q's for a late night snack! This is my favorite bbq spot. The waitress takes your order quickly and serves our food quick as well. However, yesterday's service was a bit slower than usual. It took the waitress 20 minutes to get to our table and served our food 15 minutes after. My new go-to place for skewers! I was craving for skewers and my usual spot wasn't there due to the weather. I went on Yelp and found this place close by to the train station. This place is really small and it is very dark inside. I actually wasn't expecting much but when I got home, I was very satisfied with what I got. The skewers can be shared which is what we did, but it can be slightly tricky since all we had were the plates the skewers came plated on and napkins. I LOVED the bacon mushroom!! It was the first one I tasted and flavors just exploded in the mouth. Not the biggest fan of bacon but lord, this bacon stick just changed the game. I really wanted to order another one at the end of the meal but my wallet and stomach held me back. Everything tasted pretty good for whatever I got to try. There's this spicy powder on the table to add a kick to your skewers, but it's a little too much for me. The chicken skewer might have been rubbed on the grill for a little too long cause the outside texture was a little grainy; taste-wise, still good. Definitely visit this place if you're in Brooklyn Their sticky rice stewer is surprisely good.. they made the sticky rice very flat and they grill it so the outside is very crispy and is covered with spice on top. I was introduced by my friend and I was really surprised by the texture and taste.. it's a feeling like you can't get enough of it. The drink spilled on my pants while serving and all the people in the store didn't apologise to me and wanted me to pay in full when I paid. When I go to the skewer trucks for a quick snack, my go-to is typically 2 beef sticks. However, this place isn't the place for beef. It's more lean and I like it with more fat. The fish tofu, beef ball, chicken wing, chives, cauliflower are the all stars here. Some of my friends are not a fan of their fries but I get them every time. My cousin ordered the ramen noodle and chose the ramen noodles but instead, he got potato noodles. There was also nothing ramen about the dish... it looked like a total Chinese dish with lightly colored water-soup, y'know, the Chinese style of basic noodles... When he told the waitress she got the order wrong, she said oh, sorry and went back to the kitchen. We thought she would come out with a new dish, the one he actually ordered. But she came out with the check instead... with the ramen included in the bill, even though he did not touch the ramen at all. Um... what. Probably BBQed by a man whose manning the kitchen during TVB commercials. The chicken wing (with bone) comes out to $1.75 each and they're sizable. One will not fill you up, but 2 or 3 is certainly enough to get your taste buds going. But also roaches. Probably not coming back, at least not sober. Note, apparently tipping here is not the norm. 1AM on a Saturday night and tables around us vacated without any tips. We had other reasons to not tip: a la cockroach. read more

One problem is that it's much more burnt than the one shown in the picture and before when I went here it was a good burnt but this want just taste like coal.
