Build your own strawberry and marshmallow with nutella
brandon y.

Went in around 4:30 on a Saturday. I found this place on Yelp and decided to give it a try. It was quiet, all the TVs were off, I thought they were closed at first. I originally wanted the no added sugar ice cream base, but it was not available. I ended up getting the premium ice cream base with nutella flavor. You get 2 added toppings included and we went with strawberry and marshmallows. You get 1 strawberry... another rolled ice cream place is $3 more but you can get as many toppings as you want. Also, the ice cream texture wasn't very smooth. It was a but crumbly. I think it is still a newer business. Hopefully their product improves.

Such a fun menu and great service. Fashionable decor that feels so well put together and deviates from the common themes of boba restaurants. I guess that was my expectation and bias. Non-dairy coconut ice cream is legit. Really really liked the Mango Coconut Slush!! Will probably be back next week. Finally have a great option for cold desserts in the neighborhood. This shopping area is on the rise!

First, the ambiance is nice but the smell from the hotpot side of the restaurant makes it hard to get in the mood for dessert. Secondly, I was so disappointed to see how dirty the workstation was. The employee had a bunch of cloths on the cutting board, along with fruit peels from other customers, the dairy was on the counter for goodness knows how long, when she used it for our whip cream it was warm which was disgusting. The cup she used to measure/poor the cream onto the cold slab, she took out of the sink that had other dirty dishes. Rinsing it under the water to "clean it". As part of our ingredients we got 1 bite size brownie mixed in and the "toppings" was 1 Oreo cookie...the ice cream was over $9 with tax and had ZERO flavor. We took maybe 2-3 bites and tossed the rest because it was warm and gross. My son had intestinal issues that evening and I know it was from this business. I wish them well in the future but they need significant changes in their cleanliness and quality of what they are serving.

aayeeeee ! This place was SO good . And omg the decor was ON POINT ! I got their brownie one that they had and it was delicious. The decor here was the most absolutely beautiful thing I've ever seen inside of an ice cream shop. And honestly for only one person working she was quick on her feet.

Rolled ice cream is yummy but I was expecting them to crush up toppings and then roll them together like other rolled ice cream places. They simply roll the ice cream and place a few pieces of topping on top. It's good, but not the same. Thai tea is good too, not overly sweet!

Incredible and lively ambience. Service is great and quality drinks/food! We came in on 4th of July and it was pretty quiet but great service!

Loved it! The atmosphere was calm and welcoming, and I really liked their decor--simple but stylish. The ice cream was delicious too. Definitely a place I'd come back to!

Hi. we came here to try a new ice cream place. Looking at the pictures and being new to the area, we decided to try it. We walked in and it had a terrible smell. We stood looking at theme for 10 mins and the lady working never acknowledged us. She did not look up, she did not say hello, and she did not tell us how to order. Luckily I looked at the smaller menu and it had a QR code to scan. It brought us to the hotpot place next door, but it showed the ice cream menu under dessert, so I ordered from there. We also saw that it was connected to the hotpot and that is where the smell was coming from. It costed us about $50 for 5 ice creams. One came out every 10 mins. We went to grab spoons and it had stuff on them, something orange. The next ice cream came out and we started to notice more things. she used a rag to clean the ice slate, but had it on the counter with everything else. She did not wear gloves. 3 of our orders had pocky sticks and she grabbed them without gloves, it grossed my daughter out. My husband and my youngest daughter got their ice cream last. It was 20 mins later. She got really busy and it was just her. Finally a guy came to help, he wore gloves, helped a little and left. Another lady came to help and she seemed upset. We noticed that the hotpot place was also putting in orders for her. She did however greet one family. But it was the only family we saw her say, "are you ready to order." We are not happy and we will not return. All of the ice creams were good, except for the Matcha, it was not sweet at all.

