I came here for my braces and it's also my favorite place for teeth cleaning. They did an amazing job on my teeth with the braces and they use the ultrasonic scaler for teeth cleaning which I absolutely love rather than the old fashion scraper thing. They have a nice updated office and the staff is friendly and welcoming and the doctors are all great, I've ended having them all! Being from Rockford I was looking local to get an estimate on one implant. Ace Dental pops up on the internet with Chicago, Lombard, Hoffman Estate and Rockford location & address. Also xray and consultation free for a new patient. No more Rockford or Chicago location but still on there website which I find somewhat misleading. Still a little over an hour drive and got right in. Xray and consult went well meeting with Dr Azam Saeed aka Dr Akber?? Next is the Practice Manager Dr Madha for consult and cost for the implant & crown. Dr Madha gave me his cell and email for any questions which I did have running through my head on the way back to Rockford. Fair price as I did have one other estimate prior. Both seemed very professional. Poor to no response over a period of a month so called the office. Giggling receptionist said he's not available and somehow SHE added to the estimate (had only been 2 weeks) after she looked at it. I realize this review may be vague on all details but trying to get to the point. Dr Madah has been licensed in Illinois since 9/21. Dr Akber name could not be found on IDPR so I tried his other name Azam Saeed. There are several but nothing with that first name. I myself am a licensed (not as a dentist) so this is a normal procedure for me and not in any way trying to discredit anyone. If I was to ever go back (never), I would look for a dental license which by law should be displayed. Found another dentist that was closer with a better price. Moral of the story is do your homework - its your teeth and it gets pricy. read more

I attended this dentist a couple weeks ago. Granted I hadn't been to a dentist in a long while so I was expecting some kind of work that I would need to get done. As the doctor examined my teeth she stated that I have a lot of cavities, 10 of them from what she examined. Which I was shocked, because I do take care of my teeth and I don't drink pop or binge on sugary food. She then said I needed Invisalign because my teeth were crowded and that if I don't do it I will get more cavities. I then got my teeth cleaned... as best as the person could. Which then when I approached the front to check out, the front desk staff jokingly says "looks like your going to need A LOT of work" in front of the other people in the waiting room. How embarrassing. She gave me an estimate of $2,300 for my fillings and said I need to come in for it immediately. I didn't schedule that day but instead thought on it. I went to get a second opinion from Webster Dental Care literally up the street from Ace. I informed the doctor there that I could have as many as 10 cavities. She took a look and was surprised that I was told that information. She only found 2 cavities that weren't in desperate need to get done immediately. As far as Invisalign, she explained in DETAIL why it would be beneficial. Also she stated that who ever cleaned by teeth left my back molars undone. To say the least I was furious. Ace dental cares about the money not the patients. They do a half a** job. Save the time and your money and go to Webster Dental where they actually care. read more

this Place is a total NIGHTMARE! I don't know where to begin I don't know how some reviewers left 5 stars it deserves No stars at all there money Hungry they are not gentle and they know nothing about something so simple as a whitening they did not realize I had fillings in my two side teeth so when they did the whitening those two teeth that had fillings did not turn they kept applying Bleach over and Over Again to whiten those two teeth but it didn't work because of the fill so they tried at least 4 times till they discolored my gums for a few weeks when the only reason I was getting a whiting in the first place is because I was in a wedding. i was so scared to get my wisdom teeth out but the procedure exceeded my expectations. my mom goes to Ace Dental and loves it so I chose here to get my surgery. No one believed me when i told them how fast they got them out. all 4 out in 10 minutes and i was awake the whole time and couldn't believe he was even taking them out because i felt nothing. it was so convenient and easy! i just got them out a couple hours ago and i'm writing this from my couch with an ice pack on my cheeks feeling mild discomfort. loves it read more

Went to a few different Ortho Specialists in the Northwestern Suburbs and we chose this one. The Dentist we chose is Dr Miriam and she's great. They also have incredible prices on Expanders and Braces compared to the area. The waiting room is small and congested, so be prepared for that. read more

