It's 11:35 am Saturday, Jan 21, 2023. For all those people who had trouble in the past, it's safe to come back. Or try again. I had a return and was met at the counter with a smile and a "no problem!" even though the error on the custom paint was my own. I got what I needed and the check out staff were lovely and a random staff member walked by and offered to take my empty cart. Store is fully stocked and fully staffed...and apparently fully trained. Either that or they only hire nice people. Way to go Menards HR! And to all the Menard's crew that helped me today, thank you!!

I needed a pin for a hinge on an odd size box and two fine gentlemen helped me for at least a half hour. Not only were they helpful, but both were wonderful problem solvers. I never would have been able to do this myself. As an added tip, besides shop here, the world of tools is amazing and I wish I would have taken a shop class in high school. So if it's not too late, take a shop class in high school.

I had it delivered and installed. The installer switched the hot and cold lines on the washer, and my machine is smart enough to know and text me. I hit the chat on the app, but the bot was useless and wanted me to look at an extended warranty. I asked the bot for a person. She was of no help and kept trying to sell an extended warranty. I called the story, and after ten or so excruciating phone bot minutes, I got a person who transferred me to a person who was upset that I was angry and did not listen to my concern. He was only concerned about himself and that I give him respect. No one ever apologize and offered to send someone to fix it.

Hi folks! *wave* It's very handy to be fixing up an old house and have a hardware store so close. We've bought paint, electrical stuff, plumbing stuff, gardening stuff, and more from them. They have a little bit of everything, although if you want specific brands, or if they don't carry a random specific widget you need, you'll have to go into town. For example, if you want any lumber, they don't have it, which is pretty frustrating since going into town for lumber requires renting a truck, but if they sold it, we could just walk it home. My one kvetch is their hours. Specifically, they don't seem to keep to them. They're guaranteed to be closed on holidays and during the Apple Popcorn Festival (generally, the festival plus a few days before and after). However, sometimes they close on a random day that isn't a holiday, so we end up having to go into town anyway. They also tend to be a little more expensive than some of the big box hardware stores, but we look at that as paying for convenience.
