Great place to pick up a smoothie or acai bowl. I came in here for a morning acai bowl and was not disappointed. Nekter juice bar is one of my favorite chains cause of the quality. I ordered the acai peanut butter bowl, and it was one of the best acai bowls I 've had (I am a big peanut butter fan). The acai base was delicious and creamy (almost like icecream to me). My husband ordered a peanut butter smoothie with protein and that was delicious as well. Service was quick - I got my acai bowl in 5 minutes or so. The inside is fresh, and a great place to hangout. I have been to Nekter many times and my experience is always top tier. When I entered the shop, it was busy but the employees were quick to acknowledge me and told me to let them know when I was ready to order. I ended up getting the pink flamingo and my girlfriend got the health nut. It was a nice surprise when the employee asked if I wanted to substitute peanut butter for almond butter at no extra charge for the health nut. The health nut was well balanced, light, and had a good consistency. The pink flamingo was very refreshing and not overwhelmingly sweet. Horrible customer service. They both ignored me for 3 min, no other customers were there but they were making orders. I kept waiting, then I saw that I could order myself on a screen so I did that. I watched them ignore about 5 more people who also didn't know that it was "self ordering". I waited for what felt way too long, probably 15 min. Looked for an alternative to Jamba and found this Nekter location. It's only my second time to visit a Nekter and I thought it was really good. I got the nut smoothie, and while it was not sweet, it was satisfying and filling. The staff are really nice there. The parking is not that great in that shopping center. Have been craving a smoothie and noticed this place was right around where I was running errands with my best friend. So glad I stopped by because I'd been wanting to try them out as well. I ordered Kristi's Kolada in a size small with no additions and it was SO good! It's like a mix between a piña colada and a strawberry daiquiri, which are two of my fave drinks! I typically don't write bad reviews but I had to in this case. First time here I order a beet juice and the sweet berry smoothie. Both were watered down we couldn't enjoy either of them. I also got the peanut butter waffles and they were covered with an overwhelming amount of peanut butter topping, the two bites that I took was like a had a full spoon of peanut butter. However, the prices are pretty steep. While the drinks are tasty, it's hard not to feel like you're overpaying compared to other juice bars in the area. For the cost, I'd expect either larger portions or more value overall. I tried it for the first time this morning based on a recommendation. I got a pb açaí bowl, which was delicious! Super filling! It was huge! I actually took half home and put it in the freezer for another meal, which is cool. I was happy they offer gf granola too! My only complaint was that they weren't busy, had a couple people working, and it was FILTHY. The tables were filthy. The floors were filthy. Even the doors and windows were absolutely disgusting, like they hadn't been cleaned in weeks. I had to eat outside because there wasn't one clean place to sit. I looked at some of the ready made food offered in the cold case and everything I looked at was expired, some by several days. Delicious food, but I worry about the cleanliness of the food storage and prep areas when the dining room, etc looks that disgusting. read more