I saw Dr. Saeed because I was interested in an advanced form of teeth whitening. Rather than spending money over and over again on at home treatment, I was looking for a significant change to my teeth. He presented a few options. This type of dental work, cosmetic dentistry, is not always covered by insurance. I double checked with my insurance to see how much would contribute, if any. I compared his rates & procedure type to ones downtown Chicago. Honestly, Ace Dental proved to be a way better buy. The whole process was fairly quick (1 hour treatment) and in no time I had dramatically whiter teeth. Dr. Saeed gave me multiple tips as well as a print out on how to maintain my teeth as well. Generally not a fan of Dentists however started having pain so needed to go in. I was worried I would have to wait a few days for an appointment but they were able to take me in for later that day. The front desk staff were very nice and made the check-in process simple. Dr. Saeed's assistant took me in fairly quickly and started checking and soon thereafter he came in. Dr. Saeed explained to me what was going on and what needed to happen. He took care of the tooth extraction fairly quickly and throughout the process kept making sure that i was ok. The outcome of my braces was good but the staff was absolute trash they were rude,mean with u and some of the doctors treated you like if you were stupid and when I got the retainer it wasn't supposed to be noticable but you could clearly see the retainer and the silava in it and they told me u have to learn how to swallow your silava like wtf??? Let me start out by saying , I am a very skeptical person in General when it comes to Doctors , I feel like not all Dr. are in practice because they actually care for their patients and really there for the money, now don't get me wrong I understand that this is their living and what they went to school for ( Hopefully, lol) and have to make a living, but I have been to a lot of Dr.(dentists included ) where I feel rushed like I'm really just a $$ sign, and they are not really interested in my concerns or needs. That being said, I am 50 yrs old and decided that I wanted to straighten my teeth( I know why..lol ) I guess I just thought it was worth it to look into it. So I started with my dentist, I have only been with for maybe a yr and picked mostly because of location to my home and because they took my insurance through work. My dentist wanted to pull teeth and quoted me $5800 ( my insurance does not cover Orthodontics) and my experience has not been all warm and fuzzy caring, not bad either though. So I decided since I had to pay for this out of pocket that I should at least look for something cheaper, not hopeful in finding reasonable and quality care, I found ACE Dental in Hoffman Estates and they advertised a really cheap price, so I called and scheduled a consultation, but walked in very skeptical and scared of what I might find in an office that was doing something that is so expensive everywhere else , so cheap. When I walked into the office I was completely taken aback by what I saw....... It was a beautifully decorated and modern office !! Ok so now they passed the 1st test..lol . Then I was greeted by a couple of young ladies sitting at the desk, so nice and friendly ! Ok 2nd test passed ! I was in the waiting room for maybe about 10 min, and every time someone walked out from the back room they greeted me said hello with a big smile ( these were workers, assistants I think ) nice now I am feeling really welcomed and positive but still skeptical, because that's me :) then I was called back for x-rays, took my x-rays and was asked to sit back out in the waiting room, so sat back out there for about another maybe 5 min before I called back to the DR. office ( Dr. Saeed ) Dr Saeed, greeted me very pleasantly and asked me what brought me there and what my concerns were after telling him about my crooked teeth etc. He talked to me with compassion and sincerity, showed me my x-rays and gave me about 3 different options, and then the price !! (Jaws music playing ) yup although still lower than my Dentist quote , not what I saw advertised , see I knew it was to good to be true...oh but wait He explained what that advertised price was for, and guess what.. said he would do it for that price ..wait what ..are you sure ? what's the catch ??There must be add on's , additional charges for this and that right ?? Nope that's it out the door !!!! wow ok 3rd and 4th test passed to ! lol So then Dr. Saeed asked if I was ready to do this, I'm like wait what you mean right now ? (oh yeah forgot to mention he didn't need to pull any teeth either ) I am not one to make decisions just like that, I have to think things through, so I was going to go home and come back in a week and get them done probably. Then the consultant and assistant ( sorry forgot his and her name) because the Doc was seeing another patient, and talked to me some more, and about the financing ( which is also great ) so I took about maybe 30 min and decided to get my braces put on that night ..wow I never do that so I must have been comfortable ! So the Dr. came to the chair I was put in , walked me through it and about 45 min later I walked out with Braces :) The Dr. even said he can't wait to see the results and I sure cant either...I hope all these good vibes continue throughout this 2yr process !!! Figured out how much insurance would cover from them & then set up an apt. In just one visit they were able to remove the tooth & replace it with an artificial one that blended in with my mouth & other teeth. I took my toddler son for his first ever dental checkup few months ago, I am not sure if dr. Saeed was busy or lazy. The assistant helped clean the teeth, the doctor came in for literally 1 min and took a quick look and said, keep doing what you are doing. What does that mean? I expected him give me atleast 5 min consultation to have a discussion. And to see if I can do anything better. My son is not very eager to brush everyday, and does miss his brushing frequently. I was dissatisfied with the time given and a 1 min examination is a rip off! If you do not have time do not schedule appointment, atleast don't waste other people time. My advice is save your time and money and find a dentist who can give you the time for examination and also have a discussion. read more

I was here well over year ago, It seems they may have made a new yelp page to remove the negative reviews, but personally I had the worst experience here, I had to transfer over to a new orthodontist. I don't know if their management has changed during this time (as I notice the logo is no longer the same), or if they started a new yelp site to remove negative reviews from their page but during my time here I experienced very unhygienic practices both in this location and their Lombard location. I was touched in the mouth several times with bare hands, their instruments looked dirty and once in the Lombard location, while I was waiting in the hallway I experienced the female doctor Taiba Nasreen move from one patient to another with the same pair of gloves. I left this place after on two separate occasions developing a white bubbly rash on my lips immediately after my orthodontist appointment. They were not the most attentive when it came to my needs as they left me several times with wires poking in my mouth even after I told them of my issue. I have also spoken with other former customers who had described the same unhygienic practices occurring to them. There were several of errors committed here with my teeth that were later corrected when I transfered to a new orthodontist who took a full mouth x ray of my teeth to really see what the bone structure looked like at the roots, something they never did at Ace Dental. Like I said I really do hope the management of this place has changed and that Taiba Nasreen is no longer working there as she is the doctor who I experienced unhygenic practices during my time as a patient read more
