What a great company to have on our property. Premier Fence has now built two projects for us, absolutely the best fence company we have had on our property. They first built a custom gate for us that neighbors still comment on "what a great job." They finished an entire custom fence for us that looks amazing. Every member of the staff from Dixie and Sammi in the office, to the guys in field are top professionals that are welcome in my home anytime. Yes, we had other fence companies come out but know one could touch their quality, customer service or price. We have been so pleased they will be building another fence for us as soon as the schedule allows for it to begin. Really disappointing. Estimator was friendly, walked the site with me, and wrote up a contract. But the crew wasn't very good and there were several problems. Their office called me a few times, wanting to do less work because putting the fence beside the rockery was going to hard work, and also wanting to flip one section of the fence, so it would be installed backwards/differently than the other pieces, because the nail gun wouldn't fit between neighbor's shed and my fence, and didn't want to have to use a hammer. I expressed my dismay, asking what was the point of walking the job site and writing a contract if they weren't planning to follow it. They did eventually agree and install the fence all facing the same direction. The boards had a LOT of knots...a lot. So there were quickly many holes in the fence where these fell out. But we decided it added "character" and didn't worry about it. Fast forward 5 years and one week (they gave a 5 year warranty) and I notice some of the fence posts are loose, causing fence to wobble in several locations. It's a VERY LARGE cedar fence and 9 of the posts (on 3 sides) are loose/wobbling. I call them to have them look at it. I'm informed it's because it's on the shady side so the cedar posts just rot really fast in the shade. I'm surprised by that claim, firstly. It's EXPECTED that the cedar fence posts would rot out in just 5 years?!? But also, it's actually on 3 sides of the fence, including the side that gets full sunlight. But the guy replies that they're really busy because there was a windstorm and all they can offer is to install metal posts next to the rotting/falling down cedar posts. This would cost me $800. Not impressed. I end up hiring someone else to replace the rotting posts. He is shocked as he excavates/exposes the posts. Says there wasn't nearly enough concrete used to set the posts. That it's only for the first 2" or 3" and then the rest of the buried portion of the post is just in soil. Also, he shows me that the concrete wasn't mixed properly. You can pick up a chunk of it and BREAK IT APART with your hands. He thinks the crew was in a hurry and/or lazy, just dumped dry cement in the holes and then used hose to wet the cement, rather than using a mixer and making the cement properly. I'm attaching photos of the posts having rotted out in just 5 years. This was a very expensive and large fence. And I really wanted to love Premier Fence (I do like that they install a metal frame to help support their gates. That part is nice. But when the cedar posts rot out, the fence tilts and the gate doesn't function well, either). It's possible for a contractor to have a crew who doesn't do things right. But when that contractor doesn't care about making things right/rectifying the situation, then I am not impressed. read more

We contacted Premier after the last windstorm when we noticed our fence was leaning because a post had rotted. We waited 3 1/2 weeks for someone to come and give us a quote. We were fine with this because we wanted to work with them. Our appointment was January 6 and Adam arrived a couple minutes ahead of the set time (how nice is that??). We walked around the yard and he gave three different options on how we could fix the fence. We decided what worked best for us and he said he would email us a quote in a couple of days. We actually discussed the company that had built our fence and he said that they were a small company and were not that reliable, so we were happy to work with a company that seemed interested in helping us with the fence. A week went by and we hadn't heard anything. My husband finally called and got ahold of someone and explained we were waiting for our quote. A little bit later we received an email that stayed they declined to give us a bid because they didn't want to work on a fence someone else had built. What?? You failed to mention that to us throughout the entire process. You had no problem bashing the company that built our fence, and you were absolutely fine fixing our fence when you were here. My guess is that since it was just a couple of posts that he went back and decided it wasn't worth their time. What a horrible policy, if it is really one at all. So now we are back to square one looking for a fence company that can help fix our posts. Thanks for wasting over a month for us, Premier Fence. read more

