We choose model 2057 to accommodate our HOA in our new neighborhood, it had to be at least 2000 sq. ft. We started with the initial layout and changed everything we wanted to change. We moved walls, changed windows, updated just about everything; cabinets, flooring, windows, back deck space and coverage, lighting, doors, room height, you name it we added to it. What we got was what we planned. Tracy, Brent and Donna all worked to make our magic happen. They helped through the total process from changing plans and re-changing plans to accommodate the financial changes that come from building your own vision. What I love about working with all three of these people is their detail to attention on our behalf and every time I texted, sent an email or even called I got an immediate response. Their demeanor is friendly and so helpful. Even though every build has stresses they did not let us know when their were issues that we did not need to know about. If something needed to be changed along the way, they immediately communicated with us and we made the necessary changes to accommodate those changes. We are now down to the final steps and we are still working closer than ever and it is a real joy to talk to any of them. I will miss my daily communications with Tracy after our build is done but I feel I have totally made new friends that helped make our dream come true.

My husband and I had bought a home built in 2000 and aside from the kitchen and receiving area, we had wall-to-wall beige (more like greige after 20 years) carpet - even on the stairs. We have 2 small dogs so anyone with small dogs knows that this is a nightmare. We weren't sure how to get everything done but still be in budget - and not lose any value by ripping out the little existing hardwoods we had. Greg, off the bat, had a very clear idea of how he was going to accomplish our vision. He helped us come to the conclusion of doing the downstairs in hardwood to match what was already there then install matching LVP for the upstairs. He struck us as very knowledgeable about his work and he really took the time to explain the do's and don't's in the process. He was always reachable, accommodating, and punctual. He definitely goes above and beyond, dropping off samples for us to see as well as being conscious of our budget. We had a few miscommunications about scheduling and ordering some material but nothing that was too big of a deal. It turned out working out for the better both times! Even if the material for upstairs and downstairs are different, the transition is seamless and Greg did a really good job of finding a stain that we liked and was easy to find a match for. I told them the timeline I needed the job to be completed and they agreed and executed the job. However, they were later for the initial survey. What was also frustrating was that I got no call or heads-up about what was happening. I had to reach out to find out why there was a delay and when I could expect someone to be at my home. Then, on the day of the repair, the tech no-showed on me. I had been waiting around just for this repair and had other places I had to be, so I couldn't continue to wait past the service window that had been agreed upon. I again had to reach out to the shop to see what was going on as I received no phone call with a status update. I understand jobs run long sometimes, but I don't understand why I was never given a simple courtesy call. As this was late afternoon on a Friday, I asked for a manager to call on Monday to discuss a discount due to the delay. Again, no one called me.. so I reached out Monday afternoon after the window had been replaced Monday morning (tech was on time on Monday as I had the first appointment slot). I asked the manager for a discount to be applied since the tech had been late twice. He said they couldn't do this since this was "a rush job," and they had to squeeze us into the schedule as it was. At no point was I ever told before that this was a "rush job" or that I was using some kind of expedited service, so to claim no discount could be applied since they were really doing me a favor was pretty annoying. However, the shop did apply a Military discount, which was much appreciated. I had a short timeline to get this work done and didn't have the time or energy to fight this more, so I left it at that. The window was fixed quickly, and the work looked great. Here's what would have made things right: a phone call when the tech was running late, an honest review of the schedule and what the timeline for the job was, the manager to call back when requested, and a discount applied for their mistake with scheduling (even if they just called the military discount a courtesy discount I would have been happier).

I hired Corey and his crew to paint my home that is currently being remodeled. I paid him for the…read moreservice plus the cost of materials. The crew that came rushed through the initial paint job. There was wall paint on the ceiling in some places and in others ceiling paint on the walls. I had to ask them to clean paint off of my new pellet stove in my living room as they did not have it covered while painting. They also put 2 holes in my master bathroom wall that still needs to be repaired. The paint job was horrible and patchy. The wall paint was thin and did not cover completely. When asked to return to fix the problems the problems just got worse. They tried to patch the bathroom holes and did a terrible job. They repainted around the ceiling and top of the walls to fix the over paint and did not tape the lines so there was still paint on the walls and ceiling that didn't belong. The 3rd time they came to fix what they had done I had just had my hardwood floors installed. The painters Got paint all over my brand new floors. Said he had dirty drop clothes so he didn't want to use them. He Used and stole my tools from my garage. He even Took and broke my swiffer out of my garage to clean the wet paint off my brand new wood floors. When he did that he got paint in the wood grain of my hand scraped wood floors that will not come off. When I spoke to Corey, The owner, Corey Told me to file a claim and also told me to hire another painter. Said the crew he provided was fired for their poor performance and he had nothing else to give. I'm so disappointed that someone can provide such terrible unprofessional service and not care or try to help fix the problem. Hope you learn from my mistakes and hire someone else

I found Corey on Craigslist, initially. He was friendly and had time available to go to my parents home and provide a bid. The bid was such a reasonable bid, I was concerned since many local competitors were twice as much. I asked Corey for references and called each one. I googled his company and his references and license was insured and bonded. Great! I hired him! He completed our home on proposed schedule, with base primer and final coat! Thank you Corey. He is now going to work on the exterior and we will post photographs, soon!
