I had a great experience at Ace Dental. I came in for a check up and saw that I needed a retreat on a root canal previously done a couple years ago and a filling that was very deep. I have had bad experience with dentist before and was really nervous as I have not been to the dentist in a long time. I was nervous but Dr.Vu made me feel very safe and welcome. The dental assistants were very kind and tended to my needs. The root canal treatment itself was a bit long but Dr.Vu made sure to keep checking in and out to see if I was comfortable. The best part was that I had no pain during the numbing process/dental treatment itself. He was also able to do a filling that same day that was very fast and saved my tooth. Overall, my experience was a 10/10. I am no longer afraid of going back to the dentist as I have a doctor who cares about my wellbeing and best of all NO PAIN WITH NUMBING/NEEDLES!! This place is so terrible. All they want is your insurance money. They don't care about you. They asked you to sign a bill when they numb your teeth so you can't refuse them. OMG this place is like HELL. This place should be out of business. Doctor Hoang has never explained to you about what he would do on your teeth but they bill max on your insurance and plus your cash. Not sure why all these reviews are bad.. But I won't go anywhere but here to get my teeth worked on by Dr. Hoang. I have had 2 bridges, multiple crowns and today more work done. I was in and out in less than a hour for extractions and didn't feel a thing. Yes.. My teeth were that bad.. But I have nearly a perfect smile now. I got 4 estimates and this place hands down was significantly less. The staff is friendly and his assistant was great too. I guess everyone has different experiences..but mine was and still is worth 5 stars. read more

They have a periodontist, orthodontist, and dentist. It seems like the dentist is the man in charge. Orthodontics is in operation on weekends. I went to them for a year and a half for my braces, and there is nothing more I'd like back than my wasted time. Originally, they estimated for my braces to be done in November. Come December, I asked them and they said February. Come March, they said six more months. At that point, I noticed they stopped tightening my braces and that my teeth were shifting while braces were in. My teeth looked perfectly fine and then they stopped tightening my wires, resuming me to assume my treatment was done and they were holding me up. They did not fast forward with my treatment until I told them I was moving. I told them two months ahead and they said, "your teeth are fine, anyways!" So if I never told them I was moving, would they have just prolonged the process??? Ridiculous! The orthodontist the whole time did his job on the backend, but it was the dentist, Dr. Hoang (shorter, Asian male, with hair combed to the side and glasses) who remained completely inconsiderate and unprofessional. While taking my braces off, he was extremely rough and I was practically crying. I watched videos of braces being taken before and NONE of them showed the pain I felt. I asked people who've had and taken braces off too. Nope, not supposed to hurt. But Dr. Hoang insisted he was doing it right even with tears falling down my eyes and my head jerking back and forth. He also made me pay 60$ for a teeth cleaning, when he told me it'd be free when I decided to go with them for braces. He had asked me to come back the following Monday at 4 to pick up my retainers. Come Monday at 4, I wait 50 minutes, ask them for an update, they kept telling me to give them a couple minutes. I wait and tell them I have someone waiting for me outside. He yells at me and says they're working on my retainers and need another 30 minutes. Why would you tell me to come at 4 and not have them done? And then yell at me when I ask why they aren't done? It's your job. How incompetent does one have to be to assume they are not at fault for uncompleted work? I get my retainers and they don't even fit right. Don't ever go here. Pay more for service that'll never fail. Everyone else in the office never ticked me off except the dentist himself. Dr. Richard Hoang is not only incapable of providing even just OK customer service, but also at being a dentist. Get a new job and stop being so money hungry. read more

Took my mom here for free consultation for denture implant. Oh boy, that Vietnamese male doctor was an ass hole. He was so rough and mean and caused my mom tooth to bleed terribly. He was examining her teeth and i dont understand why he poked her tooth so hard with his finger to cause it to bleed. My mom was so in pain and frightful that everytime he put his hand on her chin, she quickly moved backward. After he quoted the pricing, which of course costed an arm and leg, we tried to negotiate for better pricing. My gosh...he started to yell at us. He was extremely rude. Boy was i am glad he showed his true colors before putting my mom's life at the risk of this so call dentist. The place was horribly set up and i can understand why people working there seemed quite upset. I chipped my tooth and was referred to Dr.Hoang because he does cosmetic dentistry. I called him last minute and he was able to accommodate me and fixed my tooth within an hour. This place deserves a 1 star because they did a really bad job on my bottom teeth and every time I come in, my teeth become worse and worse. I bite my tongue at every night because of this and when I tell the dentists, they don't care at all. They don't even want to help me. All this place wants is your money. They have really bad service here. They only focus on new clients and they don't care about clients from the passed. Like I said, all they want is your money which frustrates me. Went here for braces because "$1,500" off. Charged us for retainer practically put my self esteem down so I could get ceramics braces (clear). So everything adds up is basically the normal price. The actual ortho who does the braces only comes in TWICE a month. Very inconvenient. Put my spacers on WAY too early & it keeps falling off. Had it for almost a month already. Only put brackets on for my top teeth. I get it if they can't put wire on yet but hello what about the bottom teeth? Overall this place is not good not organized at all and shady a'f. This is the worse dental office I've ever been to. I came for the 1st time to clean my teeth and the male Asian doctor checked my teeth and then asked the old female dentist to clean and fill my teeth for me. She did a very bad job, not filling my teeth evenly to the point where I could not (they filled in too much so the tooth that was filled was longer then the other teeth). I had to come back 3 times to have them fix this. Both of the doctors are VERY rude and have bad attitude. They did not want to take care my teeth and charged a lot of money to my insurance. Very very poor dentists and services. All they care about is money. Before I was planning to have tooth implants but now I've canceled it. Never coming back. These dentists have no heart. read more

Dr Hoang is the best, most efficient dentist I have ever been to in my life...I loved him from the first moment I met him....I was referred by a friend who went with me....he sat me right down in the chair and we talked about veneers....It was so easy and he was ready whenever I was. I could not believe how reasonable his prices were compared to a couple other places I had checked....So I got my veneers a couple weeks later and have been happy ever since.....I also go here for all my cleaning and he has kept me in fine shape....lately I needed my front bottom 4 teeth pulled because of bone loss....So now he built my temporary bridge and soon I will have my new permanent bridge.....Everything matches and I have never had such a great smile.....All of his staff is friendly and great at their jobs.....Never has their been any pain and every experience from Dr. Hoang has been positive and wonderful.....Thank you Doc for saving me thousands of dollars.....You are the best.... this place tries to sell you too many expensive procedures that weren't necessary. I know from experience when I walked in for a tooth ache hoping they can pull it out but ended up getting a deep cleaning, a bunch of drilling and filling and still didn't get what I originally came for. As if they left my toothache alone on purpose so I would come back. Worst of all, the fillings they did cause me sensitivity even when I drink room temperature water. I will file a complaint against this dental clinic. I choked on my saliva while a needle was in my gums during anesthesia injection because the stupid dental asst didn't do her job right. I felt most of the pain from the drilling few times because the doctor didn't know how to inject anesthesia correctly.when all set n done Then they wanted to make an appt to do my left side. After that, I never came back due to lack of professionalism, knowledge of work and pressure from staff. They made me feel like my whole mouth was rotten and that I needed these procedures. I left feeling worse then I came in. Everyone who works there seems to know how to persuade people as if they were all trained like sales people. I don't recommend anyone coming here with my bad experience. As for my toothache,, I ended up getting it pulled out by another dentist who didn't try to up sell me. read more