We just had our new fence installed, and couldn't be happier with the quality. The gates are very sturdy with a metal frame. They were nice enough to trim a few hedges for us that were close to the fence line. The posts were installed and a week later the fence was completed!! They showed up on time each time. My only complaint is how long it took to get scheduled after putting down a deposit. I thought I would be put on the calendar when I brought in the deposit, but instead had to wait for a call. It took over a week. Overall, a very good experience! We are very happy with our fence!! I'm giving 5 stars because quality is the most important to me! Premier came highly recommended from a few different contractors I know. read more

I would not recommend them to my enemies. I was forced to pay for a portion of the fence they did not install. I had to make a change on the day of my appointment so I was asked to sign a change order which stated the price of the remaining fence would increase. When I received the invoice I was billed for the entire project even though a section of the fence was not installed. They stated that I did not give them any prior notice of the change so I was responsible for the total on the proposal. I wish I would have read the other 2017 reviews and went with a different company. Paid for a fence they did not install! read more

I hired them because they seemed very professional. Their quoted price was the same as their competition. After waiting a long time for them to get time to do the job they did it quickly. Less than a week after the job was done my aluminum fence was rusting and the concrete was cracked. I had to call them three time before they came to look at it. They told me that the messed on the welds. He told me they would get back to me. Since then I have called them a few times but they will not talk to me. All I get is the run around. I will have to replace they gates in a few years. They will not get my business. read more

I give an average review on Premier! Product wise I love their work and the way our fence turned out. But after about two months both of the posts by two of our gates turned sideways making it almost impossible to open and shut. We contacted them and they advised they normally don't fix problems like that but because it had only been a couple months they would. I was excited only to never receive a phone call or email again to rectify the situation. So alas here we still have no fix and it's been a couple years now. read more

Okay quality fence but piss poor customer service, and the quote does not mean anything. Even if they do a portion of the work you will get a bill for the entire thing. We got recommended Premier Fence by our friend who used them for all his fence jobs (around property line as well as their pool area for child safety) they were extremely happy with their professional skills as well the reliability, so as we like to get the best deal now days we had 3 other company's to come out and give us estimates. Didn't took us long to decide who to choose, Premier had the best value for the buck and also they stained the fence before they installed it! We feel we made the best choice by going with Premier. We are now enjoying our private backyard with awesome looking fence. This review is based on their product they sell out of their yard in marysville. The 4x4 post I purchased and actually 4-1/8" x 4-1/8" refered to has 5x5's or 4x4 Heavys. You cant buy theses at lowes or home depot. They are what commercial fence contractors use. Very solid and 75% stronger than normal 4x4. Also purchased 1x4x6 pickets and cedar 2x4s, very good quality. read more

They redid the front half of our neighbors fence and apparently rushed through the job leaving several boards at the bottom unsecured and not nailed in at all. Because of this our dog got out and ran away, out of what should be a fully enclosed yard (luckily an amazing couple called the number on her tag to return her). Back in May we had a new fence installed by Premier I was not really impressed with the company. Not only are there many hidden fees that do not get stated in their initial walk through estimate but the customer service is far below standards! I our quote we requested curves to both gates which they did but apparently they did not have the stain on them to take care of the top of the gate after cutting the boards....when we called to ask they said we had to by the stain and do it our self. Then we had a concrete base on one of the posts crack and called to ask if they would come and repair it and they said they would schedule it the next time they had a job in Everett....that was over 3-1/2 months ago and still have not heard a word from them so my husband brought the concrete mix and fixed it himself...then on the front of the fence they attached 2 half boards instead of a whole board which left a gap running down the board, and again we called and asked if they could change it out and were told to come and buy the boards from them and replace our self......I WILL NEVER EVER RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE!!!! read more

