Food - 3.5/5 Lamb - 4/5 was juicy, tender and season well with a decent amount of cumin flavor. Chicken Wing - 5/5 the skin was crispy, meat was moist and tender. Mix of BBQ seasoning. Recommend Bacon Wrapped Mushroom - 4/5 bacon was crispy, paired well with crunch of enoki mushroom. Cauliflower - 5/5 didn't know cauliflower could be this good. It was soft with a slight crunch and had the same seasonings on it as the other skewers. Tin Foil Clam Noodles - 3/5 came with a spicy soup, glass noodles and clams. Glass noodles and soup were garlicky and flavorful. Clams were not fresh and sandy. Service & Ambiance - 3/5 it's a small, kinda cramped, super casual skewer spot. The place is clean enough and service is fast.

No frills hole in the wall casual spot for some skewers and drinks! We thought the skewers were plenty flavorful with their seasoning, moist and not overdone. Service was quite quick! We ordered: Squid, Lamb, Chicken, Fish Tofu, Taiwanese Sausage, Korean Rice Cake.

Skewers spot, open late. Dimly lit and small place with several tables for dining in. I like to come here when I'm craving skewers, my favorites are the cauliflower, bacon wrapped enoki mushrooms, and chicken wing. The tin foil clam noodles came spicy and it wasn't very good. The clams were very sandy. The side of enoki mushrooms were very oily as well. Order is placed on your phone and the food comes out so quick (less than 5 min for us!). Cash only.

The skewers are well seasoned, service is no-frills but decent and ambiance is quite casual/hole-in-the-wall.

Amazing skewers place with incredibly flavorful and juicy skewers!!!! Went here after bouldering with some buddies and we ordered a loooot of skewers. The service was super quick, first batch of skewers came within 10 mins. Love the chill cozy vibes of the place. Filled with great seasoning and MSG!

Came again after some time... I was craving skewers! It's always my go to for skewers - it opens late (closes at 1:30am) and the food is good and cheap. I felt like the menu expanded and there were a lot more skewers than last time - and we decided to try some new meat options. The go to is always chicken, lamb, beef, and mushroom bacon. We tried the chicken heart and beef kidney but they were very tough I would just skip. The fried pork intestine was very fatty and delicious. It's better fresh and it gets oily so one skewer is enough. My personal flavor is always the squid tentacle platter and egg plant. The fried chicken and fried squid is so good... something in the batter it's perfectly crispy without feeling too heavy. Service is fast but it doesn't seem like they serve any water. You can order smoothies or get bottled drinks from the fridge. There's also outdoor dining and they are pet friendly!

Mr. Q BBQ & Noodle in Brooklyn serves Chinese-style skewers, noodles, and snacks and is particularly popular for late-night dining. Despite the small space and cash-only policy, the service could be improved as my request for non-spicy skewers was disregarded.

A great and affordable spot for a late-night bite. The skewers were grilled perfectly with well-balanced seasoning, and you can even add extra spice if you want more kick. While nothing particularly stood out, nothing fell short either -- everything was consistently good. Don't skip their milk tea, though -- it pairs surprisingly well with the savory skewers.

I got take out from here and got it delivered. First glance, it was very well packaged, so it was still warm even though the delivery took a bit. I ordered 17 skewers and they were all mediocre. My favorite would be the enoki mushroom with bacon and enoki mushroom with asparagus. Most of the meat ones had a mid taste. I also ordered the fish cake skewer one, but it didn't arrive, which was a little disappointing because those are usually my favorite. Overall, the taste is okay, so I would come back if I crave for it.

Good selection of bbq. We ordered cauliflower, chives, chicken wing, beef, squid tentacles, and bacon wrapped with mushroom. They were all very flavorful but the best was the bacon wrapped with mushroom. It was very juicy and the sauce that they used paired very well. Chives we're a little bit oily but I didn't mind lol cause it tasted goooooood. Service was decent, got my orders to me pretty fast and the staff were friendly. It was very clean inside as well. Would definitely come back!

豆腐皮串 is so deliciousss !!!! (fried tofu skin) I was kind of skeptical at first when my girlfriend ordered it, but wow,! it is UhhhMaaaazzinggg! They have indoor and outdoor dining. Family owned setting. Beef tripe was big and crunchy, bok xhoy was nicely flavored and juixy, chicken wing was seasoned and crunchy, Shrimp is good and crunchy. If you want spicy, get Hot. Medium spice wasnt enough. They have powder at table but it didnt add any spice. Get the tofu skin!!