Staff is welcoming and attentive. Menu has a lot of choices. They do rolled ice cream and handcrafted drinks. While you wait for the items you ordered to be made, they have a few family friendly games you can play. Scrabble, Yathzee, Connect 4, and Sorry. There are also 2 different monitors playing movies or music videos. Plenty of indoor seating and a cute little plant gallery wall. We tried the rolled ice cream. It comes out super cold, they prepare it on a super cold stainless steel counter, it almost seems freeze dried it's so cold, but once it starts to warm up it's nice and smooth. You can build your own or choose from a handful of Specials. We will be back and will definitely be trying the handcrafted option side of the menu.

Nice treat after eating at the hotpot next door. Got the Thai tea ice cream which was the right sweetness! Interior is very clean and well put together. Would come back for dessert and to play games.

Base with toppings

Toppings are not mixed into the base like a normal rolled ice cream spot. Was honestly really disappointing when it was just the plain milk base with toppings just throw on there.

Bar

This ice cream place is just so cute! It has games, music, tv, and it welcoming to everyone. My ice cream came out pretty fast even though there were many people inside! Julian is my favorite employee, he gets the job done efficiently and with quality every single time! I come here every week now. Love it!

I've always had it as a pick-up experience when my co-workers and I would get afternoon sweet cravings and one of us would pick up. And now that the weather is warming up here in Roseville the shop is obviously busy. There are definitely a plethora of yummy flavors to choose from. I chose Coffee Chocolate Chip which is a specialty ice cream and although the line was pretty long I was able to get to the counter at a decent time. There were plenty of workers to assist. I was handed my ONE scoop on a cake cone... and I forgot how huge these scoops can be since I haven't been in a while. Sooo good! It's the only type of coffee I'll take (I'm not a coffee drinker LoL!) If you like coconut the MAY flavor of the month is Coconut Caramel Delight: Coconut flavored ice cream with caramel ripple and Coconut Dream cookies. You still have time. Enjoy! Review #4030

After trying a couple flavors and joking around with the crew, they suggested the Birthday Cakes & Blackberries. Sold. It was the perfect mix of sweet with just enough blackberry to balance it out. Definitely hit the spot on a warm night. The ice cream was great, but the people working there made the visit even better. Friendly, patient, and happy to let me sample a few flavors without making me feel rushed. If you're at The Fountains and that dessert craving sneaks up on you, this place is worth the stop. Just don't blame me if you leave with more than one scoop.

Menus are displayed on a screen above the counter. Laminated handheld menus are also available. (You'll find some humorously named items.) There's no seating inside, but there are tables just outside in the communal plaza. You can order at the counter or using a kiosk. However, if you've purchased a glass bottle to reuse for a $1 discount, as of the end of April, there was no way to order with your discount on the kiosk, & it was something they were figuring out. They used to have stamp cards, but now it's a phone number rewards system. Customer service has been great. Staff has been friendly, welcoming, & helpful with answering questions. One time, we lingered outside & didn't realize our order was ready, so a man kindly brought it out to us. The mister's go to is a Cowfee with boba. He loves the bold, roasted coffee flavor & creaminess. I find it tasty as well with a good chew to the boba. I appreciate being able to adjust the sweetness of my drinks. I've gotten a Thai Tea with 75% sweetness that was ok, a Tropical Twist at 50% sweetness that I liked, & my favorite So Peachee at 50% sweetness that's fruity & refreshing. We're happy customers here!

They also have unique drink selections on their menu; we try different drinks from time-to-time but generally stick to the basics because I'm a traditionalist. At our most recent visit, they had a Krem Tea/Coffee pop-up so we tried a couple of drinks in addition to our usual Mango Coco Sago drink: the banana coffee (signature Vietnamese Coffee with sweetened condensed milk and topped with a big scoop of banana pudding) and the jackfruit matcha (matcha latte with jackfruit puree, choice of milk, and jackfruit flesh). Both of the speciality drinks were quite good! I wouldn't hesitate to get the banana coffee again. My daughter would also get the jackfruit matcha again.