I called Premier for a quote on a combination of cedar fence and black coated wire fence. They quoted the job along with 2 competitors. Their price was lower than one and equal to another, but what sold it is their professionalism. They provided a clear, legible, quote with a drawing of what they were quoting (nice touch that helps avoid confusion). The owner's son and another gentleman who's been with the company for 20 years came out to install the posts. They were very professional and quick. A few days later (after the posts had set) a second crew came to install the panels/wire. They too were professional and quick. They managed to work on fresh sod without destroying it and they did us a favor by cutting down an old stump at the edge of the yard. Nice touch! The fence looks great and I would recommend them to others. (In fact, our neighbor had a fence installed by Premier and it looks great too.) read more

This company built a fence of rotting wood, in a location other than we asked, and in the process fenced off part of our property so we could no longer use it and vandalized an existing fence. When we refused to pay them until they at least added a gate, they got a lien on our property, get a judge to put us in foreclosure (even though we always pay our mortgage). Our home goes up for foreclosure auction in January. I may never forgive my husband for hiring this company. Premier Fence is the worst thing that ever happened to us. After almost 30 years in construction this is the first time that I have ever heard of a fencing company, taking down an existing fence, standing the posts and then leaving the site, stating that they might be back in a week. What a joke, 3 house all with dogs and no fence for how long? OH and BTW never ever do you need to wait 3 days for the concrete around the post to cure for 3 days before starting the fence..... what a load. read more

1- They didn't build the fence in the location we wanted. 2- They built a fake gate (looked kinda like a gate but wasn't... I'm not joking) which made us loose access to part of our yard. 3- The wood they used was rotten. 4- They charged us for staining the fence... but they neglected to stain the top of the fence. They refused to fix any of these problems. Then they put a lien on our home because we wouldn't pay until they completed the job. Needless to say: Wouldn't recommend. read more

Said I'd keep you posted. I Wrote my last review on 7/11/12 and at that point it had been 17 days since my first call to get my fence fixed. Well, it's now 8/22/12 and Premier Fence has STILL NOT come out to fix my fence. Every call is met with shock and surprise that "they" haven't come to fix the fence. It's getting to the point that we call every other day just to hear the next creative BS excuse. I sincerely Hope these 5 star folks don't have any trouble with their fences; if so good luck! They were not the lowest price, we chose them because of the friendly service we received from the receptionist. Once the contract was signed we had to deal with the project foreman, and the worst customer service and verbal abuse you can imagine. The initial post placement was out of alignment, the gates were measured to small. we had to argue to get them corrected. The back gate was improperly installed backwards and they refused to come out and change it. One month later and the boards are starting to warp. I would never endorse this company and never want them back at my house. read more

Paid deposit and got my start and finish date. Just before the start we call to confirm, the lady in the front office tells a date weeks further out, we correct her on two different phone calls, She finally gets it right. If we hadn't called they would have never showed up on the date contracted to start. When installing the new posts they were not following contract, failing to place post for the extension I paid for , I told the workers, one of them was rude about it. I called the office and told them they weren't building my fence per contract. Again, If I had not been on top of it, they would have screwed that up also. I wait ten days for them to return, instead of the 7 days they told us for the cement drying time. Yes, they pushed us back, they couldn't even get back on the job in a reasonable time. Fence is installed, 7 days after install we notice a badly wrapped 2X4 bottom rail, we call them to report, front office is concerned and tells us that shouldn't happen, and she will have the foreman contact us. One Week later no return call, I call back I get the same, will have foreman contact you, and we are so busy! Third week we get the owners son at the house to look at it, he climbs over the fence instead of walking around and tries to unwrap the 2x4 with his foot, pushing it inward, really!, risk more damage! Days later they have the audacity to write us a repair bill of $200.86 should we want if fixed, their below cost good deal figure, they claim. I called the office again and expressed this is not right, my paying for a defective board that has been installed merely a week. They are claiming "exposure to the elements", unbelievable, after only one week my 5 Year warranty is non-existent. So after speaking with the owners son he's says he'll have either his brother (foreman) or his father (owner) contact me. I call the front office the next two weeks, I get the same I'll pass it on to the foreman, He should have he called you , and we have been so busy! I file a complaint with the BBB, well, premier fence could care less, they refuse to stand up and take the responsibility for the defective material installed. The defective 2x4 which they claim is top quality pushes the fence out 1 1/2 inch from the rest of fence, now separating fence board and from post. They refuse to stand by their product, even when its bad, their warranty is worthless. Their customer service is even worse, they ignore as long as they can. At one point they offered me a free replacement 2X4 and one fence board, then two days later pulled that offer unless I went back and changed my BBB claim to satisfied customer. Claim ended in no resolution, they refuse to take care of the customer after cashing your check. Do they think I just fell off the turnip truck, their track record says they would have no intention of turning any materials free of charge over to me. Avoid giving premier fence a single penny of your hard earned money. Customer service fails to provide, front office fails to communicate with you, and cannot keep your project on track, and correct. Warranty fails miserable to deliver any promise that you'll have a long lasting wood fence, I found out that after one week the warranty was void. A complete avoidance of responsibility in claiming "exposure to elements" Yep, after one week to avoid their lack of quality product. Now what chance do you think you'll have after a month, a year, or two. A complete lack of integrity! Avoid the disappointment Premier Fence, Inc is selling. read more