I have ordered from this place numerous times for delivery and pickup. The prices are definitely cheaper if you order in person rather than online through UberEats, Seamless, etc. They are pretty quick with cooking and packing everything and I never had a problem with my orders. Some of my favorite skewers would be the beef, fish tofu, bacon with enoki mushrooms, beef short ribs and the chicken. The beef is the best I've had from all the skewer places and carts I've tried from. The meat was very tender and not dried at all. For the appetizers, the french fries and popcorn chicken was really good. The french fries are similar to McDonald's fries and are on the soggy side. If you prefer crispy fries, don't get this. The popcorn chicken was also very meaty and delicious. Probably on the top of my list for best popcorn chicken in the area. The batter is crispy and the meat wasn't fatty like most places. There isn't an option for spice level for the popcorn chicken though. The skewers that I wasn't a fan of would be the lotus and fish balls. The lotus didn't have that lotus taste at all and the texture was very soggy and chewy. I'm a huge fan of lotus and this just wasn't good. The fish balls also tasted weird to me the first time I got them and I never got them again. This is definitely my go-to place for skewers now! Would definitely recommend this place. The one time I was there for pickup, they seem to have an outdoor dining area for guests!

First time at this location and it's very nice! Great place to spot by even for a quick bite and skewers were yummy! We opted to sit outside and the worker was kind to turn on the AC even though me and my friend were the only party sitting there at the moment. Bacon mushroom is the star skewer, always a must get. Noticed it wasn't as fried as the last time I had it, my friend says they cook it more healthier now lol. Cauliflower does need that spice sprinkled on for the kick of flavor and chicken was juicy. For the curious ones, New Orlean Wing was just two slightly fried chicken wings without tips. The one I would definitely NOT recommend was the beef short ribs. That's just a teeth/gum work out. Don't think I even ate much meat. Would love to come again to try more stuff!

The food was very fairly priced and the portions were huge. We got the pork soup dumplings, pork fried rice, szechuan chicken (which came with white rice), and pad see ew (which though not listed comes with pork, chicken, and shrimp). Everything was solid, but our favorite was the fried rice which had a ton of flavor. I liked the veggies that were in the chicken dish but there were just way too many of them compared to the chicken and I wasn't crazy about the sauce. The pad see ew wasn't made the traditional way I've had it with soy sauce and oyster sauce. It had some sort of orange sauce that tasted closer to a sweet and sour. It wasn't bad it was just not what I was hoping for. The soup dumplings were solid, no complaints there. And the fried rice was great, lots of flavor. Overall, I liked this place especially for the price but I'd probably order different things if I went back.

I found parking down the block and walked over to the restaurant. It seems like more of a delivery spot because there was no one inside sitting at any of the 5 tables. It's a fairly good size space, very simply decorated, mixed with a cool wall resembling a curio cabinet of treasures. I chose a spot in the middle and went to the restroom which was clean and simple. I noticed there were a lot of takeout orders, from delivery services to local folks picking up their regular dinner. I looked over the menu and decided on salt and pepper wings and an order of shrimp. Fried Rice came out first and it was delicious. I even tasted a hint of salted egg yolk mixed into the egg mixture friefried up with the rice that signature crispiness with the little saltiness.... fantastic. The salt and pepper wings were different than the ones i'm accustomed to though the flavor was amazing. It didn't have the fried garlic, peppers, chilis, and onions that i'm accustomed to being in the dish. They were still flavorful, juicy and crisp and I could tell they cooked them fresh. That was much appreciated. I ended up taking half of my food home because I was stuffed.Thank you Msm Ellen and the Crown Garden crew for a tasty solo dinner.

There was nothing that I ordered that needed ketchup. Nothing. There wasn't even soy sauce in the bag. Then had the unmitigated gall to charge $22 for the salt baked shrimp and told me I had to pay $5 extra to substitute the lo mein for white rice. Who is eating white rice with shrimp? Girl bye. I'm not paying almost $30 for one meal from a hood Chinese spot. If there's no heat in your establishment, your prices need to be in lowercase. If it looks like you might catch staph in your establishment, your prices need not to be so loud. I also believe they overcharged me. They did have a sign saying that the prices went up, but I think they may have been too cheap to print out a new menu if that was the case. I was going off of what they had on the wall for the general public. So as I stated, I ordered crab Rangoon ($7, allegedly), honey wings ($7, allegedly), a shrimp egg roll ($2, allegedly), spare rib tips with fried rice ($12, allegedly). My total was $31. My assumption is they probably charged me extra for pork fried rice, which I didn't ask him for. I know for a fact they are not charging tax because there's no way that you're forcing people to pay in cash while also charging them for taxes that you don't pay. The crab Rangoon was actually pretty decent even though I didn't have the sauce that comes with it. The honey wings were OK. They actually taste more like honey BBQ. I prefer C&Y honey wings. It's real honey and stay hot for an hour due to the way honey maintains heat. I also don't appreciate when these spots chop up a wing and call it two wings. 1 wing is the entire thing. STINGY. The spare rib tips I don't like and neither do I like their pork fried rice. The rice is a bit bland and I don't like those large spare rib tips. I prefer the boneless spare rib tips that C&Y has. A shrimp roll is a shrimp roll is a shrimp roll. It wasn't too bad and it was actually pretty happy. The shrimp was a little bit larger than those baby shrimp that they normally stuff in shrimp rolls. Their pricing is on par with C&Y yet I don't have no issues paying what they ask and their food is good aside from their lo mein. They are not stingy and have pretty decent customer service unlike the guy who took my order here who paused my order to take another order over the phone and tend to the person behind me. This is what I get for cheating on my spot and being lazy when they both were far af.
