So far, I've really enjoyed Pressed and have had an amazing experience, which is exactly why I wanted to introduce my husband to it. Unfortunately, our visit on Friday, 8/28/26 was incredibly disappointing. The young woman working the counter seemed either very new or simply in need of additional support, because something was definitely off operationally. First, the vanilla machine was down, so that option was unavailable. Of course, that was no fault of hers and completely understandable. However, when my husband and I walked in, we were the only customers there. I'm still fairly new to the Pressed community and didn't have my membership barcode readily available. I was spending about $40, so I asked if she could look up my account using my phone number. She told me she couldn't. That honestly felt absurd and unnecessarily unhelpful. At places like Jamba, Starbucks, and countless other businesses, there is usually some alternative way to assist a customer when they don't have their barcode immediately available. Nonetheless, we placed our order. By the time we finished, two additional parties had come in, and she proceeded to take their orders before preparing ours. Fine. I understood that she was working the counter alone, and when someone is managing both the register and fulfillment, customers have to allow them some grace and time to balance both. The problem was that she never seemed to make that transition. As she continued taking orders, more customers entered, and she simply kept ringing people up without preparing any of the outstanding orders. The small lobby became increasingly crowded while completed orders remained nonexistent. My husband and I had an appointment and were already pressed for time. At one point, he tapped me and asked, "Is it always like this? Is she ever going to start making the orders so people can get out of here?" I finally asked her about the wait and mentioned that our order still hadn't been started. She told me she "needed to take all of the orders first." I asked, "Is that Pressed policy?" She said yes and continued ringing up several more customers before finally beginning our order. That made absolutely no sense to me. If that is truly Pressed policy, I would strongly encourage management to reconsider it. If it isn't, then this employee needs additional training on how to manage the counter efficiently when working alone. There has to be a reasonable rhythm--perhaps take two orders, fulfill two orders, then return to the register. Continuing to accept order after order while an increasingly crowded lobby waits for anyone's food to actually be made is inefficient and creates unnecessary frustration for everyone. As a business owner myself, I would have cringed watching the customer experience unfold this way. It wasn't simply that the location was busy; it was the lack of effective multitasking and workflow that created the backup. I've enjoyed Pressed enough that I'm not writing off the brand because of one poor experience, but this visit definitely missed the mark. And unfortunately, it was my husband's first impression. His final assessment was: "All this for some non-dairy ice cream? I'll pass." Not exactly the introduction to Pressed I was hoping to give him. I especially like that this version makes it clear you're not attacking the employee personally--you're calling out the lack of training, workflow, and customer service, which makes your complaint much stronger. Hopefully the next time I return, Cam will be there. She was a great front face for Pressed. I have to give Pressed a 2 stars for today. Subpar service, no vanilla, and long wait time. Ten stars for Sarah, she's a total love. She whipped up some great desserts and was incredibly sweet to my daughter, which always means a lot to me. The kids love popping in here after dinner for their soft serve, and today we brought along some extended family. It was honestly pretty amusing watching them squirm a bit over the "healthy tasting" ice cream experience. We do not recommend the vanilla soft serve. Tried pressed for the very first time to try the viral chocolate peppermint freeze. Got the small because it was expensive, I think almost $7? There was only one guy working alone at around 8pm so I did have to wait a bit to get my order since there was a line but no big deal. Wish there was more help. It was also pretty small inside and I felt a bit claustrophobic despite just 5 people inside. The freeze itself was pretty good and I was surprised that it's dairy free! It's like a healthier alternative to ice cream but still just as delicious. While I do still think it's overpriced, it was worth the try. Wish it was either cheaper or a bigger portion. To start, the customer service I received was subpar and well below acceptable. The young blonde girl at the register offered no friendly guidance and was essentially no help at all; her attitude was certainly not what I would expect at a high-end establishment like Pressed. Secondly, the food items themselves were very disappointing. Despite me asking clarifying questions, the staff was not transparent about the ingredients. For instance, I wasn't told the vanilla flavor is actually made of dates until after the fact. The consistency was poor, it didn't taste like vanilla at all, and the Freezy was so disgusting that I couldn't even finish it. When we went back inside to confirm the flavor, we were met with an offhanded attitude and told, "It's made of dates." A feel-good boost My daughter introduced me to Pressed Juicery and I tried their Grapefruit Mint Juice Citrus 3 flavor... it was very refreshing and deeeeelicious! It's probably not a popular taste but I love grapefruit for its flavor and its health benefits. I struggle with sweets but grapefruit is said to help reduce insulin resistance, which can lower the risk of developing type 2 diabetes. This healthy juice is a blend of grapefruit, aloe vera and mint. I love any of the tangy flavors. Great flavors for cleansing and detox... would love to try the Strawberry Orange Mango Smoothie next time and the Apple Pineapple Lemon Juice. I've always been into juicing - it is just a total mess to clean up and then you have to buy all those fruits and veggies! So when daughter decided that Press Juicery is her latest thing to spend her allowance $ on, I was onboard. You can purchase a multitude of different juices that are ready to go in their plastic, albeit recyclable containers. I won't go into the nitty gritty details - if there is something that you fancy, the upbeat workers will be more than happy to pour you a small sample. For me, my favorite menu pick is the freeze. These are frozen non-dairy concoctions similar to froyo, but vegan. As someone who doesn't do dairy, these are a treat. I opted for the chocolate (sweetened with dates) and the strawberry (real strawberry flavor - none of that artificial stuff). There was a special going on, three choices for $15. Daughter and I each got a freeze and she chose an extra juice for the road. I believe you do get at least two toppings to choose from with a large size - I got the quinoa chocolate things - they resemble M&Ms - and almond butter topping. OMG. Deliciousness without the guilt. Come here very regularly.. sometimes more than once a week , over the years I'm deducting a star because the service is hit and miss I've had great experiences and TERRIBLE ones . Once during store operational hours I waited in line , a long line ..the store was open but for some reason the employees locked the doors and hid in the back . Customers in line tried calling no answer and ultimately left . I've experienced rude staff members but also super friendly staff members . Sometimes machines are broken or they are outta flavors .