Great Job! Just had Premier install over 700' of cedar fencing. Very happy with the results.

DO NOT BUY FROM THESE GUYS THEY WILL NOT LET YOU SEE WHAT YOU ARE GETTING AND 30+% OF WHAT I GOT WAS GARBAGE.I saw an internet add these guys had for 1.13 a board for cedar fencing. When I got there they said that was the low grade fencing. I asked if they had something better, they said yes residential grade for $1.50 a board. They do not let you look at all of the boards you are buying(you get what they load into your vehicle. I purchased 110 boards approx. 35 were unusable, some were warped, some had beetle grub damage, some had excessive crowning, others were just too rough ratty or malformed too much of an eye sore to allow using them. I called to complain they told me tough luck no replacements, returns or refunds. read more

We have had the fence for 11 months. They were running a few days late, they were short handed. Ending result is the fence turned out excellent, great workmanship. They did good crowns on the posts and a beautiful job on our double 7' gates. Used steel posts for the support and aluminum tubbing frame which helped the support of the gate. Turned out great. They cleaned up after themselves. We used #1 1x6 boards, cedar 2x4's, 4 1/4 x 4 1/4 treated posts. Good products. Have had many compliments from neighbors. THANKS read more

We had Premier Fence come and give us a quote for fencing our yard. This took a month before someone came to see us, I understand, they are busy. They gave us a quote (this also took more than a week), we agreed and paid half down. Then they realized they had forgot to ad staining to the quote and it would be more money. We agreed to pay it. The day arrived for them to start. The first thing they did was measure the yard again and wouldn't you know it.... the first guy had made another mistake and miss-measured by 20 feet and it was going to be more money again. I called Adam and offered to split the cost of his second mistake (this would have been about $300 each on a $5000 job). He wouldn't do it and he wasn't even apologetic. The workers told us they would also charge an additional $45 per post hole if they hit cement or anything unusually difficult. It seemed like a trick. Give a low quote, wait until we had torn down our old fence and waited several weeks for them and then woops...it's going to be more money. We dismissed the workers and got our deposit back. We ended up going with economy fence who came right away gave us a quote in a few minutes and it was done within a couple weeks with no hassles or mistakes. read more

I purchased some 6 inch wide fence boards from the son of the owner of Premier. I was told the pickets were a special item that they cut and that I could get some more as they would be cutting more in the near future. I bought enough to do about half my fence, about $1000.00 in cost. I went back for more and they were out but the staff said they would be cutting more the following week. The young lady in the office said she would call me when the new boards were cut. I went back when I didn't hear from them, the owner's son told me they would not be cutting any more of these boards and he told me he said that when I picked up the first boards. He was hostile and service was was bad. I feel screwed and he gave me no remedy. I have 1/2 a fence and I'm stuck. Thanks Premier for bad service and a bad attitude. My neighbor is going to put in 500 feet of cedar fence and has said he won't go to you. I will continue to spread the word. Shape up or suffer a loss of business. read more
